Well, since I came on a weekday, it's pretty quiet. Staff at the shop was AMAZINGLY AMAZING!!! Make sure you bring cash, though. Cash only for the food at the shop. Although you can use your card to pay to enter. Overall, 10 out of 10!!! Oh, make sure you get to the fishing dock after the geese poop is cleaned...LMBO

Not a good stay, not even remotely close. We chose a tent site, we were going to arrive late and we had made that clear over the phone when we booked. Upon arrival, there was nothing left for us, no envelope or anything, we had to call the emergency contact to get more information, upon which someone came back and left an envelope on the door. The bathroom had a very weird "use at your own risk" sign on the door. At first we thought it was meant to be a joke, but that sort of thing isn't all that funny. If you have bathrooms, OWN them, clean them, don't put warnings out there, what else were we expected to do, use the porta potty (that had shxx piled up in a cone NOT in the blue water?). We went to the site to set up, and the ground was like concrete. The area was clean but very little if any upkeep is done to try and keep the ground comfortable for tent camping. Thankfully we had plenty of blankets, we set up the tent then got dinner ready on the picnic table and ate. The area was really noisy, we had a group of "urban" types on one side blaring 90's R&B, and they had two extremely bright lantern spotlights that they kept setting up shining directly on our campsite. On the other side there were a group of country hick types, yelling at their kids and blaring "techno rock" of some sort, utter trash music. The quiet hours are supposed to be 10 pm and it wasn't 10 yet, so I wasn't all that concerned. However 10 pm came and went and the loud music, yelling, and flashlight nonsense continued. It seemed like whenever one group would quiet down the other would pick up and get noisy. Finally about 1 pm things got to the point where we could get comfortable and felt like we would get to sleep. Then about 0115 from the "urban" tent site, one person laughing hysterically, about every 30 seconds. This went on and on, I tried "AHEM" coughing, as a "take the hint and stop that" but was ignored. Finally got out of the sleeping bag and looked, and one lady was sitting in a folding chair, staring at her phone, and laughing, again, every 30 seconds. At this point neither of my kids or I was asleep, we began looking online for hotels in the area, unfortunately everything was 200 dollars or above, which would amount to 5 hours because we were leaving early. At no time did anyone from the camp management or "host" come around to do anything about the loud obnoxious nonsense going on in the tent camping area. This was quite easily the worst place we've ever camped at. This would be a one star review except for the fact that we were sort of last minute a couple weeks ago to even book here and they were the only place available. With more time to review my options and get a better place I would not have stayed here, plus most of the issues were other people staying there, but the camp needs to do a better job policing the quiet hours. That part is absolutely on the camp. Columbus Park is quite obviously set up for RV camping and tent camping is just an afterthought. If you are out roughing it with a tent, this is NOT the place to be, not if you want to actually get any sleep. If you enjoy rowdy obnoxious people who ignore quiet hours, by all means go ahead and book here.

I would recommend this camping site to anyone that is looking for a better place to camp at. This is our first time camping here and we loved it. The restrooms are very clean. Showers are nice and clean. There’s hot water which is that’s a plus. Each camping site has water and electricity. Most of the camping sites we’ve been to does not have electricity but you have to paid for shower and their restrooms are dirty. Not this campsite. Loved how there is a little park in this campsite as well with a nice lake. We loved it here and we will definitely come back to this camping site.

This place is a little gem! Yes it is on the rustic side and some sites don't have sewer but the people are awesome! Site we were in was nice and level. Great scenery! Quiet. On my list of good places to stay. Not expensive in my opinion.

Kind hostesses, very helpful and non judgemental of our unfortunate situation. Gave us a brochure with many resources to help get us back on our feet. Very clean and heated bathrooms, and a bathroom that has showers. Very considerate.

A relatively easy place to launch our jet skis and enjoy the sun. Nice park area with plenty of picnic tables. Nice swim area with trampoline.

Day use pass is $8 cash only. (Card use okay in office) The staff is so friendly! It was our first time here and they orientented us in a kind manor. Besides the pass, everything else for purchase is cash only. Fishing off the docks was fun!!! No dogs allowed

Campsites made for squirrels. You’re literally camping on top of your neighbor. Worst experience Ever.

