Food was good. Decor was pleasing but that can't hide the sewer smell. Not sure where that is coming from but every time someone opens the door you get a whiff of the unpleasant smell.

The location says don't leave anything in your car; the food presentation tells you it's a super nice place; the taste confirms it was money well spent; the furniture says eat and get the hell out. I loved the steak, and it's probably the best I've had in recent or distant memory. But chairs in a prison visiting room might be more comfortable. It just seemed a little mismatched for the quality of the food and service. Great to see a good place to eat in Kent though.

This restaurant has so much potential but still falls short! As long as you don't mind going all the way to Kent you will get some good bbq. Unfortunately I don't know what their main food cuisine is. Mexican, American, Japanese; it has a little bit of all of them. Though it has both indoor and outdoor seating areas, neither were really comfortable. Inside was way too loud, dark, smokey and hot while outside though I can't quite put my finger on it it just wasn't right either. Now, in an effort to be transparent, my wife has been here before and she stated that usually the air conditioner is working and they don't leave the doors open for circulation. I think something may have also been wrong with their circulation because while you were inside something stuck in your throat causing you to cough. Everybody in my party felt the slight tickling of their throats causing them to cough. Though the food was above average, I expect more for a $120 steak. How about you get the potato for free. Now, the silver lining of all of this was the service. It was excellent!!! Everyone here was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. When I receive this level of service I generally will tip handsomely. However, when a restaurant automatically adds in gratuity then on principal, I will not add additional gratuity. In this case, it hurt the service staff as the automatically added gratuity was 19%. I felt that the service was worth at least 25% but based on the of tipping what the service was worth. I did not tip additional over the forced 19% gratuity for the simple fact that if the service had been bad, the restaurant would have still added 19% gratuity. A gratuity should be a reflection of the customers. Pleasure of the dining and service experience.

We were here for lunch with friends. Sat outside but major problems with flies. Our first time dining here. Wowza! When the plates came out we were stunned by the portions of carne asada! Our friends showed us some amazing dishes! Their guacamole was delicious! I really enjoyed their rice too as well as soo many other things. I was happy to have experienced this place. The drink menu was different and a pleasure to see some different items to try. We had plenty to take home and use for additional meals! The statue at the entrance is freakin gorgeous!!

Amazing food. Prices are well in order for what your ordering. Local ingredients for American raised wagyu, salmon. Appetizers are well priced, rustic, and we're very enjoyable. Jordan, our waiter was great to speak to and very informative. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Make sure you do a reservation, don't do the online- just call it's faster and times not shown online are available in my past experiences. Depending on how you like your steak, order one (or two) levels below what you normally order -example if you like Med-rare, order Rare for sure! The steaks come on a sizzling hot plate and the steak can be cut and continues to cook. Bake potatoes fully loaded are great! Yes, you can spend a good amount of money here. We found that the $40 Australian Wagu at like 14oz (I believe) has been amazing!! The only complaint I truly have is that the parking situation (or lack there of) is horrible. You wouldn't think of such an awesome place in the location it is at.

Cannot beat the flavor of the food here. Excellent food with generous portions. The atmosphere is also very cool. Dressed up or dressed down both fit in. Went to dinner on 7/7. Glad they take reservations! Our server was distracted by something (as was the manager), therefore not very attentive. Not trashing them for this, but "the stage" should never allow customers to hear some talk and rustling about internal issues. I get it, workplace problems happen, but keep them transparent to customers. Will definitely go back when next in the Kent area.

We love coming to this restaurant, not only for the delicious food, but the customer service is amazing! Make sure to make a reservation because the place gets packed. This time we ordered the wagyu salmon, jalapeño poppers, bone marrow (sooo good) and the fresh made guacamole!! They also serve a set of 4 different salsas to enjoy with your entrees! The sangria was delicious too!

Excellent customer service, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and drink. I wish they open a place in CD Seattle. I love going here unfortunately it is a bit of a drive for me from Seattle so I come here once in a while. If you live in the area and looking for a favorable place with a reasonable price Asadero Prime is the spot.

