This is the 3rd time I have tried to eat here, and haven't been able to. Your website says you are open Wednesday - Sunday. I arrive and see your open sign is on. I walk up to the door to see a sign that says you are closed. I give up.

Just disappointing. We got home with our cookies. They were all old for sure. The meringue cookie that my daughter was looking forward to eating was very pretty but when she bit into it it is hard as a rock and very burnt. They other three cookies were stale. I just wasted my money for sure. The only reason for a two star rating instead of one is the cashier who helped us was very polite and gave good customer service. She was a five star. The baked goods were an epic fail.

Took my family there for lunch, sandwiches were among the best we've ever had. Took home some cookies for later and they also were AMAZING! Phoebe's Pastry Cafe is a Mega hit! ☺️

I was torn between three or four stars for my rating. The display cases have many delectable looking items and the ambiance is very quaint and nice. I ordered a pastry which the person behind the counter offered to warm up for me. The warmed pastry was pretty tasty and good-sized as well. However, the person who helped me was pretty curt and almost snotty. I mentioned that everything in the case was priced except for those items in which I was interested. I thought I did so in a light-hearted jesting manner with no ill intention, but her response was argumentative/confrontational. I asked another benign question about the price signs themselves and found her response to be in the same tone. Maybe she was just having a bad morning, but it left me feeling like I had no interest in returning in the future. Good treats, poor treatment.

Great staff! Not a lot of vegetarian stuff but not really a complaint of mine. Though I am a little disappointed that Phoebe's doesnt compost, I did have a great experience here. It's very cozy, and was super convenient, as I was able to walk here from the dealership while waiting on my car. I will say that phoebe's is a bit hidden, so GPS may be a necessity. Theres a little tiny sign pointing to phoebe's which I actually walked past before realizing. I've attached a cute little photo of what I ate here.

When my husband and i went, we ordered a half caprice sandwich (3 bites), a very small salad, a small dessert and a cup of coffee and a cup of hot water... our bill was $31.59! We are not overeaters, nor do we look for huge portions but If you are hungry for savory foods, although they taste okay you get very little for lots of $$$ and they are served on flimsy paper plates with plastic forks. Their dessert are beautiful and very tasty but also lots of $$$ served on paper plates with plastic forks. AND they charge 85 cents for a cup of hot water!!!

This bakery is very easy to access and exit. It is fully handicapped accessible. Very comfortable setting with courteous staff. The baked products and sandwiches are top notch. Great coffee with free refills in-house. Restrooms are near the front and rear doors; female at the back and make at the front. If you found this post to be helpful please consider a thumbs-up.

This establishment keeps posting ads for employment, and one day I saw the owner post a video explaining they were hiring and she was so kind and warm in this video and I really felt a connection to it, really felt like this was the job for me so I went in to fill an application and the owner was just so rude, from the moment she looked at me I could instantly tell she was judging me and all the confidence all of the assurance I told myself drained from me and my words stumbled, my application wasn't filled out to the desire I wanted it and even though the few moments I had with the manager who was also rude I showed so much kindness and politeness that I really champion myself for. But I do not recommend working for these people and I do not recommend eating here.

Brought my 2.5yo for a mommy-daughter date. We enjoyed scones, a cookie, and great customer service. When my daughter made a mess, I asked if I could borrow their broom. They refused and assured me they would get it for me. Two thumbs up!

Phoebe's sandwich quality is top notch. It's no wonder the same recipe of sausage & sage breakfast sandwich has been melting my heart for 4 years. 💓 Wow, creamy, cooked onions, I don't even know what the cheesy cream mixture is on there but it's amazing.

What a great setting. A nicely landscaped vintage home converted to a quaint neighborhood cafe. It's on a busy street but worth a stop. Nice selection of pastries. Tastey breakfast sandwich.

Great pastries and deli-style sandwiches and salads. Limited snack bar seating inside. Generous outside seating. Take out or eat there. Friendly employees. What's not to like?

Phoebe's is my favorite pastry cafe in Olympia! Hands down. And they're still open during COVID! Posted hours are accurate. They've taken sufficient public health precautions, explained with prominent signage - including individually wrapping many of their to-go items as a further precaution. I went in today, and was pleased with the prompt, thorough and friendly service I was given. The person who served me was cheerful, kind and helpful. I am so glad Phoebe's is open, and I will continue to patronize them as often as possible! Support local restaurants, especially during this time! Phoebe's has an impressive selection of sweet and savory treats and sandwiches, all made in-house and executed with the highest quality; their mini quiches are divine - perfect combination of custard-egg filling, perfect flaky crust, and well-paired flavors. So many beautiful pastries in the case, and they also do cake and cupcake custom orders! Their espresso bar never fails to please and impress. And they are the only place in town that sells full-size meat pies, ready to bake at home! Outdoor seating is open, and I am sitting at one of their umbrella-ed outside tables now as I write this. A lovely little stop for anyone looking for a local, quality cafe with that Parisian community cafe feel. Thank you, Phoebe's! You are just what West Olympia needed.

I had the almond croissant for dessert tonight, from Phoebe’s Pastry Cafe. New favorite dessert. Very nice, and cozy place with good presentation, service and variety. Check it out!

