I came for a compressor. Walking in I noticed k no o one around and all the self checkout was broken and that’s all there is now so there was a huge line of confused people. I walked up and down three times seeing no one. Finally started seeing people and they said they would call “the guy”. No guy showed up. 30 minutes in and 6 people and a manager later I finally go “the guy”. He was a little snarky and then he forgot the combo to unlock them. He asked if I wanted the one that was several hundred more and I said at this point I’ll take what I can get it’s for work and I need to get back. Long story short, for one simple item I waited 52 minutes paid 200$ more and got zero customer service even from the manager. I would recommend going to a different lowes or Home Depot. Super bad experience…

Employees are good but once again a revolving door for management. Finally had someone with common sense and Mr Oliver decides to throw him to the curb just like all the other managers that have come and gone in that place. New store manager needs to pull his head out of his rear. Mr. Oliver is running that store into the ground. What a joke. I'll stay away from this place.

I am a long term customer at this Lowes. I can tell you that customer services has dwindled over the years. Today I went to return some items. There was 2 customers ahead of me in the line. The return clerk served them and went on to take her sweet time to clean the area, tidy up things, bantering with her colleague before assisting me. I stood there for a good 5 minutes before she called me up (there was no one after me). Could have waited to tidy things and talk with her coworker AFTER she helped me. Her priorities were not straight. Also, don't go on weekends. There is the longest line at the self-check out, and only 1 register open by the lumber aisle. They opened up another 2 registrars due to the backlog and had to write receipts by hand for every customer purchase due to register malfunction. I waited in line for 40 minutes today to purchase 1 item. All in all this place will have everything you need, but don't expect the workers there to give you any attention.

We paid $3000+ for a washer and dryer. When the items were delivered, the guy couldn’t hook up the dryer because he had the wrong type of hose. The washer was severely damaged on one side so we did not accept it. I called Lowe’s and explained the situation and the guy told me they would not be getting a new washer in until Friday (current day was Saturday) and he would have it delivered on next Saturday. I was a little disappointed but I understand things happen so I said that would be fine. We waited until Friday to hear when the washer would be delivered but we got a call saying the washer did not come in so they are pushing the date to next Saturday. Enough is enough. I went to the store and spoke to Jorge in appliance section. After some yelling and curse words from me, Jorge assured me my washer would be in on Tuesday and they would deliver it in Wednesday. I received a call that Friday evening telling me I had a delivery from Lowe’s coming in the next day (Saturday) between 7-11am. The delivery guy called me at 7:30am and said he would be here in 10 minutes. I thought that was great but when the delivery guy came, he handed me a hose adapter and laughed and said, “sorry dude, this is all there is”. Really? Lowe’s can’t handle the simple task of delivering a washer and dryer? What a joke! I will never buy another appliance or large item from Lowe’s again. Home Depot, Costco, Amazon, or Sam’s Club is where I’ll go and where I’ll recommend everyone I talk to go. This was pathetic! And don’t blame COVID! The service just sucked! Then to top it off, when I was at Lowe’s I saw them trying to sell the same damaged washer to the public at a discount. BTW, that washer did not originally cost cost $1349! It was $1098. Lowe’s is a billion dollar company, so quit trying to rip people off!

I went to a register and the guy told me he was not a cashier. But then turned around and rang up other people. He sent me to self check out to have the lady there help me when I went to her and I explained that was Instacart tax exams. She said she could not help me and sent me the customer service. I stood in line at customer service, and the lady asked me what I needed and I told her I was trying to purchase this for Instacart and she said to go to the register. I think they need to figure it out where Instacart shoppers are supposed to check out at and maybe put a sign up so we’re not having a waste time running around trying to figure out how to get our orders done.

Lowe's has become one of our go-to stores for all household items. We recently purchased custom blinds for our entire house including installation and the price was incredibly Low compared to competitors. We were extremely happy with the results. The staff at this Lowe's are very friendly and helpful and take the initiative to ask if you need any assistance with finding items. We also purchased a Samsung Refrigerator and got a wonderful product at a great price with a 3-year extended warranty. It's also nice the store has a public restroom for those long shopping days. We love the reserved parking for Veterans!