I love this Asadero! The pictures of their decor don’t do it justice to their personal style. We would recommend making a reservation in advance, but on this trip, we went on a whim and sat at their general seating table. Their food is phenomenal. Here’s what I had: A cocktail with tequila and mezcal-I didn’t catch the name of the drink, but I have the photo! Smoky, fruity and not too sweet. Their guacamole with bread and tortillas. The guacamole has a nice limey bite! Their stuffed jalepenos-who doesn’t love bacon and cheese? Their chicken-complete with pineapple. It tasted juicy and acidic in the right way. It was huge! I took some home :) The salsas that accompany all their dishes are perfectly complimentary. I favor their spiciest, but they all work well together.

Our favorite steakhouse: my wife and I love coming here for date nights, as one of the very few places I feel happy ordering a steak. Excellent cuts to choose from in a low lit but warm location, their house special platter is also a ton of food creating excellent leftovers. Drink menu is limited but nicely done, however that’s not the reason to come here. Having a cut served with a hot stone to cook your bites to your preferred doneness might not be everyone’s desired experience, but if you like the idea it’s worth the visit.

Just gonna talk about the atmosphere first. We went there for my dad's birthday and the first thing we noticed was it was so dark inside even though it's bright outside in the middle of the day, in summer. I mean, i get setting the mood or something, but even my dad commented how dark it was inside to the point that he couldn't read the paper menus. Please consider making it a tad brighter. Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made good suggestions. Food wise? everything we had was delicious and an experience. I never had bone marrow, and i must say what a delicacy. It was a great visit all in all and we were fulll!

Best Carne en su jugo I've ever had here, in the States. I can't stop thinking about it! The combination of fruits they bring by to infuse your water, is an amazing touch. I was thoroughly impressed! The guacamole was also on point. I will be back, very, very soon.

Buenisimo! This place was delicious, well presented, and great ambiance. The only thing that was lacking was the level of presentation from our waitress - not sure if she was having a bad day but service wasn’t the best. Meat was cooked fabulously, well seasoned and kept us wanting more. We didn’t get any drinks but we saw other tables and they looked so good - this was one of our regrets, especially the horchata which comes out with a cinnamon stick and looked homemade. Flavors and salsa were fire 🔥. Reasonably priced for what you get. Overall this place was on point! Thank you for a great lunch!

We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs and requests. The atmosphere was modern yet comfortable. When they served our water, they also came around with a board of different garnishes to choose from, such as lemon, orange, and cucumber. My only complaint was that it was very warm inside the restaurant. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back again.

Asadero Prime sat my last minute party of 5, on a Saturday afternoon, with no reservation, immediately! Our server, Kendall, was cheerful, knowledgeable and prompt with our service. The appetizers and main courses were delicious and perfectly prepared. We will definitely return!

Good food and loved their homemade tortillas! Quaint little place. Nice little outdoor seating area. A little bit pricey but I have to recommend them.

Limited parking spots in the parking lot so we parked on the side. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill. I love the hot plate grill experience the most :)

Not many vegetarian vegan options. Only one type of salad dressing that wasn't very good. I don't eat beef or pork so the options of chicken or fish weren't many. They forgot to bring the lemon and lime and orange out that they offer for your water until almost the end of our meal, and it was to another table and we just decided to ask the waiter that was carrying it and the gentleman was nice to us and said of course but he was somebody else's waiter. Although she wasn't super rude, I don't think our waitress liked us very much. She tried to hide it with common work kindness but every soda refill I had to ask her for. Once I was waiting to ask her something and I saw her see me and she just turned the other way. I was somewhat disappointed because this restaurant was suggested to us as a gift for our anniversary. They said it was very high class and amazing, that we would love it. But I feel like my observation and experience of the visit. I don't rate it as high class. You Don't need to really dress up to go here. The restaurant, according to the prices that you are used to spending on your meal, might be a bit expensive. Anywhere from $19 to $65 for a dish depending on what you want. The hard shell chicken tacos were not that good. The flavor was okay but the homemade corn tortilla tacos were awful. I've had better. I had to nearly rip them with my teeth. There was no flake. No break off in my mouth. No these really are fresh. They were awful. The salad was nasty. The greens were just mostly those spiky stringy greens in the salad. The best part of my meal was the salmon. I've never had Char-Grilled salmon like that!! Oh my Goodness, it made the whole visit worth it. It was a smaller piece even though they called it king orca salmon, It was not king orca's size. It was a sliver of salmon that tasted amazing. The broccoli was not really done, There were too many burnt char ends of it and they had a lot of Parmesan cheese on it and I can't do cheese or eggs so, that part. Overall, since we were celebrating our anniversary, I would have to say that it was a nice place to go but it wasn't what I was expecting from the reviews I had gotten.

