I had the jaegerschnitzel w/spaetzle and it was very good. I ate there around 2 p.m. on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy so the food came out quickly. Prices were reasonable, I would definitely eat here again.

This place is by far 100% better than Leavenworth, WA food. Everything is so tasty and the flavors are on point. I really enjoyed eating and my time at this establishment. I will definitely come back! I also had coconut cake and the chocolate cake both were so good, not too sweet! I’d say they were perfect! Will definitely come back!

Food was pretty good. It tasted like it was homemade. The staff was real nice and friendly. The portions were generous and filling. The doner was delicious and so was the Jagerschnitzel and Alfredo pasta. Great place!

This Diner is one of our favorite places. The food is on point, very good and very filling. The dinners and the desserts are what you would expect when visiting a German Diner. The owner cooks like her grandmother did, so expect a hearty meal.

Absolutely amazing food. The manager was so nice. I had the Bacon Schnitzel with fried potatoes and brown mushrooms gravy. She also made me a Schpitzi to drink. A German delicacy apparently. It was delicious. The chocolate banana cake was out of the world.

Overall pretty good and filling for roughly $12-$14 per entree; a fair priced hole in the wall in Lacey. Come for the fantastic schnitzel and try to avoid lunch and/or dinner rush. Not a fan of their goulash over spetzl. More details below if desired. Pros: 1) The tomato based sauce & schnitzel was great! Meat tender yest crust still tender, felt sauce had a small spiciness (we like spicy) 2) Cabbage was not overwhelming and very savory, spetzl was decent as well. 3) Friendly and cozy service, clean dining area 4) They make their stuff fresh from scratch and you can really taste it. Cons: 1) They make their stuff fresh from scratch, so the wait can be long depending on current orders (I placed a dine in order 30 minutes before arriving and waited an additional 30 minutes for the entrees) 2) Goulash was not for me, slightly sour and not savory. I prefer the stuff with beef instead of chicken and more stew-like (I'm not from a German family, so take this with a grain of salt if what I like is not authentic) They also deliver near their location, but I have no experience with that.

I love this place. The owner is German, so the food is authentic. They have a wide variety of food and I suggest the cream schnitzel (I usually add egg and bacon) with the potatoes and bacon. You get a lot of food for the price. I normally eat dinner and then reheat the rest for lunch. It is a small place, so it can get very busy. The staff remains super polite, but know it may take awhile to get your food. Regardless of how long you wait, the food will be good. I prefer a place that makes you wait, but delivers quality delicious food over a place that slings stuff out without caring how the food tastes.

Date night with hubby and we landed here. First of all DO go! DO NOT judge a book by its cover because where it lacks in looks it makes up in the most DELICIOUS FOOD I've had in years!!! This is whats left of the goulash spatzel and sausage we ordered. Holy moly amazing!!! In the end, get that coconut cake. Best date night dinner we have had in a while.

Authentic freshly made. Very tender, excellent flavor. Best true European cakes and ice cream desserts. Lived in Germany for 7 yrs. Really brought back the taste of German small town food. Not fancy but you will not be disappointed.

Truly such an amazing and traditionally cooked German meal. Lived in Germany for 3 years and this is the only place in the states that compares. I will absolutely be back! If you complain about the wait- you have never lived in Germany. This is how it is when it’s fresh!

Talk about nostalgia, felt like I was back in Germany and Switzerland. Portion sizes were just right! The schnitzel was so delicious along with the gravy and potatoes. I added some sauerkraut on the side and it was perfect. This is comfort food at its finest. Even better is you don’t leave feeling overly stuffed.

I used to stay Germany for about a year and half. So i missed german food now and then. I saw someone recommended this place on fb and finally i had a chance to get there. The schnitzel that i’ve got was pretty good but had to wait almost over an hour to get food.

Simple atmosphere, but the food is good! Service is always friendly and usually pretty quick. Pilsner is always cold too.

Honestly love this place! The sauerkraut is superb, caramelized to perfection. Such a gem in the Thurston County community! I appreciate the rotating weekend menu, and have found a reason to try each at least once. Their house made cream cakes are an excellent way to top it off as well.

The best in Lacey, my husband is German and he remembers all the food he had as a child, definitely the closest tasting food to Germany that you can get, and they have a good selection of German beer too ! We will definitely be regulars, glad we found this spot.

Great food, very good service, atmosphere could use some work. Let me reiterate-) - GREAT FOOD and service. The owners and staff know how to cook authentic German meals. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection, moist and tender under a crisp breading. The house dill dressing for our salads was a delight and the sides were delectable and amply portioned. My wife didn't care for the sauerkraut but I enjoyed it and had enough left over to eat with some grilled bratwurst a couple of days later. Atmosphere? Could use some freshening up. The place is clean and tidy but very basic. Our only complaint is the booth seats. They lean forward and we had to move to a table and chairs. We will definitely be returning.

What a fantastic diner. The sauerkraut is the owners grandmother's recipe and it is unbelievable how good it is. I will definitely be returning to try other dishes as soon as possible.

Great food. Big portions. Need to take a nap now. Cream schnitzel was cooked crisp and light and the cream sauce was not overpowering. I enjoyed every bite.

Making this our new date night spot! Just moved to the area and went here for the first time tonight and WOW! Definitely get the chips and dip as appetizer, it is to die for! And of course, it’s the best schnitzel and brats in town. Yum yum yum! Top it all off with some cake and it makes for the best meal of your life

I’m a very picky eater, so I was wary of trying something new. I ate here for the first time with family and I do not exaggerate when k say this, it. Was. Delicious! Their staff is so friendly and welcoming. Their food is perfectly cooked and their desserts are homemade and also delicious. It may not look fancy but, trust me, this is absolutely worth visiting.

Everything was so good. NOT a light, "healthy" dinner, but perfect for cold nights where you're really hungry, have had a few drinks, or maybe had a terrible day- it's warming and filling. Like a comforting meal made by a very talented German grandparent. I definitely had leftovers, and it all tasted good even later. It's not a flavor explosion, but instead a smaller amount of ingredients cooked with care to showcase the fullest of their flavors.
