Absolutely loved this park. If you like waterfalls this is worth a stop. There are several waterfalls throughout the park. The ones near the parking lot are great but if you follow the path down and around you'll see all types of water trickling down the rocks and when you get to the very back and walk down the stairs you can see a powerful waterfall and feel the mist coming off it. Very nice.

Excellent trails for walking. Relaxing atmosphere, nice environment. Good for taking the children.

Nice outing for a day. Walking around falls and salmon breeding area in season. Area for picnic.

The improvements are fantastic! Cannot wait to see the Salmon hatchery truly at its peak. We saw the little ones. My children have been going there for over 30 years! We absolutely love this beautiful place, right in our town!

We just moved to Tumwater last week and found out this was a mile from our place. Absolutely beautiful! Easy mile walk around the river. We didn't get tho see the Hatchery since it was Sunday, but I'm sure we will be back. Amazing how pretty this is in the middle of the city. Great place to get away and relax. You can still hear the sounds of vehicles and traffic, but that was not a factor in enjoying this wonderful park!

Great trails for families with strollers

Tumwater Falls is a Beautiful Place in the middle of a town. Great walk. Vancity Adventure

Nice park, several trails are available. Stroller and wheelchair friendly.

Such a beautiful park full of history sights and science. Between checking out the hatchery and seeing swim to the falls themselves you'll have a pleasant walk. It's a really easy walk, only downside the lower falls is not wheelchair accessible but 95% of the park otherwise is.

One of our go to places for a quick walk. Beautiful in every season, rain snow or shine and was absolutely enchanting during our little quick freeze in January.

Absolutely gorgeous! I went there with my sister yesterday and we walked for awhile while catching up. She just got back from a nine month international trip and it was wonderful to have such beautiful sights to see and enjoy while making a memory with her. Thank you!

Beautiful place, good for walking the dog and easy enough to take young kids. Certain times of the year there is a salmon run where you can observe the fishes migration.

It was a great place

The water fall and the trail were both really nice. We were also able to see salmon waiting to to released as well as a few in the river.

I got Lost trying to find the entrance. Other than that, it was really cool and if you've got 17 minutes, I'd highly recommend it especially if you got Buddy's and good times, oooh doggie!!! Shooweeeet Cascade action for the boys as far as the eye can see. Im exited to go again, who knows maybe I'll even give it 5 stars since i went when the park was gonna close in 17 minutes. Very fun water looking experience if i do say so myself
