Like a number of City parks it's gone downhill since established. Some neighbors wanted play equipment and some wanted just woods. The compromise has turned into a hidden parking area for rather skeezy acting folks. There was a Breaking Bad type RV broken down there for at least a couple days. The invasive English Ivy, initially only present in a few isolated spots, is spreading. It's turning dank and gross. It's unfortunate, but the City should restructure the understory vegetation to increase visibility from Cain Road. As it is, I wouldn't go there without a weapon or some power-lifting companions. It's a City park, afterall, not County or State.... so what are you doing with the copious taxes you collect, Olympia? The native brush should be removed with a mulching machine and shade tolerant grass put in. The vegetation between Cain Road and parking area should be removed. This is a shame but the result would be a park that is actually used with no places to hide. My wife says she would NEVER walk in there. There is a fairly dense development in process next door. Perhaps it will be improved as the City rakes in those fees & revenues.

Pretty lame park. Known to the locals as "Pointless Park". Not enough space to do anything, no sunlight for a picnic, and poison ivy make it a miserable park to hang out in. You'd have better luck going to Pioneer Park or even Pioneer Elementary school.

Great park with trails and a nice beach with great sealife at low tide. Kids love it for exploring. We have kids ranging in age from 1 year to 8 years old and they all love it.

Not much in the way of playground toys... Just a set of swings and a few picnic tables. Beautiful, quiet, secluded park with good parking, nice trails, and wonderful trees. It is particularly peaceful here.

Has playground woodland trails and lush grass. Bring your own water, and go potty first cause there's no facilities. Dogs must be on leash and there open Dawn to dusk year round. Ample parking in the horsehoe shaped drive and [almost always empty ] parking lot.

A quiet little wooded area. Tiny park. No bathrooms. Adjacent to a burned down church. Dirty, lots of police patrols though so it's safe. Handycap parking available. No drinking water either. A no smoking or vaping park open sunup to sundown.

I am glad that they finally fixed the parking lot with new gravel... The park looks a lot nicer now with the grass tended to & the swing sets and the trails are better maintained now thank you very much!!.. could use a few more picnic tables would be really nice...

Great double person wood swing. It squeaks loudly. But on a sunny day this is a wonderful spot to stop your bike ride for a secretive food break. Neighbors are paranoid lookie Louis and the street always has a car driving by. Some rock gravel tails walk close to the swing... but listening to the owls in the woods far outscored anyone viewpoint. Careful of the stinging needles and sticker bushes.

It was pretty small but quiet area. Turn in point is a little hidden so it took me a couple tries before I actually found it.

It was fun. But lots of stinging nettle plants.
