Military personnel BEWARE. You are better off just driving the extra 15 minutes to base and working out for free. Me and my spouse have moved out of town and needed to cancel our base-level month-to-month plan. We tried to cancel over the phone, and they told us it was "impossible". My spouse then went in person to cancel, and they said that since we did not cancel 30+ days in advance we would still both be charged for next month. Not to mention the fact that we were so busy getting ready for our move we have not even gone into the gym for the last 2 months. If you are a military member or just like being in charge of your personal finances then I would avoid this place at all costs. There is a lovely, veteran-owned gym that is 24-hours called Whetstone Fitness, and it is a much better option. Give them a try instead! When we needed to cancel with them it was quick, easy, and they even refunded us for the payment that had just come out. If you don't believe me, just read the other 1-star reviews that are all from other Crunch members who have simply tried to cancel their memberships. Several members have had debts sent to collections that they weren't made aware of, and have even had legal action brought against them. One member cancelled all the way back in March, and was STILL being charged up until now, and had to put a stop-payment on the charge. Save your hard-earned money and AVOID this place. They are not military-friendly, and just want to come after your money.

This gym obviously doesn’t know how to utilize their billing and membership program. I had a membership with them and then needed to cancel in October of 2022. I was told I needed to go in physically to cancel, so I did, I signed the cancellation form and I thought that was the end of it. Fast forward to December I realized my credit card was still being charged. Luckily I saved a copy of my cancellation contract and I sent it to my credit card company and was able to dispute the charges. Now ABC fitness is Harrassing me to pay for back dates charges when I haven’t been to that gym in MONTHS. I emailed their customer service and finally heard back after 2 weeks that they can’t do anything and I need to speak with the gym itself. I am soooo frustrated with them at this point and was reading further that ABC will send the total to collections if not resolved. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM IF YOU PLAN ON CANCELLING IN THE FUTURE. TURN AROUND AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE STRESS.

I came in to cancel my membership in August and confirmed cancellation at that time with the rep at the desk. In January I discovered I was still charged for September - January. I have emailed multiple times with no response. I called and spoke with Amy the AGM in January who said they can see when I came in to cancel but the payment portion was not correctly cancelled. She told me that the office would not likely refund my $120 over payment because it was my responsibility to catch their error and it took me too long to contact them. I have spoken to another crunch location (Vancouver) who’s manager said the facility Olympia manager, Scott, is able to do a refund on site. Still I have gotten no response from this location and no refund. *Many* other clients have reported a similar experience with fees continuing to be charged following membership cancellation.

I have recently only attended Cody's spin class, and worked out a little on my own at the machines. Cody's class is awesome. He's a great instructor. He inspires you to get after it. He's not hard on you if you can't keep up, but he pushes you to give it your all. I really enjoy his enthusiasm and charisma. The gym is great, overall, but I think it'd be better if there was a bathroom at each end of the gym. Also, there aren't many classes offered on Fridays or Saturdays. Only 2 each day. Another thing that irritated me is that we were encouraged to sign up for the $29.99/mo plan because my "guest" could enjoy all the benefits (classes) as I do. Well, we went to attend our first class together, and they told me my guest isn't allowed the same privileges as the main person. What a waste there.

The gym has not been cleaned in months. The floor and machines are covered with months worth of dirt and dust. Fabric on some of the benches and machines are torn. The paper towel dispersers are often empty. The Manager seems to have plenty of time to workout, but not pick-up a vacuum, broom or cloth to clean the place. It is obvious that the Mgr just doesn't care or takes pride in his job. If I was his boss, he'd be gone. The members are being ripped off by not getting what we paid for... The Mgr is ripping off his employer by not doing the job he is being paid to do. I sent the Mgr an email several days ago bring up the issue of how dirty the gym is and still nothing has changed. I guess getting a workout in is more important. If you are looking to join a gym, you can skip Crunch Fitness until they get a new Mgr who is more on the ball and who takes pride in doing a good job.

Great music still. It would be awesome to have some water fountains nearby and some fans on the hotter days! Still great place to workout

Dirty locker rooms, paper towels and sanitizer spray frequently completely out on the floor, broken machines that have been that way for over a month, tight quarters, and rude management. The front desk staff is great, but the manager (I think) is rude af. I will be leaving as soon as this billing cycle is over to go somewhere that has more to offer.

To say that Crunch is a good gym is an under statement. They treat you like family. This is the best investment I’ve made in 2022. 💖

Hands down the BEST gym in the Lacey/Olympia, WA area. The floorplan is huge. The General Manager Chris and his staff are amazing. Extremely welcoming and helpful through any concern you may have. Their front desk staff is awesome. Love chatting with Morgan every morning. Facility is very clean, not crowded and have everything you need for all types of training. Love this gym with a passion

I started this gym about a month ago, got myself a personal trainer because being stuck in quarantine had me gaining too much weight. Ashley has been the best trainer. She teaches me the correct ways to lift and constantly pushes me to be better and do better in the gym. Which is exactly what I need. She’s taught me more than I even knew. Ladies, if you’re looking for a trainer ASHLEY is your girl. I promise you. Trust and believe, you’ll thank me later. This gym itself is the best I’ve attended and I’ve been to literally all of the gyms around the area. They either made me feel weird or I felt I was being judged by others. Crunch is different and they have great equipment as well. ❤️💪🏼

The atmosphere is cool, clean, good music, great equipment. The staff drove me away. Horrible communication and customer service. I joined before they even opened and tried to give them a solid chance, but the service element of the business is severely lacking. I was misled, and in some cases even lied to. If everyone their communicated and cared as much as Holly, I would still be a member. I have gone back to planet fitness and that works fine for me.