Came here almost every weekend for 15+ years as a youth with my family, management was different then. Tent hollow was our go-to spot, we loved playing in the creek that runs through the spot. 10 year gap between visits and I recently decided to come back with my own children. Not much has changed, aside from some signage stating you can no longer walk through certain areas due to vegetation regrowth. The swimming area is great for the kids, they had a blast. Boat launch has adequate space for trailers to back-in safely. The rooster that lives on-site and starts calling at 2am really sucks...

Too many issues. Changing their policies daily. We stayed there for two days and we paid the normal rate so we were going to see if we couldn't stay for 5 days, they tried charging us 400 when it should have been closer to 189 and we would have to move by the road where some people don't slow down. Bathrooms are horrible due to not staying heated for more than 5 minutes. They also didn't start cleaning them til nearly 11am. We called them two weeks to see if the had a spot for a night due to the heat, well now they are charging for pets. We had never had to pay before and we called two days prior and they were still free. Just be careful if you do decide to stay there, they may change rules on you while you're there.

If you are a single parent trying to camp with your family do not come here. The office staff will go back and forth on what your allowed to do. I tried to have 1 damn camping trip with my kids this summer and they really ruined the experience for us.

The kids had fun swimming, and the dogs enjoyed the sunshine. Tried to get a photograph of the Eagle that flew over but it landed on top of a tree and sat watching everything. It costs $8.00 for a day pass, add 50 cents if using a card to pay. It's not as busy as years past. We had family reunions here, and family camp outs here before Co-Vid.

Best park for the money anywhere in western Washington. Especially for monthly RV site rental. Nicest staff, Very Clean (except the goose poop they have to clean up every day), zero tolerance for drug use and extremely disruptive behavior, and yet you can still have fun and play music at a reasonable level.

Such a wonderful place to stay, great the lake with amenities. The sites are clean and laid out smartly. The public restrooms are clean and guest restroom has very nice showers. We keep coming back here because the staff are really nice too!

Great camp, unfortunately we were put in the spaces close to the highway( 50 & 51) so we heard traffic most of the night. We've camped here before and didn't have this problem.

Love this little campground. It's a little small for camping with tents but it is close to town. Overall I enjoy this place. The negative side is having to pay $30 per day of camping. Other than that, 5 stars.

There is a swimming area, but you will need water shoes, as there is no beach. It's all gravel and rock. In addition, there is a sharp 2 ft. drop-off from the slope to the water, which is very difficult to navigate barefoot. If you use the dock, use extreme caution on the ladder. The first step is just low enough for small toes to slide under the dock, then the ladder rocks back, potentially amputating your toes. The bathrooms are bad. There is a nicely tiled shower area, but no hooks, shelves, etc. to put your stuff on. Worse, there is only one curtain, so you have to strip off on full view of everyone in the bathroom. Looks like it might have been a nice resort at one point, but has been left to decay for the last 40 years.

Qwnt for our company's Annual Employee Appreciation Picnic. The lake is really nice. Even got to see some baby ducks.

Great staff. No so great spots. Really congested. Had to wait 20 min+ while someone TRIED! To jockey their camper into there spot. And for the little ones the play grounds are antiquated and scary.

Despite having several empty spots, they will place tent people right next to RV people, invading people's privacy and ruining the experience. Power and water only. No sewer hook up, No wifi. Plan accordingly. Bring earplugs for the disrespectful folks.

Pretty spots and everyone was very nice the only down fall was not close enough bathrooms.

Nice park with large group picnic area. Only major complaint was that they kick you out of the park exactly at 8 p.m. Quote: "Campers back to your campsites everyone else back from wherever you came from... After a nice day was just a rude way to end it.

Nice area, seemed clean enough, good camping spots with hook-ups. Had to smell some strong sewer occasionally and other campers playing loud music while sparking their favorite joints repeatedly though. Sometimes you gotta put up with that stuff though.