I've been waiting since June 14th for my windows I've called over 6 times I've gone to the store twice and Lamont still fails to call me back leave a message and confirm that he has found and/or reordered windows that were lost or sold that I had already paid for. Apparently this store manager is not much of a manager I can't imagine how people can spend thousands of dollars and get no response bonds on their orders. Not to mention the store charged me twice for all the windows a total of $3200 that I had to get ahold of my bank to get back I don't know what's going on with this store but it definitely shakes my confidence and feels like people are running scams out of it.

I have called the Lakewood store three separate times today trying to talk with an employee regarding which refrigerators are available in the store for purchase today. Mine is not working properly and I need a new one ASAP. I have been on hold over 15 minutes each time and then the call hangs up. I tried to look online to see what is available but that isn't accurate because I bought one from Tacoma which said free pickup today and when I got my order email they said it wasn't available at that store. Before I drive all the way to Lakewood I would like to confirm that what is listed on the Lowes website is accurate by speaking with someone who is actually there!

Great friendly employee throughout the facility. Was looking for a specific part and asked for assistance. The person who I saw didn't not know the part and asked another employee for assistance. Guided us to the right area. Great! Appreciate the tour. Many Vetran work here, and they love the environments. We chat for a while and recommend the right part for the security door lock 🔐 for the summer for windows and sliders. Thank you, Greg and Grant. Made my home security, even if I don't expect it to happen.. Made a great set of keys made for my grandchildren for their safety. Lowe's made my day completely ❤️.

Update: We have made several visits over the past week. These visits have changed my mind. Listening to a male employee argue with the Pro Desk about who should help a customer who was asking for help, loading items was evidence of the management style at this store. I dont work there, but I was about to go help this customer. Absolutely ridiculous. Entitlement employees should be mentored (or fired on the spot) in the service industry. Management should be on the floor mentoring when you have this kind of employee enteraction going on. Original opinion: Very impressed. Lots of clerks to help out, and we were asked by several of them. Very helpful.

Oh my goodness… I bought a “NEW” Craftsman Pressure Washer from Lowe’s and they gave me a USED one. It is dirty, scratched and missing an attachment. I cannot believe that any company would sell a used and dirty product as new with disclosing that it’s used. Unreal. Never going back to this store. Customer service didn’t even apologize or acknowledge that this is HORRIBLE business practice. What a scam.

I was very disappointed with the service at this Lakewood Lowes. All I will give you is one visit which was enough and you can decide from there . I was looking to buy a new grill for my backyard. As I entered the facility, no one acknowledged me or said hi as I walked in. I get to the section with the grills, and no associate is in sight. I walk around looking at the grills, and still no one comes to see if I need help. So I go to find an associate and I ask her if she can help me . The female associate helps me find the last grill in the store . I get the grill from the back, and the box is damaged in multiple places , I asked the female associate if the damage was only on the box or if it went through to the grill itself. She responded no and assured me that there was no damage to the actual grill. So I trust her and buy the grill , I go home and open the box, and surprise, surprise, the top of the grill has a huge dent , and the back side of the grill is all bent where the straps were. I pack it up and bring it back to Lowe's. Returning the product was also a terror, I bought the grill in cash and they didn't have enough money in the till , so I had to wait some more since I didn't wait in the line long enough , only one associate st customer service at the time of my return. While waiting , associate tells me she needs to see the damage , so I pull out the pics on the cell phone so she can see the damage and says , oh yeah that's bad , I can see the damage clearly. After more time has passed a floor manager finally approves of my refund , then asks if she should hold on to the cash so I can go get another grill. NOPE!! I grab my money and left . I won't go back and I don't recommend that store at all.

This Lowe's location is awesome. I've never had to wait in line. there is always someone to help you and answer your questions. And so far everything I've needed has been in stock. love this place for my home improvement needs.

I like this store. So much more of a welcoming environment compared to their orange logo rival. They treat women with respect here and the employees are always available to help. I also really like the way they have this store organized and clearly labeled. There have been very few times that I couldn't find what I was looking for by myself.

