We absolutely love Rising Tide Karate. My two little ones (age 3&4.5) are obsessed. They go twice a week and are not only having fun but learning so much. We love the atmosphere so much that my husband has also decided to take night classes with some of the other dads. If you are looking for an awesome outlet for your kiddos (or husband) this is the place to be. Please stop by or give them a call, you won't regret taking that first step.

Our 7 year old Leighton has absolutely loved her experience here. She looks forward to every single class and it guts her when we have to miss. Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. They truly work to make everyone feel like family. I would recommend to anyone even looking for a positive community or fun sport. It has improved her strength, brought her outside her comfort zone and taught her many new skills. We can’t wait to watch her grow more and more. If I could afford it, I’d take it with her & it is not something I’ve ever considered. Maybe one day 🥰

Sensei Josh holds similar values to our families. We were immediately impressed by standards and values that are upheld here. We started with an intro month special and we’re hooked. Our 6 year old is now signed up for the whole year. She has found her ability to lead, focus, and show respect in the short time she’s been a member. We even referred one of her friends families who now attend as well. Highly recommend.

My three children ranging from ages 4-9 attend karate lessons at Rising Tide. Owners Sensai Josh and Sensai Polly teach the classes and they are excellent communicators, helping each child be their best. They teach focus, responsibility, and strength while making it fun. The facility is extremely clean with mats and accessories wiped down after each use. I am very impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism of Rising Tide.

It has been a great experience for me. I am a senior woman with no back ground whatsoever in the Arts. Everyone at Rising Tide is welcoming and willing to answer my questions or show me some moves. My five-year old and 12 year-old sons and I take classes at Rising Tide. It has been such an enjoyable experience. Sensei Josh and Sensei Polly are positive, providing constructive feedback and challenging their students to better their practice. We always feel energized and stronger after class! My family and I absolutely love learning karate at Rising Tide. It is something that the children and adults in our family are able to enjoy together. Karate has been both challenging and rewarding. When we first started, I felt a little silly joining as an adult, but Sensei’s Josh & Polly were quick to make me feel welcome, as well as the other adults in the class. After being a part of Rising Tide for the last year, it feels almost like a second family! We love the time and dedication that the Sensei’s put into teaching. They are excellent at mirroring the moves, as well as breaking them down to show exactly how and why you perform them. We have learned much in the last year at Rising Tide and have found a way for our family to be active together!
