We
have
been
taking
our
11
year
old
daughter
and
8
year
old
son
here
for
about
9
months
now.
In
short,
the
gym
is
great,
Coach
Robert
and
the
other
coaches
are
excellent
with
kids,
and
the
gym
community
is
committed
to
teaching
kids
(and
adults)
BJJ.
We
wanted
our
kids
to
learn
self
defense
and
build
a
sense
of
confidence
in
their
ability
to
take
on
difficult
situations.
The
first
couple
of
weeks
were
extra
hard,
but
the
kids
quickly
started
learning
techniques
they
could
rely
on
to
have
fun
while
sparring.
Coach
Robert
is
very
patient
and
encouraging
with
kids,
while
at
the
same
time
requiring
the
kids
to
focus
on
getting
technique
right
(which
is
great).
Sometimes
as
many
as
30
kids
at
a
time
come
to
class,
and
his
classroom
management
skills
are
very
impressive.
He
also
keeps
track
of
all
the
kid’s
skill
levels
(and
names)
by
knowing
all
of
the
kids,
and
is
able
to
pair
them
up
very
well
so
your
kid
is
always
learning.
You
can
take
your
kids
6
times
a
week
(8
if
you
count
tournament
classes).
All
kids
classes
are
typically
taught
by
a
black
belt
instructor
(Coach
Robert),
but
every
now
and
then
the
kids
get
the
opportunity
to
learn
from
one
of
the
other
experienced
adults
in
the
gym.
Tournament
classes
and
Friday
sparring
classes
are
definitely
more
intense,
but
a
great
opportunity
for
the
kids
to
use
what
they
have
been
working
on
during
the
other
classes
that
week.
Taking
our
kids
multiple
times
throughout
the
week
has
definitely
resulted
in
fast
growth
for
them
as
individuals,
and
they
love
coming
to
class.
Coach
Robert
and
Coach
Lindsey
are
very
supportive
and
willing
to
answer
any
questions
you
have
about
your
child’s
development.
