I ordered the prime rib, medium rare with extra vegetables no potato, salad & iced tea. It was excellent! The prime rib had really good flavor, cooked perfectly. The "farm fresh" vegetables zucchini, yellow squash w/red bell pepper strips complimented the prime rib. The iced tea tasted freshly made. The hostess and waitress were very welcoming, polite and attentive. Overall, dinner tonight was a great experience.

The food was delicious. Our server, Richard, was so attentive and sweet. The place gave visiting Grandparents vibes, so very comfortable!! I loved it and will definitely be back to visit.

We don't know why we haven't been here for so long. But it was great. Service fantastic! Food was tasty and the price was very reasonable. The Dutch baby pancake with butter and lemon to die for❣❣❣ This is going on our rotation!👍😋🥰😘

Bottom line. Uninspired and on the bland side but executed well and that makes a huge difference for breakfast food. When you see a lot of older people at a restaurant, it's usually a sign of a few things, but the main draw on Elmer's in this location is that it lands its execution of the food. The food matches what you see on the menu pictures and it's consistent. The service is a well oiled machine and the place is packed on weekends. The food is not really seasoned, eggs and hash browns needed salt and pepper. The chicken fried steak, omelet as well as the cheeseburger could have used more seasoning and all seemed a little soft/could have had a crispy coating or bun, etc. The best item was the crepe with strawberry whip on it. The bloody Mary had a great flavor and did taste like it was made in house. I couldn't taste any alcohol in it though and wouldn't recommend it for the price. The kids menus with a toy mask in them and multiple pages of activities was amazing. It kept the kids busy just long enough before our food came rather quickly.

Excellent food and family friendly restaurant! Service was great and the Dungeness crab Benedict was tasty!

I’ve only had breakfast at Elmer’s multiple times so far and have really enjoyed it. They have the best bacon and other breakfast meats. The hash browns and potato cakes are tasty and the pancakes are really good! Their coffee is even decent and not bitter. The German pancake was like a glorified crepe but worth trying. We always ask for fresh egg scramble and they do a great job cooking them. The portions are large so I have taken half home every time! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Give it a try, it’ll surprise you! It sure surprised us!

On a whim, husband and I drove out for a lunch date. On Easter. We ended up at Elmer's, and got breakfast. It was great. Everything was cooked to perfection; wonderfully seasoned and nothing overcooked or undercooked. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Prices reasonable. Very highly recommend. Will return.

It's not terrible or anything. It's a nice and large establishment. The breakfast food was pretty bland. There was a 25 minute wait. On a lighter note, I really enjoyed the beer battered fish and chips. They were quite delicious.

Delicious food, great service, and amazing prices!! ONLY issue is the consistent long wait times... Unfortunately, this venue does not take reservations, which can make things rather difficult when attempting a simple meal here, when parties of 5,6,7,8+ can just "pop by." Leaving a simple party of 2 to wait an hour or more. Wish they made parties of 5 or more reserve tables ahead of time. That would make things flow A LOT smoother for the patrons, as well as staff I'm sure. Hopefully that is something to be considered in the near future for this business.

Kinda took a while to get our check, but overall, the food was really good (steak and eggs). The biscuits were the best on the taste. Eggs Benedict and/or Chicken Apple Sauce Crepes are something good to order also. The servers were friendly

I am not the type of person that tries new and interesting things on restaurant menus but I love a potato pancake. I had the potato pancakes and they were studded with onions, bacon, cheese and flavour. I really enjoyed them because of their crispy cheesy edges although I couldn't eat it all because they came with eggs and three sausage links. I also got a pancake on the side and it was a decent pancake. My husband got the crab omelette and it was stuffed with crab. He also said the hollandaise sauce was good because it's a lighter sauce than most other places serve. Our server was nice and friendly. She made sure the coffee was flowing and kept us updated on our order because they were pretty busy. I also appreciate their diverse staff and it was a very friendly and welcoming environment.

I can’t believe I’m just now discovering this diner! Excellent service. We loved both our meals and will definitely return. Both entrees are worthy of reordering. Reuben sandwich with coleslaw and the stuffed hash brown (breakfast). The biscuit, wow, is the star…reminded me of my mom’s homemade.

Great food and good service. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner the whole day, and they have a huge selection of all 3 meals. This is a decent location if you have a big group. The atmosphere is a bit bland, however, as it seems they are focused more on the food and less on being esthetically pleasing.

We both ordered the prime rib. It came with mashed potatoes and squash, garlic bread and a couple of onion rings. He had his steak medium rare and had the clam chowder. My steak was medium well and I started off with the house salad. He had an Amaretto and I had a margarita on the rocks. At first I thought the size of my drink was on the small side, but it was quite strong and I ended up being glad about the size. Our meal came with au jus and horseradish. Other than the onion rings being a bit too crunchy we were both happy with our meals. The service was very good and the environment was clean and inviting. The prices were comparable to other nice establishments. I'd happily return.

Came in for a nice quiet breakfast, and was blessed to have the Bartender/Server Kyle. Let me just say he was truly a great soul. Great conversation and Service, I would absolutely come back just to experience him again. Thank you Kyle for being you, your wonderful inside & out. Continue to shine your light.

I had the egg white and veggie bowl and split the ligonberry crepes with my dad. Both were so delicious. Great service and atmosphere too! It's usually very busy on weekends for breakfast, and for good reason. I'll definitely be returning.

