It's okay. One or two good things on the menu that are well executed but not consistent. Ordered the chowder on many occasions, sometimes it was thick and pudding-like, other times it was watery like soup should be. Did it sit and simmer down too much or was it reheated leftovers? Each time we've come it's been an odd vibe with the service... not rude but not polite. Taking orders or handing food to a customer shouldn't leave them feeling like a nuisance. Overworked staff perhaps? Maybe I just don't understand millennial attitudes and social behavior.

So glad I was finally able to check out this wonderful vegan restaurant. I got the large burrito with seitan crumbles, jalapeños and mushroom gravy. It was enough for me to have the other half for breakfast the next morning. Absolutely delicious food.

This is amazing 🤩 locks and biscuits and gravy are paradise. Also, it’s the red building, it was difficult for me to find, but I think I was just hangry

Really nice little vegan hangout located in a cool building. Very impressive menu with many seasonal items, the staff is friendly without being abrasive, and service has been prompt every time I've visited. The coffee is really good too and if you aren't hungry it's definately worth stopping by for a cup. The location is next to a bus stop so if you don't drive it's still convenient to reach. Be sure to visit the kitchen shop upstairs

Had a great New Year's Eve dinner here. Vegan place with lots of gluten free options.

WOW. Amazing service and amazing food. I am addicted to pizza and the hand pizzas here are amazing. The tofu pesto soup is amazing as well. I was too full to really dig into the breakfast sandwich. The chocolate peanut butter dessert was great as well just too much chocolate for me but the crust on it was the best. This place makes going plant based a breeze.

Upon entry I was told quickly to pull my mask over my nose. It was barely not covering the tip of my nose. I complied and apologized. We ordered an apple hand pie. It was served cold and the dough was raw and gooey. We then were watching an update on the freeway closure due to the flooding and we were asked to not be on our phones and be courteous to the other guests. There was one other person there that was busy on her laptop and Green Day was blasting overhead. Not sure what that was about but we felt unwelcome so we left. We got glared at as we walked out. The food was gross and the staff was rude. We won’t be back. There are plenty of better options in the area. This is the first time I have ever taken the time to write a negative review.

We went there for the evening 5 course meal. The service was excellent, and the varied food combinations was terrific. If you are wanting to try a wide variety of food, this is a great place for a quality date. The meal was $75.00 a person.

Eat on the roof top terrace for the views. They’ll bring food up to you. They had some sugar free options for my drink. I got the Indian flavored hand pie with the mint raita. I think it was called a samosa hand pie? The chocolate cup cookie was nice too. The drink was not too sweet, which I prefer. They did get a portion of my order wrong. I ordered a lemon flavored pie. But I got a German chocolate pie. Either way it was good. And it wasn’t worth mentioning at the time. But now I can recommend their chocolate pie. I just enjoy that it was not sickeningly sweet. Good job!

My first time ever visiting the cafe and my husband's second visit. We found this place through my uncle-in-law who is Vegan. All I can say is WOW! AMAZING! DELICIOUS! I had the carrot lox bagel (pictured below) and my husband and I shared the German Chocolate Cream Pie (not pictured, but SO SO GOOD!) We will definitely be visiting again. We are very happy customers!

It's raining 🌧 outside and the atmosphere is cozy. I love to use that word. Alright. All three salads are delicious and the coffee, a local roast was nice to get warmed up with . As well, as the amazing Peanu Butter... pie! With a mocha. I'm vegan and wasn't aware of that when I wandered in. So, it was a bonus surprise. Thanks for a wonderful experience on a northwest kind of day.

Wow!!! Whoever the chef is, really knows how to develop flavors. I’m from Portland and I didn’t think I’d be jealous of vegan food in Olympia. We had the biscuits and gravy (best I’ve ever had vegan or not), a burrito, a hand pie, the peanut butter Chai, and a tea. Each item was amazing, complex flavors, and healthy. I can’t wait to come back!!!

This place is seriously amazing. After a disappointing weekend at the coast, I needed some vegan comfort that wasn’t junk. A hand-pie, a latte, and a piece of deliriously delicious cheesecake later and I felt restored to equilibrium. Did I mention the beautifully renovated space and the fun old jazz playing? My only quibble was that their parking lot is still in-process,so I had to park on a side street, but it was not a long walk.

I was treated to a surprise birthday brunch at this wonderful place. I had never had lentil sausage, so I was in heaven, because I love lentils and sausage. My son and his wife treated me, and themselves to this wonderful place, being their 1st time here as well. I'd go back alone, and refer others because of the great food, service, cleanliness, affordability and atmosphere. I was so busy munching, that I forgot to take photos. Bummer.

Delicious Vegan Food, Mix Plates, at $7 ea item. The Vegan Lox was very good, wish it was a hot bagel 🥯 and not pre-made; however definitely something I'd order again. The cakes and sweets were about half as much as the WaySide, downtown. Certainly worth the stop, Enjoy!

Only been here once so far, but the restaurant had a great menu and vegan options I'd not seen elsewhere including hand pies. The staff was helpful. The Irish stew (seasonal option) was amazing. Will definitely come here again when in town.

