My family and I visited the Fall City Wallaby Ranch in late April (2022). When I called up about a month ahead to make reservations, Rex was more than cooperative, letting me choose whatever time slot I so desired, which was considerate since we had quite the itenary (we are from San Diego). When we arrived we caught a glimpse of the wallabies. My husband and son didnā€™t know what we were doing so this was really exciting for them (not that it wasnā€™t for me too). Rex is fun, the wallabies are fun, the entire experience is fun- while following the rules; if you donā€™t like having fun or if you think the rules donā€™t apply to you- then donā€™t come here. There is a lengthy presentation and Q&A before you meet and greet with the wallabies. The presentation is Rex sharing his knowledge and accomplishments of being papa to these fuzzy babies, so be patient and respectful. When we met with the wallabies, it really was one of the most amazing experiences. Keep in mind, there may be more people in the time slot you choose. Afterwards, we actually spent a few hours chatting with a lovely couple from our group. Anyways, canā€™t say enough about this place, we had a blast and we wish to visit again. Thanks Rex, youā€™re the best! Helpful Tip: Dress appropriately, with weather and setting in mind- you will be in the barn for the presentation and outside with the wallabies.

Where else in the US can you drive 30min from a city to a Wallaby ranch?? My husband and I just visited for July 4th weekend and it was such a charming, wonderful, and educational experience. Turns out we both actually know very little about kangaroos so the video introduction we watched was really fun and informative. The owner clearly cares about his animals and is very knowledgeable (definitely bring any questions you can think of because he will enthusiastically answer everything). You can tell that he puts a lot of thought into caring for the ranch and into making these large group experiences memorable for every single visitor. Everyone has a chance to take personal photos, feed the roos, and pet them! I also canā€™t believe how clean he keeps the property. The animals are so happy and relaxed. Itā€™s beautiful to see. If folks take the time to read the website and do a little research, setting up a time for a tour is actually really easy and straightforward (I would call during reasonable business hours - pacific time). The owner does a lot to make sure he can accommodate as many peopleā€™s schedules as possible, so itā€™s actually a little infuriating to see the recent spate of entitled 1-star tiktok reviewers from people who didnā€™t get what they wanted or couldnā€™t be bothered to be patient. Definitely come for a visit if you want a safe, educational experience and - do remember that this ranch is maintained by a very passionate, kind individual who really cares about his kangaroos. This isnā€™t a circus act and itā€™s a group experience where everyone should be able to learn/enjoy *together*.

My wife and I visited today for an afternoon tour and had a fantastic time. The guide is friendly, funny, and charismatic, and wants to make sure everyone learns neat things about kangaroos (we learned a lot and loved it). We got to pet and feed several very friendly and adorable wallabies, and would easily go again. Children can absolutely attend, but they need to sit through the educational portion and cannot run during the interactive portion (scares the animals). Please donā€™t let recent 1 star reviews deter you. This place recently went viral on TikTok and as such, the ranch is being overwhelmed day and night with requests from so many self-centered individuals who forget what a real human interaction is like. The owner is not trying to run a corporation built off of tours, he is sharing his passion and love for these amazing creatures with the world, so people need to stop being so entitled. We came from TikTok too, but are trying to do our part to combat the nonsense. This was a part of our first trip to Seattle, and would say this is a must do activity. Call the owner at a reasonable PST hour, about 1 week in advance (not too much farther out than that if a small group), and kindly ask for a tour. Expect to talk to a person with a personality and a life, not a customer service drone whose sole purpose is to satisfy you, specifically.

Rex is so cool, passionate, and warm-hearted. We loved our experience and can't wait to go back. The program is all about learning as much as you can about these beautiful creatures, and since the video is so packed with information, there's hardly any questions left to ask after it is over. The wallaby Kangaroos and so adorable, and one of them was especially sweet (forgot her name), and the Red Kangaroos are very calm (no one got kicked this time). Thank you so much for making it possible to see Kangaroos in the state of WA and for giving us a chance to feed them and love them šŸ„°

Don't let the first impressions of Rex scare you off. He is a great guy running a great operation. The education was awesome and the wallabies and Kangaroos were amazing to pet and play with. Rex got my wife and I in with a group of "golden girls" that made it that much more entertaining. Great job Rex. I will be passing on my experience with everyone.

I highly recommend this amazing experience! I have lived in western Washington for over a decade and had no idea this place existed. The education and ability to learn and have a real hands on experience with these beautiful creatures was beyond my expectations. The passion and devotion Rex has for his ā€œchildrenā€ is truly inspiring.

Wow! An experience that surpasses expectations at Fall City Wallaby Ranch! We visited from Houston and weā€™re staying at Salish Lodge. This looked like something fun for our 13 y/o daughter, so we stopped in expecting maybe to feed a kangaroo like at a zoo. Not so! This is an immersive experience that first teaches you 50 things you never knew about these amazing animals, and then provides an up-close-and-personal experience. Feed them, pet them, love themā€¦their bouncy personalities will win your heart in a second. Highly recommend!

