Beautiful forest with soft, wide path. Our 1st visit, so we stuck with the main path, entered right next to the fenced ballfield, walked all the way down the hill and back up. It's pretty steep in spots (for an older person from the Texas flatlands) but totally manageable. We'll return to explore the side paths.

Flat gravel path. It was after it rained and in November, so it was not as pretty. It is a nice walk.

A forest trail system in the middle of otherwise dense housing. It's beautiful, but some of the hills are quite steep and with loose soil and gravel. Watch your step.

Such a fun trail, but has some rough inclines so be careful!

Great, clean park in a central, easy-to-access area just off two freeways. Perfect quick-stop to refresh when you're traveling, as well as being a nice family spot

It's a short trail, but lots of hills. Beautiful and serene. Great photo opportunities.

Hidden gem for a good forest walk. Hills perfect for sprints if you want. Nice high spots with some good views

It has a field. And a good hill for sledding or rolling. I forgot about the trails. There are a couple of trails. Great for hunting frogs toads and rough skinned newts.

Went playing ultimate frisbee there and had a good time. There were some mole hills that we had to get even. There were also bathrooms to use.

The trails are gorgeous, they are well maintained, wide, and a great place to walk with your dog. I used Google Maps to find Tumwater Hill Park and was lead to an elementary school parking lot. Simply head towards the baseball field, and you'll see an access point or two.

Lots of hills, they are very steep. But my kids both under 5 were able to keep up and enjoy the walk!

From the street, this doesn’t look like it’s very promising...my dog and I almost left but then we found the pathway nestled away and what a beautiful short walk through the trees with sunlight shining through, eventually ending in the residential neighborhood. Fairly steep grade if your walking with young children but my dog loved it and the path was clean and litter-free!

Nice park. Busy on a nice day but that's because it's a nice park

We love walking the dogs here. It's a nice place to chill at a table and eat. The steps on the trail are a bit sketchy because they are so high and steep, but overall it's nice.

Was told that we could see Mt. Rainier mountain from here. Could not see Mt. Rainier any where in this park.

Unfinished trails are the charm. Nice work to clear the ivy and add connection to Crosby Blvd on the west side of the hill

Magical! I'm so glad I stumbled across this little valley of trails!

Wonderful view of the state capitol, the end of the puget sound, and Mt. Rainier.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great place to watch the sunrise. Clear view of eastern horizon. Been going lately to see the 5 planets lined up before sunrise. I have never had any problems or felt unsafe going alone, even at 3am.
