My son's membership was cancelled in May due to a move out of State. After over a year of membership he was told that there was no problems cancelling. Three more months of them charging and refunding him and supposedly noting the account I am now receiving calls every month to update billing info so they can charge fees. The last three calls I told them that the account was cancelled in May due to the move. They still call me. I have requested to talk to the owner Nic and every time they call he is not available. The last two calls were pleasant and the person on the call stated that they saw the note and that it never got processed and they would take care of it. Today another call came in wanting money. These people that call must not look at notes or listen to the person on the other end. I have blocked the number and have talked to an attorney about the issue. The gym itself is great. Lots to work with and up to now a great staff as long as you are a potential or current member. Supposedly the owners are not around to take care of serious issues during office hours. What a shame. Update: I received a call shortly after this from one of the owners who guaranteed that the issue is resolved. We will see next month. Well it has been a few months and there have not been any charges or calls. Looks like the problem was fixed after several months of aggravation.

I've been attending this gym for a little over a year. Some of the equipment is close together and older, but the environment is welcoming. There is also a Sauna! I recommend.

If you're looking for a great local gym, veteran owned by the way, look no further. While they may look small and un-assuming from the outside, tucked in the corner of shopping center by the Lacey post office, this 20,000 ft² facility is a sleeper and is definitely worth checking out. This isn't one of those chain gyms that just want to keep you paying your monthly dues. These guys know their stuff and are willing and ready share their knowledge to help you meet your goals. Aside from all the training equipment you could ever want, this gym has great amenities. They carry a full line of supplements, there's a smoothie bar and a kids club. They even have an esthetician. And given the current Covid situation, I must say that I feel safe here. Members keep proper social distancing and individual sanitizer bottles and wipes are provided for every member to use. I highly recommend them.

The team at west coast is awesome! So kind and are there for any questions you may have! I just Recently moved back from the states and they were so kind and welcoming! It’s a very clean facility and has all of the things any person could need for lifting! Coming from a small gym over seas this one was amazing! Will be signing up and continuing a membership through west coast fitness!

Very unprofessional gym. The workers try to make up for the misgivings that the owner has but its fueled by pettiness and immaturity. I loved west coast when I first started working out at the gym but things quickly went down hill in the two years I worked out there. During covid the gym shut down and fees were still taken out which was fine and understandable but you would think with such dependability from its customers they could afford to be a little less rude and petty when it came time to cancel your membership. Not very military friendly at all, still charged me for another month when I canceled with orders 3 weeks before I left. But it wasn't 30 days out so I still got charged, even though I was month to month at that point. Tanning and steam rooms are constantly broken so you are paying for stuff you can't even use half the time. The drama between members/staff/owners is honestly ridiculous, in no way shape or form was it kept a professional environment. The also send military folks who refuse to pay that bs cancellation fee, to collections so id recommend staying away. Its really just not worth it.

Great place for people who genuinely wanna workout and not text, social media and socialize. Great staff, amazing smoothie bar and a lot of space and equipments that you never have to compete or share. Great prices and special discounts for veterans and other armed forces.

West coast fitness is a very laid back and uncrowded gym with tons of equipment of all varieties. They are priced very fairly and have great accommodations to go along with your workout experience. Big bonus is the top notch smoothie bar for after that long sweaty workout. I will be a lifelong member!

Amazing staff and atmosphere. So much to offer in 1 gym it's incredible. I really love the fact they are a no creep gym and that in itself makes it a comfortable environment forsure!

