The GOOD: the lady at the front desk who said it was her first day on her own was an absolute darling. The beds were comfy, the lighting was bright and the water stayed nice and hot. The location is within walking distance to all kinds of stores. The BAD: There are hardly any outlets, not even on the lamp on the nightstand. The mini fridge barely worked. The guy who checked me in was very rude. The INEXCUSABLE: My fiance was extremely sick due to an infection and had to be hospitalized unexpectedly. Before taking him to the ER, he was sick in bed and soiled the sheets. The ER admitted him. After he settled in to his hospital room, I left to go clean up the mess. I rinsed them out in the bathtub and was going to take them to laundromat across the street to clean them. After I rinsed the sheets before going to the laundromat, I checked my phone and saw that I missed a call from the hospital to say that they were giving my fiance emergency surgery. I left the sheets in the tub in a panic and rushed to the hospital. While waiting in the hospital during his surgery I received a call from the hotel saying there was an issue with my room. I called them back and was transferred to the housekeeping manager. She was beyond rude and admonished me for leaving the sheets and that they threw them in the wash but she wasn't sure if she could salvage them. When I told I had planned on cleaning the sheets myself, but my fiance was in the hospital, she said "okay? Well you just bought yourself a pair of sheets." To be talked to like that while dealing with my fiance and his unexpected and scary surgery, alone in an unfamiliar city was inexcusable. My fiance's surgery was successful and he should be discharged tomorrow morning, thank God, but I still cannot believe how this woman berated me for sheets.

Just did an overnight on my way to the South Washington area. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I especially liked that I couldn't hear noise from the neighboring rooms or the freeway nearby. Breakfast was great and had options for all: oatmeal, waffle maker, bagels/bread with all the condiments, coffee/juice, scrambled eggs (plain and with spinach/sausage), potatoes, sausage/bacon, plus burritos. There is a Safeway and a Dollar store, plus several eating options, nearby.

We stayed at the hotel one night during our WA adventure. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable however the hotel was a bit dated. We woke up to a great breakfast that was full of options. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful providing us some dinner recommendations. Wish the hotel was in a bit better location we were told we could pull around back but it was dark and we didn't feel comfortable. Overall it was a good stay.

Roach in my room!! Sorry I don't normally leave a bad review but after I've tried to contact management multiple times to no avail I felt it necessary to post these pictures and inform future guests that you could potentially have a roach in your room and management will do nothing for you about it. It was absolutely disgusting, the fact that the property felt dirty should have been my first red flag, I was sick to my stomach after finding it absolutely mortified. The girl at the front desk contacted a manager who I was told would contact me right away (still not contacted even after I've called multiple times) then the gentleman who was asked to go check the room was rude about it, as if I was a burden for finding the nasty creature in my room that he had to go identify. It was still alive when he went to look I made sure I didn't kill it in my fit of crazy when I found it, I still have a video of it still alive. Top rated maybe 10 years ago don't stay here unless they've dropped the price by half otherwise you're paying way too much for what it is.

Checked in Monday night 11/6. The two guys were very nice and helpful. The printers were busted when we checked out the next day and I needed an itemized receipt for work. The lady who checked me out was nice, not her fault the system was busted. Called today to get the receipt. The manager, Rose, talked to me like I was the dumbest person in the world. Overheard her talk to her female employee like she was an inconvenience to her and was pretty rude. Rose told me "if you can't receive fax you'll have to come here and get it". I didn't stay at a hotel because I live in the area. Now who's dumb. Anyway, Rose scanned me the receipt after a bunch of condescending back and forth. The hotel was good. Clean with a nice continental breakfast. The other employees I interacted with were great. One star for Rose the manager, the rest of the stay was good

Everything was as expected and we were satisfied for the decent price we paid. The continental breakfast very good - even better than most other Best Westerns which I believe are among the best in that regard. My biggest complaint was that there were young homeless people everywhere and it didn't seem safe to leave the hotel at night... but that seemed to be the case throughout this entire region.