On Sunday we went to the Fall City Wallaby Ranch. And this is just a wonderful place and an incomparable experience, you will not find such a place anywhere else. Some in their reviews wrote that it was difficult to sign up for a tour. My story: I wrote a respectful message to the owner on Saturday evening, because it was late (after 6 p.m), I apologized and asked if there was time for tomorrow, he replied that there were two slots, I chose and that's all. He wrote me a message ā€œsee you tomorrowā€, and tomorrow we went to look at the kangaroo. We arrived a little late due to traffic jams along the way, but we still had a parking space waiting for us. Nice. For all those who couldn't find their destination, READ THE SIGNS AND LOOK FOR THE RELEASE TO THE RIGHT HOUSE 35303. No need to reinvent the wheel here. ) The site itself is very bright and spacious, the film is useful and educational. How many people, hand on heart, read at least Wikipedia before such trips? And then you immediately put into the course of business. The owner is a wonderful man with an interesting life, he has a big family and he loves it very much. Kangaroos have a completely different attitude towards him, there is no negativity and abuse, this is first of all his family and those whom he cares about. Doesn't it surprise you when an Instagram star is made from a domestic cat? You can treat kangaroos with bread, they like it, you can take pictures of them and yourself with them, watch and stroke them, they have very soft fur. On the way to the top, you can learn a lot of interesting things about each of the kangaroos, they are all very different, not only in appearance, but also in character, demeanor, locally on the lawn, where they like it. In general, it took more than 2 hours in time, at the end you can go to the toilet, drink water and disinfect your hands, the price for an adult is $20. We will definitely come again. )

I had the most amazing experience at the ranch. You can tell Rex loves his wallabies so much and takes such good care of them. He is a funny guy and loves to joke around. Your best chance of getting a tour is calling ahead and leaving a voicemail if he doesnā€™t answer. He will call you back! Itā€™s best if you have a big group and no young kids. We went for my best friends birthday and Rex made it such an amazing experience for all of us and made the birthday girl feel so special. Just show him respect and treat the animals with care and you wonā€™t have any issues. I highly recommend!!!

This was such an incredible, unique experience just outside of Seattle! The owner is very passionate and shares his love of wallabies by offering tours of the farm himself. All of the wallabies were so soft and friendly and it was such a memorable interaction!

Amazing experience! Close to Seattle too. Rex is a great host! Learned a lot better than any petting zoo ever visited. This is like being invited into someoneā€™s home and getting to meet family.

Rex was awesome! We had a wonderful time and certainly learned so much! I would recommend the opportunity to be face to face with the most beautiful animals. It's a one of a kind experience. Rex is a kind and passionate person who takes care of his babies. We were honored to visit Fall City Wallaby Ranch!

A very special family friendly animal experience! Please make a reservation since this is a privately owned operation. Small groups make for a very enjoyable time with the wallabies and 'roos. Rex has a true love for these animals that can be felt with his insightful tour. A must see experience for anyone curious about these wonderful little guys!

Such a special place! Came as a group of 5 adults and we all had a great time. We learned so much about the animals and Rex made sure all of our questions got answered. The animals are so sweet and we loved getting to hang out with them! I loved that the educational aspect was the core of this experience.

To book just leave a message, he is very good about calling back. He's usually on a tour! When you arrive it's down a big hill on the right, it's easy to miss the sign. After the hill it winds down to some reserved parking spaces. He will meet you there in the parking lot and you'll first see an educational video (it's AMAZING photos and videos). Then you get to walk out and meet wallabies, pet then and feed them snacks. After that you meet the kangaroos, their fur is luxuriously soft! The animals are very chill with new people. They're just amazing! This is really a great experience I highly recommend!

I visited this little paradise yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday and had the most amazing time. Not only were the kangaroos and wallabies gorgeous and so so sweet, but Rex was funny and taught us so much about these amazing creatures. I left feeling more knowledgable and also enriched. Both a fun and indescribably moving experience. Truly magical!

Great weekend activity if you live in the area! He has a mix of around a dozen wallaby and kangaroo that are very friendly. He begins the tour with a very educational video and a Q&A - so this is more than a petting zoo.

This place is wonderful because of the welcoming owner (who is also full of jokes and always ready to answer your questions) and adorable wallabies and kangaroos. šŸ˜ We were able to find out about the animals' lives there, to feed them, and take pictures. Time was flying. Positive emotions only. If we are in Seattle again, we will visit this place again. Thank you!

My friends and I enjoyed the most beautiful and educational experience with Rex and his babies. Thank you for your time and for sharing your animals with us all. Iā€™m sorry for how difficult this season has been for you and hope we did not add to that stress. I will never for this experience! šŸ©·šŸ¦˜

My husband, two daughters and I went to the Fall City Wallaby Ranch on a Sunday! It was a wonderful experience! We just moved to the area and a Google search later found this amazing place! The education side of the experience is top notch and very interesting, we learned a ton! Then the interaction with the kangaroosā€¦..incredible! Hug, feed, touch, and love on these amazing creatures! The owner Rex is an absolute delight. He his highly knowledgeable and just a kind human, which is evident in his love for his animals. I highly recommend, and we will definitely visit again!
