I really missed this style of food. I lived down south where good southern comfort food is everywhere. Ever since I moved back to the Pacific Northwest. I longed for some good southern cooking. With so much on the menu to try, My wife and I went for the sampler with cheesy grits, black-eyed peas, gumbo, Gator, sausage and a double order of catfish. The catfish was perfectly cooked the way fried fish is supposed to be, lightly coated and fried where it wasn't greasy, crunchy, rubbery you can taste the freshness of the catfish the same for the gator very tender full flavored. The cheesy grits was awesome so full of flavor and love in every bite black eyed peas was great and totally delicious and the Gumbo was a meal in its self not too spicy or hot just perfectly well seasoned. It also Came with flattened like cornbread and beignets it feed a family of 3 with me over eating it could have feed 4. The price was very affordable and with my 4 year old having grilled cheese sandwich with fries and a coke it came to around $32.00 great deal! The waiter was friendly and the owner Jeff was very welcoming and friendly. This is a must try for those who miss and for those who never tried Cajun / southern style food. I'm looking forward to coming back. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well.

Holy cow. After reading the reviews at 4.9 stars on google I was ready to be disappointed after setting my expectations too high. Let me tell you how wrong I was. Yes there was a wait but that meant I got fresh food. The owner made a very friendly atmosphere and amazing food. I’ve never had gator or catfish before but I will for sure again! It was amazing. Gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. My goodness delicious. Pictured is wild chicken and sausage gumbo, jumbalaya, and creamy Cajun Mac and cheese. Then the delicious fried chicken. Then the amazing fried gator. Last but not least beignets! Yes I also copy and pasted this from my Facebook review. 10/10 will be back and will bring my dad as soon as I can get him to Olympia.

I would say probably the best we can get here in Lacey/Olympia! Oh man was the catfish bites delicious! Moist and lightly breaded and the sauce! Oh man! What ever that sauce/dip is, it went perfectly with the catfish bites. I got the beignets and I thought it wasn’t bad. But my dad on the other hand fricken loved it!

Laissez les bons temps rouler! The gentleman working the food truck is not only a very friendly and welcoming human being, he’s a master at his craft of producing Cajun/Louisiana inspired food. I enjoyed the special today ( I went with his gumbo, fried trout, and fried shrimp - pictured). Will definitely be back to try some more dishes. C’est toujours le bon moment for some Cajun food!

So my wife happened to find this place and decided she wanted to try it out. Let me tell you, it won't be our last. We tried the Catfish and Ribs with the Jambalaya and cheese grits. When, I tell you it was good, it was GOOD! The catfish was the best I've tasted since I've been stationed here, as a matter of fact, EVER!. The sauce that was paired with it was phenomenal, I just wish there was a bit more of it. The cornbread was a unique flavor but it was really tasty too. The owner Jeff seems like a pretty cool down to earth guy. He conversed with us while we waited for our order. I will be revisiting this place again.

This place has fantastic food!!! I had the catfish and chicken bite baskets with the jambalaya and cheese grits. WOW!! Fresh and very tasty! He was straight forward with me on the wait time as they prepare each ticket one at a time which I can appreciate. So the wait was a little long but I am ok with that! If you want great Cajun food, stop in here and give it a go. You won't be disappointed.

I thought this food truck turned brick and mortar was awesome. I am not from the south but my wife is and she finally got some collard greens that are too die for. I went with the shrimp and grits and "OMG!!" they were awesome. I also had the 7 bite chicken and the misses had the 4 bite catfish.

This place is a rip off. The food is a Cajun taste, but this guy is overcharging the service members for his product. Essentially I just paid $2.25 for French fries comparable in size to a kids meal. $11 for a fish gumbo 1/3 the size I could get at any normal Cajun restaurant as an entree. This food is not so notable that I’ll pay for it at such dumb pricing again. The Philippine food stand around the corner JaBogs gives a much better deal for the money.

I ordered the shrimp po boy meal ($13.75) and came with a side of either gumbo or jambalaya. Over price. Plain and simple. I won't be getting my business anytime soon. I wasn't impressed at all.

Always my go-to every time I go up to JBLM. The gentleman running this truck is extremely friendly and his service is impeccable. Come check this place out if you're missing some southern cooking or looking to try out something new!

The food is seasoned perfectly… portions could be heavier for the price… maybe some sides? But overall the food is amazing.

Jeff has amazing Cajun food!! Anyone from the south and craving flavor plus kick? Go see him! He has rotating specials everyday (you can see on his Facebook or text his number to ask) plus menu items like gumbo, catfish and chicken fingers. I personally love his special of fried crawfish also his ribs are amazing! Be sure to ask for the jumbo spicy if that’s your thing. His food truck is in the parking lot right past the car wash on main post

What the hell? The spicy chicken is insanely delicious. I highly highly recommend the 3 meat combo with 3/4 lb Jambalaya bowl.

Great person, Great food. Everything was made fresh to order and I will definitely be back. Very generous portions. Would of posted photos but my family demolished the plates haha.

I hear their foods are 5-star but the food truck has horrible hours, if ever open, and often runs out of food within minutes. And he's too slow to host a one-man show food truck. Poor business model! I would post pictures of his amazing dishes but I can never try them.

GET THE GREENS! Top two I've ever had. The chicken was equally amazing. Crazy juicy, flavorful, and fresh to make my order. The dipping sauce, you dont even need, is awesome. I will be a frequent patron.

This place is amazing! The chef came out to welcome us as soon as we arrived & explained our options & specials for the evening. We ordered the fried catfish basket with potato salad & gumbo for sides & sweet iced tea for our drinks. It was freshly prepared & tasted great! I’m from the Deep South & this food reminded me of home. I will be returning for sure!
