Not a bad gym, some equipment is outdated, but other equipment is newer, it’s a fairly small gym however and not a lot of room to use free weights and lots of wait time for some machines due to how many people are there and the equipment available. It would be nice if it wasn’t as expensive, I understand it’s hard to compete with Planet Fitness 10 dollars a month but the only thing stopping me from getting a membership is I don’t feel like you quiet get your moneys worth with the outdated and crowded areas. Very friendly staff and they have a unique way of allowing everyone to carry around their own rag and cleaner instead of everyone touching the same one.

Thrive has improved greatly over the years. Though on the smaller side, I definitely wouldn't describe it as a small gym. There is plenty of space to work out even during prime-time. There is a kids room there from 8-1 & 4-8 Monday-Friday and 8-1 on Saturdays. Great owner, staff and members alike.

Fantastic gym. staff very kind. Weekends are so empty and I rarely wait to use any equipment. I love the 24 hour benefit. The massage chair is great too.

It was my first time here! I live in Seattle. Took a body pump and step class. Instructor was amazing. Student in class were very friendly and helpful with equipment set up. Membership was affordable. I truly enjoyed the gym. Lots of ages which is what I look for in a gym. I loved seeing everyone working out independently and in classes. Will go back!!!

This is a nice gym. Staff is great. Unfortunately, this gym does get crowded. I’m aware that space is limited but it would be nice if they could expand and add additional racks at the very least. Came at 1:30 pm on a Monday and the weight floor on upper level was packed. Still a great gym if you can find a less crowded time of day to come.

I have been a member here for exactly a month, don’t get me wrong it’s a great gym but it’s a very small gym. There does tend to be a wait on machines, or if you go in there prepared to do a certain work out, you might have to switch it up and do something else or wait a bit, because the machines you plan on using are not available. A lot of times I’ve had to cut my work out short because it gets so crowded you can barely get on a machine, the floor space gets crowded as well so you can’t even work out there if you wanted to, but like I said, it’s an okay gym, it’s just really small.

Thrive is a good gym for patient people. It fills up quick and is not very big. There are typically wait times for using equipment. Two aspects that led me to switching gyms: 1. A LOT of seniors 2. Not much variety 1a. I have respect for the elderly, but they take so dang long and use this gym for social hour. Seriously, move out of the way and go talk about your afternoon plans elsewhere so that I can use the machine you’re using for your date. A gym is where you exercise your body, not take 10 minute social breaks in between sets. SUMMARY: Good and functional gym. The franchise owner is a hard worker and I admire his work ethic. If you’re not very patient and are more serious about your exercise this may not be the gym for you though

Affordable rate, has the equipment I am looking to use, has massage beds, decent locker room and a lot of other things I do not partake in like classes and training. I also want to mention during the hours I go, the other individuals who are there are respectful and friendly. I know that vibe you don't always get at every gym.

I have been going here for personal training for some time and it has been extremely worth my money and time. I work out with Desmond and he is not only an amazing trainer but also an amazing person. He truly cares about your growth, wants what's best for you, and will cater every workout to your needs. He is extremely knowledgeable about anything related to fitness and health and has helped me come a long way in my fitness journey. Cannot say enough good things about him and I recommend him to anyone looking into PT!

My daughter signed up online for the student membership. We arrived about two days after, and they had all her information. The process went well. They offered us a free consultation with a personal trainer and we scheduled it. The manager and owner were both amazing and welcoming. My daughter was very shy, but told me she was comforted by the friendliness of the people we were in contact with.

Very well equipped and has helpful personnel. The 24 hour access makes it even better. Their exercise maches are the best I have ever seen and used.

Thrive has been a great gym for our needs. The 24-hour access, wide open layout, good number of cardio machines and overall decent selection of weight machines have provided the base we needed. The Lacey location is clean and seems well staffed. The only downside that I can currently list is that the showers are not open during non-staffed hours. A real bummer when working out later in the evening.

Loved going here during my time living in Olympia. Paul and the staff are super helpful. The monthly rates are very affordable too and I loved the 24 hour access. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Great Local Gym. Been going here around a year now. I see a few negative reviews, and most mention the price, but there are several options to choose from to fit your needs. I use the 24 hour which is around $38ish per month, which may seem like a lot in comparison to planet fitness, but comparatively most people spend that much on fast food in a week. The price is more than adequate enough for how much time you should be spending here. The rest of the negative reviews are outdated, it used to be more crowded before they swapped out all the machines awhile ago, now there is sufficient room for everyone to workout. And while it can get crowded in the busier months like January and June, There's still always an open space to get into to continue your sets, Pretty much everyone that works out here is also very nice and are more than happy to have you work-in with them on sets if you just ask. Generally a really supportive and kind community as well. The place is kept very clean, and tidy, large variety of machines, and when things inevitably break, they are fairly quick to repairs. Staff is nice and the owner is very active in the community. Going after hours, I never have to wait for equipment to be available, its ideal.

Way too small. Absolutely no floor space for stretching or anything you need to do on the floor. Workers not always knowledgable, you get charged for freezing your account and it's not always staffed so you can't always call to do things ahead of time. Payments promptly come out on the first so if you have an emergency or accident you need to recover from you won't get your money back. No good gyms in Olympia/Lacey unfortunately. Gave 2 stars because the staff is nice. Gym and it's policies suck though.

Paul owns a great gym, that is family friendly with a positive atmosphere and environment. Excellent variety of workout equipment from beginner to expert.

Thrive Community Fitness has everything necessary to smash your fitness goals. There is space for full-on HIIT, plenty of cardio machines, and of course, the full spectrum of free weights, and cable machines. The equipment is in good supply, well maintained, and kept clean. The staff are friendly, always ready to help, and always ready to maintain order. The only excuse left is you. Get on it!

I have been a member of this gym for years and years. It has everything I need to have an amazing workout. The staff are so great. Anytime I've had any issues, it was worked out immediately. Bright, clean, safe, and friendly. What more could you ask for in a gym?

Friendly and clean, a nice neighborhood gym with a good sauna. So far so good!

This is a great gym with mostly normal people looking for a good workout. They have plenty of equipment and free weights. They have several personal trainers and offer classes. The cost is reasonable and everyone is nice.

Clean, small, boutique style private gym with lockers, showers and dry sauna. A great place to work out in the morning, at lunch or on your way home from work. Niche markets are the running community, families and active seniors. And, people looking for a more quality experience within a smaller community. The gym specializes by offering group classes, personal training, and a TV monitor on all cardio equipment. NOT a cookie cutter corporate box store with harsh decor, signs or flashy marketing. A true gem within it's community. #private_gym #yoga #spin_classes #dry_sauna #running_club

Hands down, the best gym I've ever belonged to. Every piece of equipment I need is there, it is never too crazy busy, the whole facility is consistently very clean and the staff are always super helpful. All for pretty dang cheap. Kinda sounds like a paid endorsement after I re-read that. 😂. But nope, I unfortunately had to let my membership run out awhile back and I was driving by and that's what I thought. Oh, and that I need to get back in the gym ASAP! #pandemicpudge
