Customer Service Concerns at Store in Sleater Kinney: While I believe there's room for improvement in customer service at this store, I must commend the inviting atmosphere at the Martin Way location. Upon arrival, I'm consistently greeted with warm smiles at the door and promptly assisted by attentive budtenders. The store boasts an extensive selection, offering products from reputable local growers, which I greatly appreciate. Despite Sleater Kinney being closer, the exceptional atmosphere and variety make the drive to the Martin Way store worthwhile. Moving forward, I'll exclusively visit the Martin Way location. -Josh

Hi my name is “Stephanie”, I did not post that last review. But I can give you a review, I came in to your store, security guard was inside and scanned my ID. Then I informed your staff members that I would like a return/exchange as my cart was defective and I had tried it on other batteries (3 of them) and it stopped working at random times. He then talked to the shift lead, came back and asked me to go outside while it was raining and then used one of their batteries and took a puff out of the pen. Then told me to. He then said, it pulls right here right now and works so there is nothing he can do. I said I know it’s working right now, but it will eventually stop, it comes and goes. It does it to all my batteries. He said nothing he can do and so I left. I ended up walking back and spoke to the security on my way in, and I said hey man I was just trying to return my pen and explained what happened with the other staff member, he then directed me to your “night shift lead” who said could help me with the return now and that they should be helpful. I went up to them and they asked what I was buying, I explained the situation with the first staff member and how the pen is still not working when I tried it again, they instantly were defensive and doubted the security told me that, went outside to test, I explained it all and they wanted to do it again. We did the test. I tried pulling, it pulled little or maybe nothing. I said I’ve never had to do this too. She then grabbed it and smoked it herself taking maybe 1-2 puffs. Said it works fine. Once again, from MY pen I purchased on your property. I then explained myself for about 2 minutes while they argued about how the pen worked for them so it’s fine and they can’t return it and won’t help me further with this. But I can buy their battery. I asked for a number, they said there was none. Weird? I said “whatever the * thing you wanna give me is fine I just need a way to contact”. People cuss while talking. It’s normal for most. They then said “oh we aren’t doing that” and then I said “oh alright alright” while backing away. Then she was yelling “bye” “bye” “bye” while waving. I’m not sure what that was trying to accomplish. I had to ask her to calm down because this whole ordeal has just been odd and now she was doing that antagonistically. I walked away, went to my car and then I spoke to my bud tender friend who then said to try to find a number outside to speak to someone. I looked outside of the building and couldn’t find one and the security guard then told me to google it. I said I wasn’t looking for their store google number but thank you and walked away. I went back to my car and spoke to my friend again to say there wasn’t one but also to speak about dinner. Your security guard then came up to my car, I realized they were probably bothered by my presence, so I started backing up and he waved, I then rolled down my window and asked him what was going on and why all of that just happened like what did I do and also since when is that policy and he said the second staff member told them I said the f you word to them, I didn’t. He then said he might be able to talk to someone let them know I didn’t say that, but he doesn’t know, I might get kicked out. While that was happening the first employee who helped me is also coming outside to watch this?.. I then said said okay thank you and God bless and he said bye. I did curse, everyone does. I did not harass anyone…. Wow yikes. Asking for help is not harassment lol But two people did put their lips on MY pen, smoked it and made me also put my lips on it and take it home and then one of them straight up lied about what I said. I have been a long time customer, no issues ever w anyone or w anything. And I haven’t had a return in God knows how long because I had moved anyway. But yeah, previously you have helped me with leaked carts or other issues (most dispos do) with no issues but you (or any dispo) never made me smoke it on your premises or had an employee do it before... None of this was okay. None of it.

