The store manager came to me while I was checking for the berries freshness/ hardness. She said that I had no right to do it and if I don't agree, the store's doors are open to leave. As some one already mentioned, the managers definitely need customer service training.

I sure did take my little brown self in here. Not one regret. I was treated so kindly and shown around. One lady pointed out to things I may like and told me how to prepare it. I got distracted by the massive feta-dill-onion pastry. It wasn’t until I spent $30 getting sprats, German bread, tangerine juice and strawberries (not part of original plan) that I realized I never even went to the café side, Marvel Cafe (look for my review there) which was my original plan. 🫠 Now I have to swallow my pride and shamelessly go back in there because I’m not leaving without trying another pastry or their coffee. 🫣 наслаждаться!!

Marvel Food and Deli outshines every other grocery store. The staff is always cordial, the food is always delectable, and the price is always fair. The best store (by far) for Eastern-European cultural foods, it can still compete with large, national brands. Drop by for some organic fruits and vegetables, then sample the Slavic sausages. Grab some tasty Russian Pastries and you might even get to try the Coffee! We're always excited to see you at the Russian Store ... До встречи!

This review is for the market, not the cafe. I haven't had a chance to eat there so I'll do a review for that one a different time. I was super excited to find a market in the Tacoma area specializing in eastern European items. There is an amazing selection of everything from cheeses to dumplings, but the produce section is what I love the best. Very good selection of local, in season produce at the best prices in town. The small bakery at the front of the store carries a good selection of pastries both sweet and savory. I love those cherry sloikas!

I would like to recommend a cafe of Ukrainian cuisine. Great quality food, fresh ingredients. Meat dishes, fish, salads, side dishes, pastries. And this is not a complete range. A cozy place for a friendly or family lunch or dinner. Very nice prices! The girls from the staff are very friendly and hospitable. If you like delicious food, variety and comfortable prices, this is the place for you! They also have takeaway food! Which is very convenient for active and busy people!

It's a marvel I haven't been here before. Best quality. Seriously, underrated. It's a European store. Trust me just go. You won't need a passport.

Nice european store with mainly Polish, Russian and Ukrainian produce. If you haven't tried slavic food (especially sweets), now would be the time and this would be one of the places. Lots of variety, groceries to choose from. The store is clean and well maintained.

Pretty amazing place. I never knew about it until I stopped in one day. Funny though, all my Ukrainian and Russian friends knew about it. Lol! Great place for international foods. I still can't believe they have an entire (both sides, all the way down) aisle full of candies too! The bakery has Peroshki as well, but I understand you have to get there early or they get sold out. Be warned though, they're closed on Sundays. I'll be stoping in again!

My Dad was of German decent and loved the food I would make. I always couldn't find certain items, but then discovered there were stores to get the best cheeses, meats, and other items. I especially love Christmas time, now I can treat my grandchildren to the same foods and memories!

Perfect for intimate celebrations such as anniversaries and weddings. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. The service is excellent. Adore it. The lighting inside the arena is the only thing I would change. Getting a good shot is challenging. Everything else is excellent as well. God bless you and your company.

I love this place!!! Whenever I am missing European comfort snacks/food I drive all the way from Gig Harbor to pick our favorites up. They have a nice deli, lots and f fruit and veggies, and of course a counter with piroshki and bileashi and other Easter European desserts.

Delicious pastries and interesting variety of fun candies- plus much more that looks like iT will be fun to try. Lots of foods that are labeled only in another language, so google translate may be needed, ot at least an adventurous willingness to try items if you can't be sure of the flavor. The mystery is part of the fun for my kids when they're picking out new candies.

A good store for those who want to try something new for themselves from Russian cuisine. Products from different countries. Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and others. It is also good for people from these countries who miss their products. There are restrooms and disabled parking.

Great store with good fresh hot food bar and selection, however by not upholding the mask mandate, they endanger all who work and visit there.

We stop in here about every 2 weeks and grab dinner to go. The food tastes all homemade and is incredible! Such a different change of pace from all the ordinary take out. They are always patient and friendly which is helpful because we don't always know what their offerings are and they explain it. The desserts are delightful. The prices are truly fair for what you get. We love their food so much!

Grocery has huge variety of European chocolate but mostly of the cookie variety. Would be nice to see chocolate bars also. Have not tried the Cafe area yet but will in the future.

I ordered through Uber Eats and I am just AMAZED!! The portions were perfect, the lightness of the puff pastery and crossiant sammich...just perfect. OH...the avocado toast...OMG...I added fried egg...so good. The BEST avocado toast I have ever had!!! Order from here or go here...you will NOT be disappointed! PS - they put a handwritten thank you note on the bag. Just lovely!!

Marvel is Slavic food cafe. It has ready made salads and specialty type of cooked meats. Like meat balls, cabbage rolls and stuffed peppers. Flavors and spices that are delicious. Better than what one can make at home.

Great place for a small wedding, engagement, birthday party. Stuff are very friendly and polite. Service is very good. Love it. Only one think I wish it could be better it's lightening inside in the venue. It's hard to take a good photo. The other things are just a perfect. May God bless your business and family.