Thank you to the Puyallup and Tacoma Lowe's for making this trip 1000 more times pleasurable than our last experience, for listening and pointing us in the right direction and for just caring a little bit! Sure made a difference:)

Not enough employees waited over 30 minutes for help finally got someone someone that couldn't do the sale on a clearance item found who I thought was a manager and told her my husband's been waiting for over 20+ minutes she then decides to go through her schedule to see whose working instead of just helping I get she's someone important or whatever but because had to wait so long we decided not to buy a new fridge new washer and new dryer. You lost a decent sale and customer because your lack of help from any employee.

We ordered a stove a MONTH a ago. They've canceled twice with no reason. Two no-shows for two different delivery days where the window was 9am -9pm (so TWO missed days of work for me). Finally show up on the 3rd time. They install wrong and it blows. Have to schedule them to pick up the bad one. They pick up the bad one, tell me a new one is on the way. I never hear from anyone again. I am shook to my core how Lowe's has messed up every single step of stove delivery and installation.

Good deal on great items. Everybody is SUPER friendly. I don’t think I passed one employee that didn’t stop to ask if we needed assistance and appreciated us for shopping at Lowe’s. Good job, management!

The people at the olympia store are amazing Albaquee, Melissa, Stacy, Eric, John and so many others keep me coming back for almost all of our projects needs. If it were not for this crew of people, Lowe's would not have my business.

Jorge at Lakewood WA Lowe's was amazing...best customer service ever! I was the 1st delivery of the day on the day he said it would be delivered and the delivery guys were fantastic! Took their time let me clean out behind where the old stove was, disconnected the cord...my son was right behind them pretty much and hooked me backup...he's an electrician! I just can't say enough what a good experience this was...they've got my business!

Beware!! Do NOT use this place to get appliances replaced/installed. The company they use (DRS) will take advantage of the unsuspecting consumer and dramatically overbill you. I recently went into Lowes on a Monday morning about 9:30 to make arrangements to get a hot water heater replaced. I had my eye on a $550 unit. Lowe's advertising claimed if you made a purchase prior to noon, you would get same-day installation, etc. They never showed up that day as expected. Their first strike. Secondly, when they finally called the next day, I was at work and finally agreed to still allow them to come to my place after work to replace/install. What's sadly telling is that when they told me the price of $2,500 and some change, I repeatedly asked the person I was speaking to on the phone for a breakdown because I knew the unit cost $550. They told me the price included removal, replacement, installation and bringing everything up to code, but still could not provide a breakdown. The guy showed up and was nice enough, but when he was finished, there was no "bringing anything up to code." All he did was replace and hook up the new unit. Since I had no breakdown, I'm guessing the "installation" of this unit cost about $2,000 ... for 2 1/2 hours of work. Appalling! There were really no upgrades to code. After some research on the matter, I found that the average price of a replacement here in Washington was about $1,200. You all can do better, and you can definitely find a place to do it cheaper. $2,000 to install??? Please learn from my experience. DO NOT have Lowe's or DRS install/replace anything!! You too will end up overpaying exceedingly!

Awful service. Slow; completely disengaged staff. Refused to look me in the eye at customer service desk. Wish I could give them positive feedback but I’ve been there over and over and every time I see complete lack of desire to help and excuses like “I’ve never seen the computer do this, the system is broken”

Stopped in to see if they had what we were looking for. No such luck. Did find some plants to add to my "garden". Employees we did come across were friendly and helpful. Store was as clean as it could be for a hardware store. 8-3-2022

Lowe's is a pretty decent store. The employees are always friendly and go out of their way to help. With a variety of diff. departments there is something you may just need , always. I chose to post this PIC. of my kitchen sink that flooded the whole kitchen, pantry and part of the garage, because this is what brought me to Lowes, they had all I needed to fix the sink though we needed a plumber to get behind the.wall to where the break was, Lowes helped tremendously.Highly recommended, but do price shop.