They've remodeled and hired more staff. They have a large variety of products now. Prices are very reasonable. Budtenders are friendly and quick to help. They know their products. Was very satisfied. The staff is always knowledgeable. The customer service is amazing! I literally love every worker in this place. The prices are always fair. The staff always greet me by name and always know exactly what I need or need to try. I come in everyday mostly and I’ve never felt unsafe or disrespected. The security are always really polite as well. This is also a good place to work for and you can tell by the way the employees are not uptight and in a bad mood. They are always friendly and at ease. The selection is amazing .The way the store displays product really makes it easy to brouse . Some places rush you not so at forbidden. The staff takes time to answer any question gladley . I've never been disappointed . Flower , concitrate , pre rolls , there selection is superior to any place I've been. If I am having a hard time deciding , the staff recommendations have AlWAYS been right on , which is not the case with other stores I have found . All in all it's a great place . I have only been in the are for 2.5 years and have tried a handful of different places. Most have amazing customer service and knowledge but not enough of a selection. Or they have a really good selection but do not care to take the time to educate you or navigate your needs. That is why Forbidden is the best of everything! They have HUGE selection of products!! I have always had a wonderful experience here and ALWAYS recommend this shop. I love that the Martin Way one is more light, airy and upbeat and then the Sleater Kinney is more dark, relaxed and chill (even when they are playing the jams). Both have great staff that are extremely knowledgeable. Always have great deals on their stuff everyday and the way you rack up points there is so freaking easy. And of course the most important reason to go there…..they are DOG friendly!!! Even when I don’t have my puppers I know that I will get to meet someone’s kind and sweet fur baby there. Thank you to the employees that keep us safe. Thank you to the staff that works so hard on keeping the knowledge and brands up to date, always!! Does not keep online menu up to date. Drove twenty minutes to get my pin meds just to be told they don’t have the product. Y’all’s response is a complete joke. You do not employee enough employees to keep up with your in store customers. Let alone have someone open to take care of online orders. I’m not trying to wait multiple hours for you to fulfill my pain management prescription. Your online store should update every time you sale out of a product. If it doesn’t should be fixing it personally. Thanks for wasting my time and energy.

Horrible, was accused of “passing something to a minor” in the parking lot by their new “security woman.” I’ve been going there for years with zero problems then out the blue I get accused of this with zero proof, yelling at me in the store in front of customers when I ask them to explain their accusations to me. She’s clearly off her rocker chasing off loyal customers. I’m sure the owner loves that

The staff at forbidden is the best in Olympia and Lacey they take time and patience to help with whatever you may need for any ailment, product is always available security is always friendly gotta love those guys everyone makes you feel like family. #1 in my book

This place is awesome! So many choices and bud tenders are very helpful. I went in with a budget of $100 and left with a very nice 1/4 and 1/2. My bud tender was the wonderful human with the short pink hair, thank you for your help and insight!

Love the budtenders here! Most of them can steer me in the direction of what I am looking for in my weed needs. They have great sales, and senior discounts. Wide variety of products, including cartridges, pre-rolls, buds, edibles and tinctures. They also sell devices for smoking— cones, papers, and pipes. And they are conveniently located across the street from one of my best friends. Win-win!

I love this place! I hope they never leave! Everyone every time is so nice and friendly. The music is never too loud so they can hear you when you talk to them; that is a big problem with other businesses. This location has a full staff that are knowledge about their products and not just pot in general. They have a huge selection and no b.s. about how what's on display isn't available and then offer something similar that's twice as much. If it's on display, they got it. I love that about them! I will forever be shopping here from now on.

I have been here several times but last night I walked out with 0 A young girl smacking her gum obviously thought that I was interrupting her actual job of helping me find what I was looking for. I always tip & knew that I wouldn't be leaving her a tip. When I come back if she's there I'll wait for the next bud tender . Sad sad day when a person doesn't like working in an amazing environment.

Friendly staff, quite the selection considering the size of the building, literally every inch of wall is covered with product so Ive never had an issue finding something I wanted and at a variety of prices. They also got daily discounts on different things so that's cool.

This is the spot, they've got everything from products to knowledge and always make you feel welcome then have you on your way stoked for the day. There's a solid points/reward program, daily specials, military/veteran discount. Literally no need to check anywhere else out if you want creme de la creme or if you want budget friendly they've got it all. Give them a shot you won't be sorry.

This place has amazing deals and selections! I’ve always been able to find something at the right price range no matter what I’m looking for. They have a great drink selection and tons of wax options. They also seem to have lots of promotions going on frequently so if you’re looking for a new place to frequent on the regular it’s worth it!

I’ve tried this place a couple times. The workers are really nice, but not all of them are knowledgeable. Not really their fault. However, on every occasion but once, the online menu doesn’t match their inventory. I made a pickup order and was given an entirely different item than the one I ordered. I might still go back if I absolutely have to, but it def isn’t my first pick.

Talk about the worst worst worst service in the area. At least it was on this particular evening. Idk what it is but I get we don’t all have good days but seriously keep the attitudes to yourself. Won’t be returning here. May I suggest gypsy greens there is one on the westside where every single time I come in they are all every one of them smiling laughing welcoming customers not once has there ever been any garbage service like there is at this location steer clear drive the couple extras miles it’s def worth it. Also green lady on pacific is amazing too. The tenders there are so much more happier and nicer then the ones on the westside except Tito he’s pretty rad on the west !

Horrible quality even with the higher price points. Always lots of stems and seeds . you can find much better quality at much better price points here in Lacey than this place. Also it is right next door to a shady massage parlor and shady individuals hanging out in the parking lot asking for money . with all the robberies happening lately i would rather go somewhere where i feel safe and i can get high quality cannabis products.