Haven’t been to Elmer’s in years as the one I grew up with had closed years and years ago. Upon spending a couple days down south for work my co-worker and self fell upon Elmer’s and were ecstatic to have some good’ol early morning diner food. This way have eating has become few and far between since my home area “the east side” becomes more and more bougie and pushes out the small business and nostalgia spots we grew up loving for condos and upper class steak houses. We both. There’s nothing better for two big boys than an over served beeping load of breakfast full of eggs to your liking, toast of your choice, and some protein. You know I gobbled up that country friend steak like a fat man running from a diet. I was so GOOD! Day two I tried something different and went for the German pancake which I actually had never heard of but was basically like a crape but fluffier and cooked into a bowl shape. The lemon drizzle made this thing taste like a lemon bar and it was an excellent complement to eggs and sausage on the side. On to the service. Both days were attentive and well done. An older gentleman on day one was super kind, fast, and on top of it. Day two a lovely woman with a WOW of a smile kind, and fast. Loved the nose hoop too. Note that this place both days had a huge company event so these workers catered to that and kept up with us tiny tables. Thanks for the nostalgic Smorgasbord!

Really disappointing food but my vanilla cappuccino was on point. I ordered the German pancake and Tillamook cheese potato cakes which had no cheese lol but at least the service was good and we had a good time having lunch there.

Went there for a nice brunch with my best friend. We had a nice time, food was very good and felt very nice to relax. Thumbs up to Melissa. Thank you for your service and keep up the great work. 😊 Gotta make sure to try the potato 🥔 cake 🎂next time. Daily's The Rancher Breakfast is nice, you get 2 eggs 🥚, bacon 🥓, "The Works" hash browns that has smokehouse bacon 🥓, onions, and cheese 🧀 served with sour cream.

Waiter was very friendly and gave us good suggestions. I had the chicken fried steak bowl and it was delicious. Tried a German pancake for the first time, and loved it.

Comfy breakfast place. Extensive menu. Our server was great and kept the refills coming. Eggs were cooked medium. Cozy atmosphere by the fireplace on a cold 30°F morning. Highly recommended 👍

This was my first time at Elmer's and I'm absolutely coming back. I had the french toast, which was easily the best french toast I've ever had. It was incredibly fluffy, and the accompanying bacon strips looked like proper bacon instead of tiny strips of meat served. It also helps that service was excellent and proactive. They refilled my drinks without me saying anything and were extremely courteous. I will be returning as often as I can.

Good portions and delicious food options. When we went it was very busy, yet there was nothing to complain regarding service. We got a coffee, a hot chocolate, French toast and a vegetarian egg bowl. These came with some scrambled eggs and hash browns. Highly recommend. Great ambience to bring family!

Solid American style restaurant. Lots of all-day breakfast options and some dinner choices as well. I've only been here once, so I can only go off of the one dish I had; the Chicken-Fried Steak Bowl. It was good. Pretty flavorful and well cooked. The portions are decent and I ended up taking some home. Chill environment and good service.

This was our first time visiting Elmer's. The restaurant is large and clean, and the employees were friendly and very helpful. Their menu is large with a lot to choose from. Our server was an older man who was quick with menus, drink service, taking our order, and bringing our food. I had the Dungeness crab Benedict and my husband had a country fried steak breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee is excellent. We had a great experience and will certainly return soon! Thank you for having us!

The chicken fried steak had excellent flavor, and I really liked the hot biscuit with plenty of butter! The hash browns were decent. My wife had the sausage, bacon, and h bowl, and it was very good.

It was my first time at this restaurant, place was clean and well maintained, got seated very quick, our waitress Fernanda came right away, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, I wasn't sure which iced tea to choose, but she suggested to have unsweetened iced tea and just syrup on side, so I can mix as much as I want, it was very nice, my daughter got strawberry lemonade and it was very delicious (I am sure it made from fresh fruits), food came fast and was very delicious, we got patty melt, crepes with strawberries and German pancake, which was big enough to share. Very happy with our choice to visit Elmer's and definitely we will be back, highly recommend if you looking for a tasty breakfast all day place.

The chicken fried steak breakfast was good. The sausage gravy was proper, the biscuits were delicate, the steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, my medium eggs were just right, and the hash browns were crispy and flavorful. All of the flavors complimented each other as expected. Prices are a little on the high side. Before tip, it was over $100 for my family of four to eat breakfast. Service was in the slow side, but was ok. In summary, it was a good meal and I'd return for seconds.

We came here for breakfast. We ordered the ranchers breakfast and the potato cake breakfast. The portions were large but took a while to get. The service was okay and the building was clean.

Read previous reviews so we gave it a try! Everyone who gave reviews on pancakes, bacon...overall quality of the food being amazing is spot on! My husband had the French toast which was a huge portion...loved it. I opted for the Avocado Tomato Benedict! Our 10 year old had the mac and ham from the kids menu with the fries and was very happy with the quality of both! We ordered a half order of pancakes just so we could try to see what the "fuss" was about....they didn't disappoint! Came hungry, left full....with "leftovers". (We didn't take the left overs as its breakfast food and we weren't going home immediately) They give good size portions.

4/5 Dungness Eggs Benedict - chunks of crabmeat topped with bacon and a poached egg. Hollandaise was creamy and delicious too! German Pancakes - first time trying these pancakes and they were incredible! Think, with crispy edges and were delicious topped with lime juice and butter or the 3 Berry compote.