Stayed here many times without any issues, though the parking lot can be a bit sketchy. I appreciate they still offer cooked breakfasts, and location is convenient for freeway or going into Olympia. I prefer it to the Governor downtown, which I call the Grubner. Also prefer to the other local best Western location.

My husband and I recently stayed at this location, in room 124, for 4 nights. The room was spacious and very clean. We were originally worried about the location of the room, but we never heard our neighbors or anyone in the hallway. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were small. Also, the water pressure in the shower was awful. Hot breakfast was served every morning, and it was delicious. The hashbrown casserole was our favorite! We could have done without the breakfast attendant watching us, and other guests, while in the dining room. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would book again.

It was a great stay. This hotel was spotless. The breakfast was expansive, and free to guests; the breakfast room was spotless. Good coffee in room and lobby. The beds were Beauty Rest pillow top (we asked), and I slept. This place is super quiet, yet close enough to highway for convenience. Many food choices near. Thank you Best Western!

I was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice the rooms were. I gave a 3 on location only because of the road construction but everyone was super nice and rooms were clean! Free continental breakfast also.

Very strong and offensive scent in the room. The spray and cleaners they use for the ROOMS have strong and distinctive lingering smell...really bad! The smell is very hard on the lungs and the respiratory system. I spent 5 nights there and the smell made it very difficult for me to sleep at night. I had very bad congestion and breathing issues entire time. The sprays and cleaners they use in the rooms lasted 5nights, 6 days... I will not recommend the place for anyone who has respiratory, lung or heart issues. The smell will worsen these conditions.

The staff was nice. The rooms were very clean. We got a good night's rest. The breakfast included two types of eggs, hash brown casserole, waffles, fresh oatmeal and several juices.

Almost worth knocking it down a star because of the location and all the construction, but it was fine. Walking distance to like 3 different Mexican restaurants. Free cookies in the lobby. Great breakfast. Great tea selection.

Great place to stay for few days for sure. Super clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff, what else can one ask for. Oh wait, there's more, functioning Gym, Spa and Hot Tub to start your day, or chilax after a stressful one...all there Great coffee brew all day long, and breakfast that will carry you till dinner time. Value proposition that can't be beat, all that around $150ish!

I have never encountered someone so rude at the front desk. I am still shocked. I walk down the stairs and ask politely “where is breakfast?” and she responds rudely “read the sign”. She got up in our faces when I was shocked at her rudeness, yelling “say it to my face”. I walked away to breakfast because obviously she does not know how to control herself. Then as I walk out to give in my room key, she continues on saying “whatever you said say it to my face” and “i’m not your mommy”. Honestly the weirdest experience ever. This woman cannot be working in a position where she is interacting with people. I asked her name but she refused to give it to me. I have never been so compelled to write a review. Please do something about this. Please don’t stay here.

Perfect ratio between the price and quality! The quos better than the exterior lets one think. Not the fanciest hotel, but clean, very nice stuff plus a good free breakfast. If we will be in the area, will definitely stay again.

This place is old, the man/person at the front counter was very unfriendly, they don’t have an elevator so if your disabled you have to carry your stuff up to your room via the stairs, and no water pressure. This place is definitely not worth the 170 dollars a night.

For the star rating of hotel you can't complain too much. First, the staff here are excellent. The front desk staff who checked us in and out were incredibly polite and helpful. Second, free cookies at 6pm every night. The fitness suite and hot tub are small but very usable. Air flow in the hot tub room needs improving, the walls and ceilings have water damage. The room itself is comfortable and generally very nice. The pillows are a little small and the mattresses need updating soon, but they stand for now. The bathroom was excellently clean. Rooms come equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board too. The fridge in the room only just stayed cold. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. Room cleanliness cannot be faulted. Staff friendliness cannot be faulted. The breakfast however was disappointing, the parking lot was very icy, and the mattress could have been better. It's a close 4 star but has to remain a 3.

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Super cozy and clean. The beds weren’t fabulous could definitely upgrade those, but other than that no complaints and if I came back to tumwater I would easily stay here again. Price was good as well.

