This place is really lovely and quaint and I had a great time with my boyfriend. The reason I’m leaving 4 stars is because they lost my plate. My guess is that someone took the wrong one because they let the customers go into the back and grab their own plates. I think there should be a better system of making sure people don’t take other people’s work. Obviously not a huge misfortune, but I am pretty sad I put all that time into something I can’t have. Maybe they could try and check what people grab and make sure it’s there’s? Idk..(they did give me a gift card which I appreciate)

Shocked at how busy this was at 12 on a Sunday! Definitely make reservations. Parking was relatively easy. If you've ever done a paint place, this place does it right. Somewhat affordable. Three pieces, with a latte came to about $90

I always have a fun time when I come here. The staff are great and they offer tons of advise for painting your pieces. They also offer several drink and snack options to enjoy while you're painting. Over all great atmosphere and fun for all ages!

I hate to give a bad review. The staff is nice and the beverages and ice cream were wonderful. When we came in, they were busy. Took awhile to get a spot. Then we had to ask for paints. Then ask for paintbrush. No one came to talk to us about how the painting worked. About 20 minutes before we left I heard an employee give new people instructions including you have to paint to coats. I didn't know that so all my colors are light

I love Painted Plate! I love that the glazes are at the table, the paint pens, and the cute selection. Not to mention the yummy drinks and snacks! Couldn’t think of a much better way to spend the afternoon. They can get quite busy so make sure to make a reservation! Definitely go if you haven’t!

I've been there multiple times; most often accompanied by my dog. It's great for families, friends, dates, or just by yourself. If you don't finish what you are working on, they will let you come back to keep working on your piece. Pieces for people of any age/skill. The staff is very friendly. (Masks are NOT a requirement)

The painted plate is the perfect place for any occasion. I have come here for date night and with my nephew for a fun outing. They have a variety of items to paint as well as treats to enjoy. The staff are great and the atmosphere is so enjoyable! Highly recommend!

The staff is always super helpful and lively, and a joy to be around. They explain everything in a way as to avoid confusion, and are very courteous to customers. The atmosphere is also wonderful. Food and drinks are delicious as well. The only complaint I have is for the space restriction; I'd love to see them in a bigger place!! They deserve it, and it could make the whole experience just that much better.

Great family fun environment, and plenty of options of items, paint colors, and stencils. A little pricey at first glance, but a real bargain when you consider it's a personally customized lifelong keepsake. They have a great selection of food and drinks as well. Staff is very cheery and helpful, and the studio is well lit with plenty of natural light flooding in through big windows.

Such a fun and affordable afternoon with friends. We love this place and go often. I need to go back soon to make a dog bowl for my other dog so he doesn't get jealous, lol!

I have accidentally become a regular here as painting on the weekdays has been so good for my mental health 😊 just a few more visits here and I might become a pro at painting ceramics (might) Sierra (oh man I hope I got her name right) has always been super nice and welcoming to me, the staff here have been picked well! People will complain about the prices while not taking to account the price of the paints, the space, and the materials needed for your art. For the experience I'd say it's fairly priced, though I'd like to be able to donate for people who can't afford it.

I made a reservation for me and my friend for 4:30pm on a busy Sunday. When we got in, the table they picked for us was in a crowded part of the room, which wasn’t going to work as my friend uses a wheelchair and wouldn’t be able to get to the table. Within 5 minutes of arriving, the staff(unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the lady that helped us) got us a table in an accessible area and we were seated. Me and my friend had a really great time painting and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend Painted Plate to anyone that enjoys art or spending time doing something meditative for a couple hours. We didn’t order food this time, but a couple years ago we did and it was delicious. Last time we went it was a slow weekday and we spent several hours painting and eating, never feeling any pressure to hurry up and leave. It’s great fun and they have many different options of things to paint. I chose a snake and my friend painted a small heart-shaped box. Will definitely be back as my wallet permits.

We love this place, great snacks and friendly staff. It's always fun to go paint. Though we've had some dishes and mugs chip pretty easily so we stick to primarily ornaments now.

Very fun and very relaxed experience painting a wide variety of ceramics. Since they have a bunch of food and drink options it's a whole experience as well. (Also the coffee is better than the coffee next door which makes absolutely no sense because I believe it's all the same coffee.)

We really enjoyed our time here. You definitely should make a reservation. They are quite a busy place. The appetizer and drinks were very yummy and the employees were friendly. I’m just extremely disappointed with the way my piece came out after glazing and firing. It looks as though my piece was placed at the bottom and others were set above mine, still dripping wet. It ruined my piece. 😞 not to mention this was one of the more pricier pieces they have to choose from. I understand accidents happen but I personally wouldn’t have sent this out looking like this without offering a credit or something of that sort.

My daughter's and I came in on a very busy Sunday. (It's always busy though and we usually reserve a spot) today we forgot and the lady still managed to find us seat! We have been in many many times and the service is always wonderful! The girls are super nice, offer to explain how to do things and where to find things. It's also nice that they have ice cream and drinks you can order while painting. We love this place and have nothing to complain about ever. You should check this place out for sure :)

I have spent time here on several occasions since 1996 and I can say that every time I have gone, it has been relaxing, fun, and a great way to express some creativity. There is never a time when my friends and I have felt rushed. They provide all sorts of tools and stencils for you to use. The experience is certainly worth the "price of admission" :)

Favorite place for a date or girls night! Can hang out with family, have parties, good drinks and make memories! These are a few I've made!

Frist time travel to Olympia, and we find this studio on the way to a cafe. We are attracted by all the pottery stuffs in display window. The instruction from the staffs are very detailed, they welcome all kinds of questions . We have great times there. Do come earlier, it will get crowded on holiday.

First time going, went with a group, and had a blast! The color squares helped us pick our colors. I made an absolute mess just like when I'm painting at home. The ladies working that night were kind, helpful, and bubbly. The place has an atmosphere of fun, even late at night =D

Friendly staff! Easy to follow instructions! Tons of variety to choose from. The ice cream and Italian sodas were delicious. Most definitely planning another trip here!

This is our first time going but we will most likely be back sometime soon. Good selection of ceramic items to paint. Helpful staff, and snacks, ice cream, and coffee while your there. Good place to bring a few friends.

Very fun but I would say not a lot of time for only 2 hours if you were going to do something detailed and nice. And a lot of things were expensive. It takes 30 DAYS for it to be done which is like a month of waiting for your project. But on the bright side, everyone that works there are really nice and supportive, it’s very cute inside too.

Always love bringing my daughter here. Even when they are busy it is a creative & fun environment! The staff is helpful with showing where everything is and providing tips. Afterwards the ice cream & Italian sodas are the perfect treat.
