Outstanding patient service! Washington Orthopedic Center really does doctor appointments well. Great location, plenty of parking. Nice reception. Didn't have to wait long at all. I am fortunate to have Washington Orthopedic Center looking out for my injury. Dr Birchard is awesome. He is always a pleasure to see and always takes care of answering all of my questions and making sure I understand what te treatment plan is for my knee.

Nobody in town would bother to even look me. I am super grateful that this doctor, at least, allowed me to come in and sit down and talk to a professional, even if there was absolutely nothing they could do for me besides helping me take off my blood sodden shirts that I had been wearing for days since my initial accident. I was treated with dignity and respect, something I’m not always afforded.

Repeatedly attempted to file my claim through my personal insurance when I came in for an L & I claim. Spent all of 20 seconds being seen by a Dr who never asked what caused my injury, the nature of my work or any past medical issues. I was misdiagnosed after a one minute appointment and sent on my way with a bunch of insurance charges improperly sent to my personal insurance. I would trust a lemonade stand run by six year olds to provide better treatment.

Everyone was nice enough but I’m not confident in the care that I may receive. The 1st thing was my height, I’m 5ft61/2in tall they measured me at 5 feet even. Talking to the doctor and PA I was told it would take about two months for my surgery because my insurance is slow about approving things. I contacted my insurance and they sent the approval right away and when I called the doctor office I was told that it would be 3 to 4 months because of scheduling. It’s all very confusing to me.

We have had exceptional experiences at Wa Ortho and we are so grateful. The staff is friendly and competent, our appointments and approvals were done efficiently and most importantly we trust the plan of care that was provided. My 16 year old said she is more comfortable with Dr Dunda than any other doctor she’s seen. High praise!

Paid $35 copay to hear info I already knew and honestly spent 5 min w/dr. with nothing helpful to offer. Suggested another repeat of same scenario visit in 6 was, guess he wants another $35 copay to tell me he still has nothing he can do for me. Symptoms worse since surgery, nerve damage caused during surgery so pain is worse than before. I gambled and lost and now have to live with my choice. Can’t fix nerve damage.

The office staff is warm and welcoming. Office has nice set up for hospitality of coffee & Water. I think Dr. Bender has nice personality. I am giving 3 star due to fact, after second surgery of my finger, I still have constant throbbing pain and my finger looks deformed. In my personal opinion, the screw that was placed appears to be too big and anchored in an angle for repair of fracture. I had hardware removal due to fact that nerve pain never went away and I can feel the screw on the side of my finger that appears little bulging. I am not sure if I can recommend to go to him for finger surgery due to pain that never went away after surgery x 2. I am told there is nothing can be done and that I will have to accept the outcome as is. I appreciate this opportunity to provide my personal experience and the link.

Friendly and skilled staff & providers. Very pleasant atmosphere. Initially chose WA Ortho because they were 40 miles closer than where my insurance referred me for my broken arm. Such a relief that they agreed to see me on a self-pay basis. It turns out that their friendly attentive staff and apparent high level skills are just what I was looking for (in addition to being conveniently located.) I hope I don't need an orthopedic specialist too often, but if I do, it's comforting to know where I'll go.

Showed up to review MRI and was informed of options. Received bi-lateral injections on shoulders same visit. Second day now and so far the brief I received on recovery is correct. Thanks Washington Orthopedic Center.

