Excellent store with broad selection. The staff are extremely pleasant. I bring my adult deaf/autistic son there to shop because the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant to him. When they see me signing to him almost all checkers immediately switch to polite signals directly to him instead of expecting me to interpret. Most even know how to sign “thank you” at the end. My son always has such a big smile after shopping there.

I have left the store after asking for help in the baby section for diapers several times at this point and came in one day to find the formula locked up. How long will it take to get formula? For diapers I have had experiences from 5 minutes to over 20 minutes where I gave up and went elsewhere. I liked this store alot but in the last two years the change has been horrible and it's only getting worse.

The grocery part of this store is pretty darn good. Great produce, good deli selection. Look for the deals and they can be had. For everyday shopping I don't go here because the prices are high. The staff are usually pretty good. There is even a free fruit bin for kids to have a healthy snack while you shop. The bananas they had were still green so that was a bit disappointing but the gesture was nice. We found one mostly yellow banana and a Cutie. Thanks Freddy. Their cheese and wine selection is fantastic.

I love Fred Meyers but not this location. I took time from my busy schedule and came in trying to do returns at 7:45 pm tonight. I was told there are no customer service reps after 7. There were employees in self and in person checkout and it looked a little slower so I asked for returns and was told they can't process it up front. Neither can they send someone in the back! We also called a manager who was 'busy.' Seems like a big money grab scheme, returns are a huge component of customer service and to just plain not do it when that is not company policy seems should be illegal. Go to a different Fred Meyer location! I also had returns for target and they have reps doing returns at 8:30pm.

For three years our Lacey store pickup order every ten days had had just one minor problem involving one item over all that time. But, in the past two months we've been charged $211.80 for salmon we didn't get, $40-some dollars for beer we didn't get, and now $20-some dollars for coffee we didn't get plus were charged for two family size bags of chips but we only got two little bags. The store fixed the first two problems; they're about to hear about the new one. Why is this suddenly happening, and who else is getting charged for items not received? Better check your receipts.

I keep shopping here even though I get frustrated. The shelves are too high. It's hard to find help if you can't reach things. They move items, and then you don't know if they are out of stock or somewhere else. I included a picture of the olives I wanted. I stood on my tippy toes and held the camera up just to see if the olives I wanted were in the back, and they were. I went to house wares and got tongs to reach them and failed. Never saw an employee to ask for help until I got to the register. By then, I didn't care.

Lots of meat selections, bread, cheeses and liquors. Deli has sushi area and all you need for an awesome sandwich. Sweet tooth? They got you covered. Fruits and veggies have great prices too!

It seems like this particular location has suffered more from the pandemic than other locations. I much prefer going to Tumwater. Pre-pandemic there were always lots of checkers, employees were helpful, it was a much more civilized atmosphere. Now it's tense, you can never be sure of finding things, I've seen rotten produce, and the wait for a cashier check out can sometimes be as long as 30 minutes. When they redesigned the store it really messed things up. The organization isn't logical. The aisles are narrow and then they make it worse by putting cardboard displays out. For somebody who isn't tall, a lot of things aren't accessible, the shelves are very high. I still go, mostly because of the pharmacy. There are long waits, but the pharmacy staff is friendly and over and over they have gone out of their way to find the best prices for me. Since my insurance is **** I appreciate that a lot. Over the years I've saved a tremendous amount of money by using their pharmacy. And with gas almost $5 per gallon, the gas rewards are important and FM is more generous with the points than Safeway. I wish I was closer to the Tumwater location though. Lacey has really suffered badly.

The thing I noticed about this store is they go in spurts of having a bunch of good clothes, shoes, etc. And then nothing. Their regular prices are expensive but their sale prices are great!! Recently I noticed their book selection is slim. They used to have isles of books and now one row. I don't know what happened.

I like the deals they have at times. They don't raise the price of an item when they have it on sale for buy 1, get 1 free. I got 2 rolls of hamburger cheaper than I would of gotten 1 roll at most stores. Great deals on the carton of shrimp cocktail, plus great Sushi.

I went to Lacey Fred Meyer today thinking I would save time because I needed non-grocery items as well as groceries. The first things I had to get (pruning shears and a tapemeasure) were locked up. OK...I understand that but why should I have to wait 5-10 minutes and ring the buzzer multiple times before someone came to unlock the item. Then they were out of 3 items I needed for groceries and had no idea when they would be in stock. Then went to check out and the person ahead of me was buying salmon and the checker couldn't find the price. She called to the meat manager in the back. It took her multiple calls and over 10 minutes to get the price. Then they changed checkers. I said to the new checker that shouldn't have taken so long for them to find the price. She got really snippy and said "do you really expect us to know the product codes?" I said no, but I expect your department manager to be able to help you so the patrons don't need to wait so long. Then she said "you can't expect us to know all the codes for hundreds of items." Between under staffing, missing items, long lines, and a rude checker, I sure won't be going back to Fred Meyer anytime soon!

I try to support local businesses, but after this experience, we are using Amazon instead. We bought zero gravity chairs at FM online. They were poorly packed and arrived broken. We brought them to this FM for return, but they wouldn't accept them because we bought them from Fred Meyer online. Wth. We brought them home and can't log in as the portion of their website for returns is broken, just like the chairs. So tomorrow, I have to spend more time on this issue on the phone and do who knows what to return their broken merchandise. Am very disappointed with the entire company and will not order from them ever again.

Informed 2 different employees that they have rats running around the produce and soda isle and the baby food and diapers and they didn't see to care let alone notify someone higher up.

