Brutal honesty: Not family oriented, avoid if you are with kids. It's a giant gravel lot with uphill sewage connections. Most important warning: It is also often directly downwind of a commercial mushroom farm and the stench of manure is suffocating. No refunds. The park area is the only redeeming thing about this place. Harmony Hall smells like a tomb but is clean, I would be embarrassed to hold an event here though. Religious stained glass is the focus of this venue architecturally. No ping pong balls or paddles available in the rec room. Library full of well worn romance novels. It is very very quiet if you're looking for a place to just hang out in your RV and not go outside at all. They had ample space to let us pick a better spot for our family (closer to the grass!) but stack everyone together. You can tell who the long term residents and it's a poverty driven situation not retired living my best life traveling situation. All in all, we would never stay here again.

Clean and convenient to local shopping area. Close to I-5. Prices are reasonable and all bills including electricity are included in the price. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available. From here you can head to Mt Rainier easily or to any of the cities around Lacey. About 20 minutes away from JBLM.

On our way here, our truck's transfer case broke just 10 minutes from arrival. Two tow trucks came- one took the truck to a shop, the other took our 5th wheel to the Washington Land Yacht Harbor RV Park & Event Center (lol, "event center"), because that is where we had a reservation for the July 4th weekend. Upon arrival, we were denied our reservation because our truck broke down. Their reason was someone else was towed in months ago and has never left or paid rent, and they were suspicious we were doing the same thing. After telling them we did, in fact, own a truck (showing the police report of a disabled vehicle) and we would be gone in 3 days to our next reservation, we were repeatedly told "I'm not getting yelled at again for this." (Side note- this employee was yelled at for something that was not their fault and beyond their control? Shame on you for treating employees so terrible.) We tried to emphasize our basic, shared humanity. The receptionist called the manager and we were told, "try another campsite." After pleading how it was the busiest weekend of the year, and they knew it was impossible to find a last minute site, they kept telling us we were not welcome. (On our way out, we noticed the "campsite" was nothing more than a gravel parking lot next to a mobile home park and the "event center" was nothing more than a multipurpose room- glad we didn't waste our money.) The WA Land Yacht Harbor RV Park & Event Center left us with 1 option: the tow truck company offered to allow us to park next to their impound lot, which was next to a homeless encampment. Thank you WA Land Yacht Harbor RV Park for *literally* driving us to the edge of poverty- next time you are in need of help and no one is there for you (hello, karma!), remember what it feels like to know the 1 person that could help you turned their back on you. (Our truck was fixed within 24 hours, and we left town, no thanks to you.)

Called to rent a spot said need to be a member of the club to rent a spot there. Ask what the requirements were and was told have to own an airstream and that’s it. Didn’t know we Discriminate what trailer camper or rv you own now.

No services here. Just a fine gravel parking lot for your RV. All connections for hookups are at the rear of each site. Make sure you have a long sewer hose! No on - site laundry. It is quiet after hours. I think there are a lot of folks that are here full time.

We kept having issues with breakers tripping. We notified the office and they told us to hook up to another post, but still having issues. 20& 30 amp; my electrician husband couldn't figure out the cause other than something on their end. I understand using gravel all over, but I just don't like it. There's a nice place to walk your dog with tasty wild berries, but it's gravel and my dog doesn't like walking on it. It's a nice park for the price.

Since only allowing Airstreams, this place is gouging everyone else who stores there. Wash and dump fees were free, then $5, now $10. When we sold our camper, we received no refund on rent paid in advance. That amounted to nearly $300. Further, we were first renting a hookup site for storage for a larger camper that we had at the time. We were never told that would be a temporary situation until they decided to allow only Airstreams. I believe they rented to us under false circumstances. Thankfully we no longer have to deal with them since selling our last camper. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed here for about 6 months. Staff is Friendly and never had any issues. I dont get why anyone is giving anything less than 5 stars when the staff will do any an everything to make sure you have a great stay. Price is reasonable for what you get. Everything you need is nearby and the Area is beautiful. Thank you WLYH for having us. We hope to be back soon again

This place could be 5 stars if internet/wifi was available. I was told that we would be located close to the office for good wifi. NO SUCH THING. 20 feet from the office there is no wifi in the entire park! The staff were very nice but uninformed about the REAL status of available wifi. Seems they USED to have extenders at each row of spaces but something broke and it has not been fixed.

The resort is clean and our site, 211, was level'ish. Road noise at night was minimal. Wifi, even though we were in the 1st row past the office, was nonexistent. I can live without that for a day but the website says wifi is included. I think that means we paid for a site with wifi.....didn't get one! The worst of the stay was the sewer connection. It is at the very back of the site , so bring a long hose (20' at minimum). Also, the dump connection was level with our rv connection, not lower! Our rig is a 31 ft class A, so not unusual. Make sure you get a site with a downhill connection!

We love three things about this RV park: price, safety and location. When traveling its hard to find state parks with spots, so why not stay in a convenient location. Very clean, gravel and super nice staff.

The WLYH RV Park is wonderful. The spaces are double wide and are very easy to get in and out of. We attended the Crab Rally and had a great time. Everyone was very friendly, and the event was very well organized. The chowder dinner and Bingo on Friday night were excellent. The breakfast Saturday morning was delicious and plentiful. There were organized activities on Saturday afternoon, and the Crab Feast on Saturday night had great food and was a lot of fun. Thanks to all involved for an incredible weekend!!!