I came here to see dr dujela(sp?) since I was dismissed at my previous dr. I don’t think I’ve been to such an upsetting dr appt before. Since everything was anatomically correct on my X-rays they really couldn’t pinpoint why my feet were hurting other than tight calves. I also felt the diagnosis for custom orthotics was wrong because I’ve tried that type before and they hurt my feet. He said I had tight calves but didn’t tell me what I should do about them or didn’t offer much of anything. Suggested to look into my back pain issues. Made no offerings that anyone from his office could investigate that for me. Upon looking at the website again it appears they mainly deal with injuries so it’s possible that I chose the wrong doctor/clinic. I wasn’t exactly dismissed at this clinic but it really felt like a “throw their hands up in the air” type of appointment. I thought they did mris on site but he didn’t even think an mri would show anything. I’ve got bone pain and severe foot pain thats chronic and worse with exercise, standing, and sitting, and all that was mentioned was inserts and new house shoes and custom orthotics. I asked about a certain condition and he said it was rare and I had to have another type of pain. Just try a little harder and investigate a little further is really all I wanted. I’m unsure if it was because of my insurance or what. I’m definitely underinsured. I wasn’t even offered a followup appointment. Front office was lacking but the lady was severely overworked and understaffed. The wait time to see the dr was extremely long-waiting room and once my referral was received - like I waited several months…once my referral was received I got a phone call acknowledging it but I had to be placed on a waiting list. Someone who came in after me got taken back before me. They seemed disorganized because people accidentally came into my room. And someone sounded sick. I waited months for this appointment and I got the impression that it was slow to get in at all. Though all of these things are minute compared to them/him not trying hard enough. Unless you have a true injury this place is not for you. I guess I will look into acupuncture or a chiropractor that’s not covered by my insurance.

Dr. Bender is an excellent physician who replaced my wrist with Aptis. He is one of two Drs in Washington that perform this procedure. It was not only successful but with minimal pain.

Was told the day of my appointment that they won't be taking my insurance in 2 months, so either I can pay cash or find another provider to see. This was for Carpal Tunnel, and it takes over a month to get things scheduled so I feel like they should have told me when I scheduled or called me before I traveled an hour and half away to tell me about the insurance change, at least given me a chance cause I really don't want to find another provider and start all over. Otherwise I will advise the staff was great! The office was very clean. It was only the insurance issue that really upset me.

Washington Ortho is a facility that I would recommend to anyone who cares about their long term care recovery. I felt Dr. Dujela listened to my background issues and found alternatives that provided me with alternatives that were far less invasive than I expected. I am thankful for my treatment. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly when I entered and exited. I thank them all.

Md who retired I trusted saw damage that needed surgery. Replacement md ordered injection which gave short relief. So 2nd MRI. Results non surgical if more pain then more injection. While there he reviewed new MRI but did not compare 1& 2 in front of me. And blew me off when I Mentioned 1 MRI findings.. I guess God healed me. Your md lost you future income. If I need Surgery it will not be in your hands.

Awesome doctors! Dr. Dujela is very direct and knowledgeable as well as personal. The only complaint I have is that my appointment was at 8 30 but I didn't get to actually see Dr Dujela until 9 30. A long wait time!

I saw a PA today that listened to my concerns, she reviewed all my xrays and explained what we were looking at, and we were able to make a plan of treatment going forward that addressed all my concerns. I was very impressed.

My first surgical follow-up appointment needed to be rescheduled after I was already at the doctor’s office. They made a scheduling error despite me confirming the appt on two occasions prior to it. Regarding my second follow-up appointment, I was waiting in the lobby for 15 mins past my scheduled appt time when the doctor casually walked through the front door. He wasn’t even in the office and ready to see patients on time. I purposely scheduled my appointment as the first one of the day because I have a busy schedule and he can’t even show up on time. So on two occasions they showed no consideration of other’s time. I will say the surgery went well, but the follow-up has left me feeling frustrated that they are not mindful that others have obligations and time commitments. If I can show up on time the doctor should too. It shouldn’t just be about what suits them.

Very good group! I highly recommend. Dr Dujela was thorough and took time to listen and ask questions based on my concerns and expectations . He then explained everything regarding my plan of care with options based on diagnosis and appropriate follow up treatmen and ensured I was not only informed but comfortable. This office is a well oiled machine. Everyone was very helpful and attentive in all areas. Thank you so much!

😠 Was very disappointed by the lack of care. The doctor saw me for about 5 min, didn't listen to the problems that I had. The doctor was pretty dismissive and I got the impression that he was treating me like I was drug seeking, which I did not even ask for any. I asked for them to combine an mri for...
