A little hard to find but . . . Great place for the kids! They burned a lot if energy jumping, swinging and bouncing. There is a small snack bar so you can get drinks. They have people working out there to make sure everyone is safe and playing nicely. Great experience! It will come in really handy once the rainy season sets in, too. Highly recommended!

All the crazy crawls out of the bus stop. Every time my car has been broken into it's been here. The shoes & bag they stole were worth less than the window. Please. Get. Better. Security. Or. Buyer. Beware.

We stopped at the FedEx in the James Center. There were a few problems, My wife was there to print something up and the printer was having issues so I went to get an employee and ask them for help. Moments later it was working. Next problem was the lack of Customer service, we stood up at the counter for nearly FIVE MINUTES before an employee actually bothered to help us (we said excuse me several times). She got snotty and said "WHAT!?!?!" without her mask on and breath wreaking of cigarettes. That right there lead to a lot of people (including us) to walking out of that Business. After we got home my wife called and spoke to Manager and told them about her experience at their Business, and how rude the Saleswoman was. They were "apologetic" and would look into the matter then call her back.. This happened six weeks ago and she never received a response or an email from them regarding the matter. She's not going back to this FedEx anymore.

Seems like a little bit of everything there and change center you can get new tabs for your car and go to the thrift store and get it McDonald's and I don't even think there's a Fred Meyer there too Yahoo

This is the weakest Fred Meyer I have ever been in. They really should give it another name like maybe Freddie's quick-stop. It's a tiny grocery store only and for the most part you are expected to wait on yourself when paying. 8am they only had one check stand operated by a person open , all self checkouts were open , and it was packed with senior citizens. They basically only have food here ..it's not the one stop shopping experience I'm use to with Fred Meyer. No clothing, no small appliances, no electronics, no jewelry store. But if all you want to buy is food , they have great produce and an excellent meat department , as well as everything else you would be able to purchase at a standard grocery store.

The landscaping at the James Center is legit and there is a surprisingly good selection of plants and flowers for a shopping center. They have a Fred Meyer, Rite aid, Verizon, FedEx, Starbucks, and several fast food restaurants. I won't comment on the individual services, but instead the overall layout of the James Center shopping center. I have two major complaints: 1. There is a large gathering of loiterers that also panhandle. Signs were put up that said No Loitering and they were defaced. Several times I have been getting a last minute item at Fred Meyer and there was some sort of verbal confrontation. Maybe a heightened police presence would be beneficial? 2. 19th St between Mildred and 70th st gets extremely busy. The city just recently did tons of construction at the intersection of 19th and Mildred, but unfortunately didn't have the foresight to see how difficult it is to utilize the yellow turn lane that leads into James Center. I have seen so many near accidents. Most of the issue comes from westbound traffic utilizing the turn lane to go south on 70th st. Not sure of a solution, but be aware of difficult navigation getting into shopping center.

It's a great place to shop for groceries they have some of the freshest fruit and vegetables available their aisles are well lit clean and well stocked their employees are friendly and helpful The only reason I give it four stars is because it's not a full-service Fred Meyer they don't have apparel they don't have a jewelry store they're not what I'm used to when it comes to Fred Meyer but for groceries they're fantastic and they're conveniently located they have a wonderful large parking lot and they're riding close proximity to so many other stores it's it is a true shopping center.

Pretty average little strip mall with a wide variety of businesses. Food includes teriyaki, sandwiches, breakfast stuff, seafood, and Mexican fast food.

It's not my favorite store, but it's my husband's, and he gets our prescriptions there. Anyway, I went the other day to pick up a prescription for him. I personally would not shop there.

Hand tools are great. Grinders are cheap and work but the brushes go out fast for $10-$15 who cares get another one. Tarps, drops fair prices. Trailer stuff great. Some stuff getting little pricey but pretty good quality just tough times

Always has my grocery needs. Deli, meats, and bakery are my loves. But a few more vegetarian options would be great. Discovered 72nd St location has that. So FM is still my best bet.

James Center has a lot of businesses and the Police are able to keep their City clean and free of panhandlers. I have also seen Security on site during the day. I definitely feel safer going to James Center compared to my home town of Tacoma.

I love the fact that the prices were decent, I didn't need a small loan to have fun and grab a quick bite.

I usually just come here for fredys or the teriyaki, they really need to do something to get people to want to come here more. It's a beautiful center, they always have the nicest flowers planted and its usually very clean. Just wish there was alittle more stuff here. Maybe with the urgent care going away something fun will pop in.

James Center seems to be the entire outdoor shopping mall, not just the building that holds the Fred Meyer. There are entrances on S. Mildred St. and S. 19th St. I am basing this statement on the large signs marked "James Center" which lists multiple businesses, most of which are not Fred Meyer. The parking lot is very hilly and it's hard to see where some of the buildings are from any given place. The building marked James Center Plaza on its east side is not the same building as the Fred Meyer, it is the building with a bunch of dentists and other medical offices. The shopping mall website seems to no longer exist.

Super! Very kind, empathetic and professional from the phones to assistants. They are open 8am - 8pm when everyone was closed I barely had a wait for a matter my primary was booked out a month for. Really appreciate their kindness. They all seem like they want to be there!

We went to the trampoline place for a birthday. Defy Tacoma . The people that worked there were very accommodating. We were late. So they gave my kids extra time. Bangers that the birthday girl and the kids that were there on time didn't get the other bracelets for extra time so I asked if I could pay for those kids too I felt so bad that my kids were going to get a jump longer because they were late. I'm not going to meet with her they said sure So I bought four more passes i think it was like 40 bucks so all the kids ended up with about 30 min more of jump time which they loved. Great place for kids to get exercise and have a lot of fun doing it too.