Not a current member of the gym, but was stuck waiting in line at USPS next door for over an hour. Walked in to ask if I could use the restroom and got a flat no. I even offered to buy a day pass or a month membership because it was that much of an emergency. Still no. I wouldn't buy a membership here now based purely on their poor ethics. Owners response in case they delete it: I think this review should be directed towards USPS not us. We didn’t make you wait in line and we kindly directed you around the corner to the complex restroom. It would have taken 5 times a long to set you up on a day pass or membership then to walk right around the corner. The complex has these policies for a reason and we can’t violate them just for one person. I think you confuse ethics. Ethics is FOLLOWING the rules for everyone. Reply to owners response: It's you who is confused on the difference between ethics and rules. Definition of Ethics: moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity. What would have been faster, and more "ethical" would have been to have compassion for a fellow human being in a situation instead of hiding behind, and blindly following "rules". I'm glad you replied though, it demonstrates your behavior perfectly. Potential patrons now have another data point to use before making the decision to start a membership here.

Customer service is beyond amazing, first gym I do feel confortable. They do a tour and have multiple services for someone who wants to improve their health. When I call they always answer or will even call you back.

WCFL is one of a kind gyms! Not only does it give you that old school feel, there’s variety of machines that allow you to get your workout in regardless of how busy it is. Not to mention, the kids club hours are awesome for both morning and night. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and are willing to help out if they see you struggling.

Veterans and soldiers, avoid this gym. They are not at all military friendly. If you have to move due to PCS or ETS, they won't care. You will still be billed their absurd cancellation costs. They also impose annual and semi-annual fees. They simply have their financial interests in mind, which is why they won't even let military personnel use active and fit or waive fees when soldiers have orders. There are many more affordable, higher-quality gyms in Lacey and Olympia that will waive all fees if you're moving or ETS or PCS. Get your membership to Active and Fit and visit another gym; you'll save money and the hassle of interacting with this gym.

Nic and his staff are professional, prepared, and able to provide exceptional fitness guidelines. I have never been to a better gym. After a life altering accident I had to recover for over three years. My confidence was low and weight was high. I needed a change that would bring up my morale and increase my self confidence. The staff and other members of the gym would share tips, encouragement, and make me feel welcome. I have exceeded my goals and created new ones with the confidence that I have a team to support me. I had the pleasure of painting the locker rooms inside West Coast Fitness Lacey. Moreso than the work I was hired to do, I appreciated the authenticity of the owner. Nic works in the facility like a truly passionate and trustworthy character. The facility itself contains SO much equipment, I can't imagine a shortage of the machine someone enjoys using. I brushed shoulders (figuratively) with both the men and women who use the gym during my few days painting and not a single member was negative; quite the opposite. Lastly, and my favorite part of the experience was the cleanliness standard. Floors were clean, air was fresh and there's tons of mirrors. If I were to choose a gym, it wouldn't be pLaNeT fItNeSs. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience

West Coast is definitely, hands down the best gym in Thurston County. It's more than a gym, it's a large family. Always such a great atmosphere. The staff is great, the owner is great. Our gym mascot, Kobe, is always there to greet you!

One of the best gyms in Western Washington. All the equipment is maintained. The gym is always clean. And they are constantly adding new machines, and improving. Good environment, good people. Anyone from beginners to body builders and strength trainers can work out here. They have everything you would need. This gym exceeded my expectations, they have equipment I've been looking. They have more then enough different machines to target every single muscle group and a smoothie bar. For the price of membership I highly suggest this place if your in the area and take training seriously.

I walked in and got the Pre workout that I needed. Nick, who helped me and my fiance was very sweet. He greeted us at the store, explained the product I was purchasing and even showed us around the gym. The gym looks amazing and I'm thinking of merging over to this gym, once my contract with LA Fitness is over in July. The gym is clean, the people are super nice, lots of equipment. If you are trying to maintain/improve yourself, loose weight, or are body builder or weight lifter this place is for you. The staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They listen to their member needs and are always adding new equipment. Best of all, the members are great.

I've been going to West Coast Fitness since 2018. Its a second home for me, between the amazing staff and awesome facility it's the total package. Everyone helps everyone there, no egos or judging is at West Coast. This gym help me prepare for last year's Spartan Trifecta race and I'm doing it again this year. Nothing but Blood, sweat and tears happens at West Coast. New members are welcomed with open arms.