They rearranged the U-Scan’s and it’s such a better layout! Sadly yes theft has caused them to have installed gates at entrance but this store is always clean and has great pricing. Also don’t forget to use the Fred Myer app for extra discounts like coupons to use on your purchase.

I go to Fred Meyer as they usually have some great sale items. I like shopping here as most of the employees are so nice and helpful. But a few days ago even though there were quite a few full service checkouts open there were three people with overflowing carts that were using the self checkout. When you have that many groceries using the self checkout doesn't make any sense as there really is no room to put your groceries after you're done scanning. It was designed so that if you have 15 items or less you can get it done quickly. It really slowed up the lines. I noticed that they don't post a limit on how much you can have in order to use it. It would be a great help if they would as this was frustrating for everyone in line that had a just a few items.

This is one of my favorite go to grocery stores. I like there deals. They're also a grocery store that goes above and beyond for people who eat Gluten-Free. This store I swear has the best selection.

I will no longer shop here. I've had repeatedly rude experiences from the butcher area, which is ironic considering the only reason to continue to have someone weigh a piece of fish or beef for you is for the nostalgia of person-to-person contact with the butcher. These butchers act like they hate having to interact with customers. I have also noticed when I purchased packaged meats at this store that the weight on the label is not the weight on my home scale. But the weight matches when I buy at other stores. And now they're demanding photo ID from senior citizens to buy alcohol.

I love this place it's not Walmart and the people are way more family friendly and people actually help you if you are looking for something like back in the day .this place is my go to for just about anything.

Worst customer service line. Always at least 5 people in line at a time. Never enough help and too many services offered at counter. You need just 1 line for returns and do all the other stuff in other lines. Takes to long to fill out a form to do a money order or pay bills etc…

I tried to get gas at the fuel station but the associate said I couldn’t use Apple Pay out there. He made it seem as if I could in the actual store, so I went inside. I Shopped around a bit just to be able to get cash back for gas. The clerk at customer service was very off put by the fact that I asked her to ring up the 2 bookshelves and collapsible hamper I wanted to buy and then made me seem as if I was a huge inconvenience to her. Whispering with another clerk and the security guard as she walked behind the counter. So after that less than pleasant experience I was also not able to use Apple Pay or Google Pay (only Samsung, & Kroger). So what would have been $225 spent at Fred Meyers, turned into $0. Thanks to the not so amazing staff and accepted forms of payment.

Pleasant,in and out quickly , the lines move fast, the produce is very good with a large variety of fruits and vegetables, they have a good deli, their bakery is good as well. The butcher dept seems to be very good as well. They also as well as foods have a good electronics dept as well good hardware section and a comparable garden dept.Everhthing you could need , you could probably find at Freddie's.Their head manager is a great guy, that cares about his store as well as customers, and Craig the head pharmacist is the best you could find anywhere , he is super and will answer any question you possibly could have.

Good location. Near I-5 freeway off & on ramps. Good selection from food to housewares to clothing to seasonal; at reasonable prices. I switched to Fred Meyers for the daily baked sourdough bread. FM has a self-service bread slicer at the Lacey store. On site free parking and a Fred Meyer gas station. One stop shop. Worth the visit.

I had a long list of grocery items and my last stop was the deli since it's close to check out and I just wanted to mention that the service I received from Markus was so refreshing. He was super friendly, positive, and quick. He created an atmosphere that had me leave the store in a good mood rather than a stressed one, like I normally do. Thank you Markus! Definitely recommend seeing him if you need quick and friendly assistance at the deli.

I really like this store. Their employees have always been very helpful and friendly. Their prices are higher than WinCo but there is a much larger selection here. They are a lot cheaper than Safeway whose prices are getting ridiculous. The one thing I don't care for is their digital coupons as I can't get it to work on my phone. I tried a few times but got frustrated and quit. It's because of this that I rated four stars instead of five. Another thing they need to do is have better signage on some of their sale items that require you to buy five or more items to get the sale price. It is very small and is easy to miss if your in a hurry. This store has a lot of self service check-outs and it usually goes fast even when it's busy. Oh..and don't forget to use the My Freddie's Reward card!

The fruit prices can't be beat. Also have good sales on random things. Good prices in general on many things such as canned foods like soup, fruit, veggies, candy, juice... Also have some higher prices but worth shopping there for good ones.

It's an alright supermarket , I went there cause it was Last minute and Close to My hotel. Thankfully they had what I was looking for and I'll give them credit for not being eXpensive and I had a rather quick and easy experience

Ryan from customer service at the front was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to assist me! Great people, and store. There is a military discount every third Thursday as well!

Thanks for jacking up prices so you can pay a cop to stand threateningly at the door. But we are only raising prices because of inflation says the lying business turning record profits. The 50 cent cash back fee is a nice little subtle F U to the customer too. Convenience and customer service? Nah we don't do that at Kroger brand stores.

People don't wear mask when it's a mandated order. State patrol wore it but the local police that guards here when the state patrol isn't, doesn't wear it. He cares too much about his own appearance and socializes with people that don't wear masks either. I wonder who is paying them? Fred Meyer or the tax payers?

  • 4/5 KORY S. 2 years ago on Google
Always packed, but have a wide variety of food, office products, animal products, gardening and much more. Customer service is amazing; I've never had any problems that couldn't be solved by staff there. Unfortunately, they usually just have a few isles open at a time during peak hours and the lines extend into the isle ways.