I feel terrible that I didn’t do a review of this place when I went here! So my father and his wife were driving through and wanted to take us out for lunch “somewhere with real food” he says. So I scour Google maps and find this place. I call and ask about their selection. Mentioning my fathers request and that his comment comes after me taking him to an overly healthy kind of place that I won’t name. She laughed and said that their food tastes “real” and I said fantastic so away we went. Parking is tough as there was construction on the street but that was months ago and you can park across the street easily at the grocery outlet lot! I ordered a chai and a breakfast sandwich and the carrot cheesecake. All vegan and gf. My family ordered the pizza pocket thing and some other items I don’t recall but every single person, including my non gf or vegan dad and wife, were fat and happy when we left. We ate in and the ambiance is amazing. The bathroom clean and tidy. The reusable plates, cups and silverware made my green little heart go pitter pat! We will absolutely be back and I’m actually glad our regular places were closed that day so we found this place! Oh and the woman at the counter was so patient with us and had the best attitude!

Highly recommend to anyone who loves tasty food! I’ve been here too many times to count in the past year. Every time the food is delicious. Staff is friendly and quick! My fav is the queso breakfast burrito and any of the fruity hand pies. My partners fav is the pizza hand pie (their Satan pepperoni is surprisingly delicious) and any of the hand pies. The burritos are stuffed and full of delicious flavor! My fave for deliciously fresh & local ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Came for lunch at 1115 and was told my chosen meal wouldn't be ready for 15 mins. I ordered the oyster mushroom chowder but had to order a biscuit separately. It was delicious but I was hangry when I walked in and the extra 3.50 charge didn't help. Oh well, it was delicious. Just won't be my regular lunch spot

Cashier rapport wasn’t great but their Vegan lox was ⭐️💫 bomb! Salads were ok. Was nice to be able get vegan biscuits & gravy but they were aiight; biscuit was too dry tbh 🫤

Amazing vegan food!! I love the biscuit and gravy, I was surprised at how good it could be vegan. The view is also great, and the interior is beautiful. The staff is nice and helpful. I wasn’t a huge fan of the cream cheese but my dad liked it. Everything is also super environmentally friendly. I would definitely recommend! And would recommend eating on the roof.

The food was very okay. The locks sandwich was pre-made and a bit dry, and the salad lacked flavor. The biscuits and gravy, however were great!

Delicious vegan food from people who go the extra mile to source organic and local, in a setting with a relaxed coffee shop/cafe vibe. We've had the breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, carrot lox with cashew cream cheese on bagel, a variety of Dishes. My husband tried both biscuits and gravy, one with a mushroom gravy and one with a vegan sausage gravy, and says they're both really good. In an extra touch they were willing to share the nutritional information-- big help for diabetics and anyone else who needs to know the macro info. A few outdoor seating spaces available with umbrellas as well as indoor seating and takeout.

The wife and I have been here only once. We each had a hand-held savory pie. She had the pizza pocket, and I had the "chicken" cordon Bleu. The flavors were great, but mine tasted oddly more like a barbecue beef burrito than cordon Bleu (???) Nevertheless, it was still good, although the crust could use a more crispy texture. The beet and kale salad, however... OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I managed to pry a few of the dressing ingredients out of the staff, although they didn't reveal everything (kudos!) I bought a second helping to take home and deconstruct. Of course, I'm not able to recreate it exactly, which is why we will definitely be returning again!

I love this place! The location. The menu. The outdoor events. The staff. My only complaint is the vegan Lox on a bagel......I love it! But PLEASE make it with less salt. The flavor is otherwise great but the salt makes it difficult to palate. Blessings!

Wonderful vegan food, friendly staff and beautiful animal art work. This is the place to go to relax and contemplate. It has a soothing environment and will recharge you to go tackle the challenges of the world. Kudos to this place for offering vegan food. What a great contribution to kindness on this planet which is so needed. It also makes a dent in animal suffering, environmental destruction and climate change. I am new here and just live a block away. This place was a great discovery and has made me love Olympia. The only problem is that I spend most of my money there. 😀

There are very few things in life that can’t be fixed with a hand pie from Park Side. Try the pizza one. Everything here is delicious, staff is super courteous, the cafe space is great both indoors and outside. Stop by after a hike and grab a combo plate and a dessert, you won’t regret it.

Great stop in Olympia for vegan eats. Got some hand pies, biscuits and gravy, chocolates, and coffee. Amazing food at a really good price with a good vibe all around. Nice outdoor seating too.

Daniel was awesome and helped us navigate the menu. We had the chili, lox bagel, kale salad, and Cinnamon swirl cheesecake, everything was incredible and we loved how the whole place seemed really values informed. Cozy vibe and loved that it overlooks a park. Definitely will visit again on our next trip to Olympia!!!

Food is so tasty, expertly prepared and nourishing. I love the Covabelli coffee. I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I choose this place over most others because of the QUALITY. I think prices are very fair considering portion size and the cost of good organic ingredients. Place to improve: I’d love more sweets without cane sugar (honey or maple syrup would be great! Can the lemon cream pie be made w/o sugar?? ;) The gluten free biscuit is too dry IMHO and it needs more gravy. Everything else is perfect.
