😐 It was very overwhelming! Walking in, so big, sparkly-colors! But...empty space, lots of products in multiple locations. Terrible customer service from every employee, and I know that because I had to interact with every employee just to find out they didn't have what I came there for. I'm a bubbly,... It was very overwhelming! Walking in, so big, sparkly-colors! But...empty space, lots of products in multiple locations. Terrible customer service from every employee, and I know that because I had to interact with every employee just to find out they didn't have what I came there for. I'm a bubbly, younger woman and I hope that's why they were so negative. Most of the other patrons were older and extremely introverted. Look what I made.

My visit today was short lived— I enjoy the items I purchased but will not return. Tami was beyond rude & short , I would have loved to come back and enjoy the wonderful beads that you have - such a great selection and most everyone else who helped was positive and pleasant but Tami’s customer service is beyond lacking, her manners and conversation are near bottom of the barrel and her short dismissive comments were not only unnecessary, they were mean spirited and cruel. She needs to be spoken to, reprimanded and possibly retrained on how to speak and handle business face to face with customers in a more positive , professional manner.

Shipwreck Beads has the widest variety of beads and related crafting materials of any store in the region. The prices are a little high for Hobby Crafters, but are of good quality. Definitely an amazing store, and a must-see if you're looking for something you can't find at other hobby stores.

Great spot for crafters. Rows and rows of beads and accessories. Great pricing. Well organized. Fun place to visit even if you're not into the craft.

I was always told to check out shipwreck beads by people in Tacoma. I never did it until now and I regret the 5 years I went without. This place is amazing and has anything and everything you would ever want for any project. Even my 16 year old son had a blast. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Except the lady helping with the needles that you have to pick out and have held for you at the counter. She was very cold and unhelpful. But it did not change my rating. I wish I still lived in Washington state so I can visit this place more often.

Great selection & knowledge! Be prepared to spend a few hours. Prices range from low to quite high but it's definitely a one stop shop

Had lots and lots of beads and that's great. However, they were out of sterling silver wire. They were also out of the sterling silver pins that I needed. They had some nice semiprecious stone beads behind the counter but I didn't feel comfortable checking those out. The lady behind the counter mirrored my every move as if she was guarding Fort Knox

I love the HUGE selection of beads and jewelry making supplies available here! The selection is so large that visiting the store can be a bit overwhelming Bringing a shopping list is helpful (I've gotten distracted and forget to pick up something needed for a project) The staff is very friendly and always helpful.

Since they have moved I'm very disappointed. Finding anything is impossible now, at the old show room you could search online and see where it was located in the store, now you just have to walk up and down every isle. I'll only buy online now but seeing the beads is usually important for me so it's unlikely Covid hasn't helped their inventory levels either so checking if the item is in stock is also important but might be incorrect also.

My favorite bead store they always have what I need at great prices. Most all of my findings for the earrings I make are purchased here

Love the store but not my bill when I check out. Lol 😆 Always find to many goodies. I could spend hours in there and still not see it all. Nice staff 👍

Went to this place many years ago and it was great. It is a ways away from my home so to travel there is a journey. I have been online browsing lately and the online site is not so user friendly. Prices seem to have gone up drastically.

This is one of my all-time favorite places to go. I absolutely HAD to bring my friend from Michigan here, they ended up loving it and we both bought so much stuff. Everyone is so nice and extremely helpful and I always recommend going here to all of my friends! See you guys again soon

HUGE! Something for every bead lover from beginner to expert. Just wowzer. You can spend hours there. They no longer have the little snack place in the new warehouse or a place to take a break, hope they do soon. Especially for those of us that are physically challenged. But amazing store!

I shopped today at their new location and was disappointed that their selection wasn't as good. The new location lacked the crafty feeling I always felt in the last 2 locations. I'm hoping things will improve and perhaps the selection.

Wow so many beads, a little overwhelming, but had a great time. Found many of the thing we were looking for. Helpful and courteous staff. We enjoyed our time there.

Give yourself plenty of time to explore this giant bead store. The selection is extensive and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I search the store online and write down the aisles and items I plan to buy or view, it saves time and ensures I don't get so distracted by all of the shiny items and forget what I plan to purchase.

I am traveling from out of town and read good reviews about this place so I figured I would stop by. Every person who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m just getting started on my bead work journey and got good suggestions. I would definitely come back. Also 15% off if you show your tribal card!

Great variety... the down side for me who does an occasional small project ...which is an upside for people who bead a lot... is the lack of variety loose individual beads... in small packages the choices are virtually limitless. The staff is so helpful and well versed in the knowledge of where the bead you describe is located...