Smells wonderful when you walk thru the door, full of bakery goodness! Lots of pasteries, cookies, cakes and other goodies to choose from. Went during lunch hour and burrito, quiche, sandwiches and salad items to choose from. I ended up having a handmade mini cherry pie...delicious! Will be coming back to order a custom cake in the summer. (Their custom cake display was amazing.)

Friendly environment. Felt safe, hot chocolate made with water not milk, however pastries and coffee were great. Recommend heating the pastries if possible.

I have yet to have a baked good I did not like at Phoebe's, they're all wonderful. I've had pumpkin pie cheesecake, sandwiches, quiche, coffee cakes... all delicious! The coffee is fine, but it's not their focus so that's ok. I will admit that I do find myself overwhelmed trying to choose something from the case while every person behind me in line grows increasingly annoyed, but that may just be me.

Would give 6 stars if I could! My partner and I came in for the first time today and got a cinnamon roll, bear claw, and a coconut cream croissant. All are *delicious*, and we will certainly be back. :)

Everything about this place is amazing. From the baked goods to the take home food, it’s flawless. Great atmosphere and customer service. I recently had my wife’s birthday cake made here and it was the best lemon cake I have ever had in my life. Good thing I don’t live next door to this place because I would be there every day!

Sandwiches all come premade, which is a bummer for those of us with food allergies and sensitives. There was nothing on their food menu I could eat because everything is premade. Desserts are okay, service is good, wish I could've had some of the actual food instead of just a dessert. 🥲

Great selection. Can’t really go wrong with anything you choose. I really enjoy the cakes the most, I even order one for my birthday every year!

I’ve only tried carrot cake here so far, but it was the best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Update: I’ve now tried more cake, cookies, and biscuits here. Very tasty! The other two cakes didn’t do much for me, but everything else has been so yummy that they still deserve five stars.

Best Chicken Pot Pies anywhere. We are having them for Thanksgiving instead of turkey. Their meatballs are delicious and sooo good for days I don't want to cook. And their pastries and desserts are to die for. Their meringues are my favorite and BEST customer service. We drive from Westport just to come here.

Excellent, I mean, excellent cakes. They manage to made a very light cake with excellent buttercream frosting. Without a doubt, some of the best baked goods I've ever had.

Pastries are 10+ Coffee is very tasty Staff is very friendly and accommodating Cost is reasonable Dining area is fun and quirky with exception of the back of the coolers and their noise. We will definitely be back!

As a self proclaimed eclair connoisseur, I'd give them five stars for their eclairs alone. By far the best ones I've had anywhere.

Good food. Great coffee. A few “naturally gluten free “ options. Only complaint is the hours! They open late and close early for a coffee shop.

Great food made fresh daily. There is always an amazing assortment of bakery items, as well as sandwiches and salads. The bread pudding is to die for. I recommend getting it warmed up. They also make delicious lattes, etc. This cafe is located in the middle of an office park so it's tucked away but park anywhere and head toward the middle and you'll find it. There are entrances to it on the north and south sides of the building and on the south side there are also tables and chairs set up for outdoor dining. Order at the counter.

We went with this bakery last year for my nephew's birthday party. They did a great job and were able to take the order with a week's notice. the price then (2021) was $109 PLUS TAX PLUS $15% GRATUITY (I have this in email). Although it was pricey, the cake looked great and tasted delicious. This was for a 7" round. This year we decided to go with this bakery for his birthday again. We gave her a week notice and she was nice enough to fill us into her schedule with some modifications on the cake (less decorations). We were quoted $139 for the same size 7" round PLUS TAX PLUS 15% GRATUITY. It came out to be almost $180 dollars! Whaaat.. for a cake that feeds only 8, that's $22/slice. We picked up the cake and it was not up to par with the standards SET BY THE BAKERY (as we got a cake from her last year). We had fondant decorations that didn't look clean, they looked like they were made of left over scrap pieces. Requested for a refund and the owner told us she was disappointed but allowed it. The cake I am sure would have tasted great but it was definitely way too pricey and not up to par with the standards of what we received last year. We were told "they are two different cakes".. granted we got less decorations this time. Don't think we'll be returning especially if the prices keep increasing..

While visiting Olympia we stopped here for coffee and sweets. The ambience of this place is great, the staff were so friendly and the pastries were amazing. The cookies were good, but if you have to choose one thing to eat, do yourself a favor and eat the eclair. It's one of the best eclairs I've had.

Quaint inside, with lots of seating outside. Luckily it was warm enough so sit on the patio, otherwise the two women gossiping along the window bar seating would have to tolerate my eavesdropping; while I franticly tried to get some writing done before my creativity dwindles, as all I can think of is the delicious delights they have sprawled out behind me... Calling my name. √√√ Okay business talk √√√ Spent about 11 smakaroos for 2 treats and a 12oz Americano with a shot of coconut (note: they don't have banana flavor) tip included. Was the baristas second day and the job, attentive and helpful! Molasses cookie was 10/10 would recommend.

Always friendly, good coffee and great pastries! There is no indoor seating, but they do have outdoor seating in good weather.

Super friendly staff - she saw me walking up my dog, a little confused about the entrance location, and offered to take my order through the window. Good selection of pastries, cakes, light breakfast fare, coffee and beverages. Making this my goto spot for quick brekkie anytime I’m in the neighborhood - good alternative if you don’t have time for the line at Hash.