I slept very comfortable here. Getting ready to travel 2568 miles and I needed the sleep. The staff was great. We didn't have reservations or anything because we were heading out and just needed some sleep before hitting the road.

I don't remember the name of the male receptionist but he is super nice and friendly. Every time he checks me in I feel welcomed. He is the way every receptionist should be! Outstanding service by him! The rooms clean, modern, and lots of food stablishments nearby.

Love the location. Very close to other family members. Room very clean and nice. Great breakfast. A bit disappointed this time, after the numerous times I have stayed at the this hotel. Although the hotel had several vacancies, they were not able to give a late check out and was unable to waive the in-room service during my stay. Previous times, they were able to do both. The front counter clerk answers were not justified nor well explained.

Pretty old Best Western. They are keeping this place really clean. Unfortunately, it is pretty dated and things need to be replaced like tub/showers and tiny small toilets. Time to spend some money here before it's too late. The staff , all around are wonderful. Daniel was the star. Breakfast was ok. Hash browns were a oily mess. Denver omelettes were scrambled eggs with peppers mixed in. Oh well they are trying.

This motel is sparkling clean, including the parking lot, lobby, rooms, hallways and the breakfast room. We arrived after 7pm on Sunday, October 9th and we were greeted by a pleasant and very cheerful young man with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. The woman in the breakfast room was exceptionally cheerful and helpful as well and the breakfast was very good. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastry, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, teas and more. Our room had 2 sinks, one was outside the bathroom and one was inside the bathroom, which was nice. The room was quiet and comfortable and we slept restfully and peacefully. Great job!

I stayed here during a work conference, and the hotel is...well, a Best Western. So wasn't expecting a 5 star experience. Clean hotel (a little dated) and very pleasant staff!! But what I didn't expect was the condition of the area around it. The hotel's exterior is dated, and there was a vacant (with boards on the windows) gas station in front of the hotel. There was a trash can in the gas station's parking lot that was overflowing with garage and garbage was scattered on the ground. Sadly, that was my view from my window. The area around the hotel was very sketchy! I will be recommending to my job to never book this hotel for staff in the future. I will post pictures because the website's pictures of outside are a bit deceiving.

This BW is easy to get to off I-5 but google maps helped with finding location. The staff is nice and friendly. This location is quiet with adequate parking. This building is 2 floors with stairs. Be sure to ask for main floor room if mobility is an issue. Good coffee!

I was in town for work and I got shut out at my first place so I found this place. Very good hotel for the money during these tough times. Clean and comfortable room with a real breakfast. Thank you

This location is okay. The person who checked us in was fast and nice. Didn't realize this was a pet friendly operation. Thankfully my allergies don't bothering me. The room was fine. The parking lot is a little goofy. I've had trouble with the following things here: Had trouble using the Wi-Fi and logging in The shower head was dumb The vending machine didn't work properly They have a person here who erves you breakfast because of COVID

Front desk staff was awesome day and night, bathroom was basic, room was fine, straws all melt when u make hot drinks, but the breakfast staff was grumpy and u get only ONE plate if u are getting it to go. He was serving eggs, hash browns & sausages and u have to tell him specifically what u want, else he skips it. By 9:30 am, he shuts everything down super fast and maintenance and housekeeping staff came in to eat, AND GUESS WHAT? THEY GOT EXTRA OPTIONS OF FOOD! They have burritos, bacon, and other extras saved for staff. What?! That’s sooo ridiculous. We are the paying customers.

I would choose somewhere else. It’s okay and it was pleasant to be given fresh chocolate chip cookies upon arrival but the room was below my expectations. I guess that could be due to the fact I’ve never stayed at a Best Western before. When we stayed here we experienced loudness from other guests, difficult to sleep.

We had our pup this time around and the staff here have been courteous and helpful and friendly!!! Just the train coming through around 1230ish in the am blowing the horn but understand the reason for safety reasons ! Clean rooms and the breakfast is another great thing !