We had a great experience at this local Mexican steakhouse. The atmosphere/ ambience was spectacular, you can smell the smokiness or the grill even before you enter. The staff was very nice and provided great service. Food was delicious there and it was equally delicious even when we took it back home. Overall we had a lovely dinner date. Would come back and recommend to our friends and family.

I love this steakhouse! They have a lot of delicious steaks and mexican dishes that are so flavourful! My favorite one is the Zabuton Wagyu. I usually eat it with guacamole and the delicious sauces that they have. I wish they offer tortillas with the Zabuton Wagyu, but unfortunately, you have to order them separately. I really like the atmosphere but I think it was very dark. It would be nice if the restaurant had more illumination. I also recommend the carne asada and the papa loca!

Very busy place so make reservations by phone and enjoy any wait times because the food is fantastic. Our teens got carne asada and chicken quesadillas while we had La Carne Asada Wagyu and New York Strip Wagyu. We thought we might needs sides to share but ended up taking most of that home with part of our late lunch: Arroz Crema de la Abuela, Toritos (stuffed jalapeños), and Papa Josper (giant filled baked potato). I treated myself to La Catrina from the bar. It arrived with a fresh fruit and carnation garnish in a glass, not a smoking skull, but my disappointment was quickly replaced with bliss as I took a long sip. We ate on the covered patio next to patio heater and were quite comfortable but would recommend warm pants or leggings under a skirt as the heat was primarily table up. The air was fresh and preferred over the char smells from the open kitchen inside, although the inside atmosphere looked very nice. Special delights included lime avocado salsa that my avocado hater adored, a fine chimichurri, a perfectly cooked nopal (cactus pad) with a delicate flavor and slight crunch. Highly recommend for a special steak or carne asada, and a special lunch or dinner out.

An amazing little find. Great food. Great service. Outdoor seating was plenty warm and comfortable. Ready to go back for more!

We came here for dinner and the place was still packed on a Wednesday evening. We did not make reservations-and were seated outside on the patio. It wasn’t too bad-there were plenty of heat lamps. Our waiter was patient and so nice. The Manager even came out to talk to us. Our food was good! We ordered margaritas-we tried the traditional and guava margaritas. Both good. The carne asada wagyu was good-the steak was tasty and tender-was not a fan of the sausage that came along with the dish. The Prime Carne con Chile was delicious-and surprisingly the cheapest on the menu. Most dishes were $30 and up…

Great Experience! If you want to sit inside do plan to make a reservation but we are so happy we didn’t so we had the experience sitting outside, next to a fire pit. Patio is covered as well with heat laps, our waiter was amazing and manager even checked up on us. Food was very good and cannot wait to go back, one of my top favorite restaurants in town!

*Call for reservations - don't trust the online system.* The food presentation was great and the portions were larger than we thought they would be. If we had shared some of our plates, we might have actually had room for dessert. Maybe next time - we do want to try more of the menu! The atmosphere is trendy and wants to be upscale, but we had two tables of different sizes pushed together for a family of 5 and one of the tables wobbled; that kinda brought our expectations down. Service was good, but seemed a little stretched - he did a great job when we was there. Some of our family had a really hard reading the menu, with the very dim lighting - they didn't have service on their cell phones, so they used the paper menu and had to use the table candle (fake, battery powered) to read by.
