Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great place to watch the sunrise. Clear view of eastern horizon. Been going lately to see the 5 planets lined up before sunrise. I have never had any problems or felt unsafe going alone, even at 3am. People often mention view, park, nice, swing, small, views, clear,

Nice little hidden park, that you wouldn't think to go to until you actually go up top! Oh my, what a special location this has had to be throughout time! I could sit for hours which I did the 1st time going n have been back numerous occasions. Hidden symbolic riddle with the tables and the swing btw....hope you figure it out!!! Very cool results

It's a small picnic area more than a park. The park is bordered by three separate housing developments, all of which are priced for "upwardly mobile" incomes. This park is best visited alone or with small dogs. It's a good spot for thinking or crying.

Great spot for sunsets! Got to see the Lake Fair fireworks from there and it was amazing!

This park has an amazing view of Mt Ranier- which is hard to find because of all the trees in the area! The park is clean and has a nice swinging bench as well. Only negative is that it is a very small park and surrounded by houses with a decently noisy road below. I definitely recommend it for the view, though! You can see the Puget Sound and capital building as well.

Awesome spot to watch a sunrise or a sunset! Quiet and peaceful, small parking lot with at least 10-15 parking spots, there’s a ramp to go up the hill and the view is at the top of the hill! There are a couple of tables there as well. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to watch more sunsets or sunrises there!

Fantastic views of Olympia and the mountain! I only gave it four instead of five stars because it's tiny and you really can't do any walking around. It's meant for people to come and enjoy the view, which is totally worth it!

Overlook with a bench swing and 2 picnic tables. Great view of Mt Rainier and downtown Olympia on a clear day.

Small but, very well designed. Enjoyed my time there, they have a swing and a few tables to enjoy a nice picnic.

It's a pretty good place for a decent view of Ranier and a great view of the downtown/capitol Olympia sound area. The swing is nice and it never seems too busy. Parking isn't great, but it's manageable.

Grab your favorite people or pups, pack a picnic, or pick up a pizza, and hit this place up during sunset for dinner with a view!

Pretty view but it's not a park. All there is at this "park" is a swing.

Found a beautiful little park that overlooked the bay and Capital in Olympia.

Really clean and nice spot to enjoy the views. I came on a rainy day and wish there was a spot to be away from the rain but I was prepared for the weather so it didn't bother me this time. Will definitely be back to see it on a clear day. They have a nice checker table there just bring your chips

Nice view but the parking lot is terrible. Expect to do an Austin Powers style three point turn if the lot has more than three cars parked in it. On the bright side, if you get get there early on clear mornings, the sunrise is incredible.

Simple very small park in a quiet neighborhood. Has tables with built in checkerboards and a bench swing. Overlooks the city and capital building and on clear days you can see Rainier.