So, I only have two issues when I visit Lowe's: The first is that I spend more time looking for what I think I need than finding it. The second is that I wouldn't have the first problem if I didn't run into attractive men at Lowe's. Both problems can be resolved by me not shopping at Lowe's. But then I'd have a new problem in knowing I need stuff at Lowe's, I need attractive men who need stuff at Lowe's, and Lowe's still has plenty of attractive stuff and attractive men who like attractive stuff. In conclusion, I have two problems and Lowe's is a great place.

I switched to Lowe's for everything now that Home Depot limits their military discount to $400 annually. Lowe's maintained their 10 percent on just about everything, so why go to Home Depot anymore? Also, lately it appears that Lowe's has been better staffed. I haven't felt like I was waiting on help or checkout at all.

For the most part, it's a good place to shop. Customer service people are friendly and helpful. In the Lakewood store, the self check out was a nightmare. The person manning that area could of checked us faster then her running to each kiosk to help everyone trying to checkout quickly. She was great and very patient. It wasn't quick though.

Was shopping for something to help get rid /kill poison Hemlock and was having difficulty finding anything, this nice employee working spent about 45minutes helping me check items for the right item with the ingredients needed to handle the task, until we found it. He was such a big help and I totally was grateful. A few times other employees came looking for for him but he told them he couldn't because he was busy helping me and wasn't going anywhere because it was important to help me. I was totally impressed by his customer service and honestly it was the first time I've ever had service that made a difference in my shopping and whether I came back to shop. I left knowing that my purchase was going to help me with the task at hand.

I bought a brad nailer which was on sale and the perfect gauge I need. Since it was the last item I bought the displayed product. I found out it was the wrong gauge and specification. I was trying to replace the item with the correct product but they are charging me $100+ . I was trying to explain that their system was giving 2 different price with different codes. Candice who’s at the customer support don’t listen to us and making me feel stupid. I came home with completely wrong product or item that I had on my receipt. Someone needs to correct system to avoid customer spending unnecessary item due to their failure.

I used to love Lowe's. I was there several times a month for various projects and the staff used to be nice and helpful. Now they Dodge customers coming down the aisle and don't answer pages for customer assistance. With the price increases you would think they would be more interested in keeping their repeat customers. Seriously considering a switch to Home Depot. They have almost the same inventory but they are further from my house. The drive would be worth it if I can get assistance.

  • 1/5 Jennifer B. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely the worst customer service ever. They delivered me a vanity along with a sliding door. The vanity was broken. Kick plate busted in pieces and the sink all cracked. I have been trying to get them to help me get another one for over a week now. No one calls back when you leave messages or they just don't answer when you call. We are supposed to list our home for sale tomorrow with a remodeled bathroom and we can't.

01/2022 Not my usual location, but we found what we needed at a super price. Employees could be more knowledgeable of the products and their location in the store, but helpful nonetheless. Come check out this Lowe's.

I found what I needed after strolling around for 30 minutes with no one to offer assistance. I know, I know, "it's Covids' fault." No one to fill the positions, but yet they're not hiring according to a conversation I overheard from a potential employee asking an employee. I was looking for a multimeter fuse 10 Amp 600 volt rating, but all they had was 10 Amp 250v. So,I went to my trusting Amazon website and ordered what I needed. I know,I know they can not stock everything, and it's a supply and demand item.

This Lowe’s have the best selection and the best prices but the customer service sucks!!! Tonight I came in looking for a Christmas tree stand, three associates told me that they were out of stock, but the crazy thing is I looked online and it said they had 20 in stock. So after 20 minutes of walking around with my wife we found the Christmas tree stands that the associates were not aware they had🤦🏼‍♂️! And yes I gave them the product number! You guys have a great location and great selection just do a little bit better helping the customers

Expect to spend at least an hour waiting for help. The employees don’t want to help anyone because it’s not their department. The best thing they have going is their Assistant manager Blue. Blue is dedicated to making customer service great again. He is really the best thing Lowes have to keep that store going. I look forward to seeing the changes made with new management. In the meantime go to Home Depot.