I’m pretty new here but super stoked about this place! Not only is it affordable, but the facility is clean, the perfect size, and there’s so much equipment available! It’s a tad farther away from me than I’d like but time it right and it’s only a minor inconvenience. I love that (unlike planet fitness), I can bring my gym bag with me on the floor, and it doesn’t seem as corporate or bureaucratic. Staff is friendly, it’s not too overwhelming to try new things, and the hydro massage is awesome! Haven’t tried the classes yet but will at some point. Only danger is wanting to get snacks at Albertsons next door afterwards, haha! But also super convenient if you need to grab anything after your workout. If you’re curious about this place, call them up and take a tour! It’s what sold me and hopefully it will for you too.

Love it! I wish they: had a filtered water bottle filler, it was closer to the workout floor, and the ac was consistently high enough. Sometimes it’s sooooo hot. Everything else is awesome for the price! I love the layout of the gym, the classroom size and classes offered, and the staff is so friendly!

Signed up a month ago and just yesterday got an email the gym is closing. Would have been nice to know before waiting my time and money. So unprofessional. Its a shame this place had such bad management because I liked the gym itself.

This location is only 4 months old. Initially, I joined because of the convenient location, the variety of equipment and the (limited) group fitness options. The good: 1). The gym fills a niche in the community since that side of town has limited affordable options for gym memberships. 2). Group fitness 3). Lots of windows The unfortunate: 1). In only four months, the place is showing signs of neglect: ---The locker rooms are dirty (nasty), as in the toilets haven't been cleaned in at least two weeks and the floors are accumulating hair and other debris ---Some of the weight benches and cushioning on the equipment are already torn up from use ---Equipment is not being well-maintained (how safe is it?). ---Arriving just after opening time just to find nobody arrived to open the doors. ---Staff are often not at the desk I won't be recommending this gym to anyone.

Awesome gym, after all it's Crunch! This Crunch is no exception, great space, great machines, yes they are still in the process of having their grand opening, filling up the stationary bike area and they have great HIIT cardio training area and trainers.

Front desk staff are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. Out of 3 trainers that I have worked with 2 were excellent (Daniel and Seth). The gym itself is not well maintained, and leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to cleanliness. The sanitation stations are usually lacking sanitizing spray, or they have run out of paper towel. Whenever there have been membership issues, the gym management are non-responsive whereas they don't return phone calls. My most recent issue is that my training account was deleted by the outgoing manager and the acting/current manager has not responded after in-person visits to talk to someone in charge.

Best gym in Lacey, the staff is friendly especially the manager Chris. Very helpful and welcoming. They take feedback very well and cater to peoples requests. Love it here at crunch.

When you sit at a screen as much as I do, it's important to get up and walk around. I was feeling the need to lift more and went into Crunch. So far, it's been great. The staff is friendly and the machines are plenty. My one suggestion is to remind people not to sit on their cell phones while they are on machines. Several times I've gone and there's only one machine that works a certain muscle. A person will be working out on it. Then take a ten minute break and check their cell phone before doing their next set. I can do three sets at four different machines and find I'm sometimes still waiting for them. But otherwise, enjoyable!

Overall, considering price I have to give this place 5 stars. No one really bothers you and just leaves you to your work out. I paid for the membership and annual fee and then $10.99 a month for a year long commitment so it works out to like $16 a month after that. Pretty good considering they have squat racks, bench, cardio machines etc. Everything you would expect from a gym. All their equipment is in good condition and people who go there are good about cleaning up and re-racking the weights. My membership for this level is only valid at this one location but it works out that this is the closest gym to my house. Anything you are trying to do with fitness you can do it here.

I moved to Washington about 2 years ago and fell off the gym wagon because every gym in the area had awful equipment or I simply didn’t feel the vibe. Crunch is perfect. Not too crowded, new equipment and great staff. Can’t wait to get back into my groove! Thanks Crunch!!!

I like this gym for the most part, but some of the machines continue to have issues for weeks before they’re fixed. The only other thing that is frustrating is that you’re expected to wipe down the machines pre and post workout and most of the time I can’t find a bottle of spray at any of locations they should, and sometimes when I do find one it’s below a paper towel dispenser that’s empty. Working 10 hrs a day and having a family I have limited time to put in extra effort to clean the machine

I felt welcome when I first came to the gym. The staff was friendly and informative of the possible options I had when looking the tiers. My first time with trainer Jason went well and I felt he genuinely wanted me succeed. I feel optimistic of the fitness plan going forward.

🫤 2.5 ⭐ The facilities are ok. Nothing to remark on those, alright building, good selection of classes. I'm giving a lower rating because of cleanliness. 😐 Needs to step up communication and professionalism. This is the second time I've had my new member orientation canceled without notification. I understand that trainers get hurt but they have my contact information to notify me. It's disrespectful of my time, and they don't care.
