I have frequented this restaurant plenty and haven't been let down. The food is always delicious and the service is almost always attentive and is always friendly. The venue is spacious and clean and the menu is big enough to have something for everyone. Really enjoyed their cocktail menu!

What a great place! Many selections to choose from. Wife and I first looked at the menu’s online before going there. The prices are a lot cheaper in the online menu then in the restaurant. We happened to be in the area and decided to drop in. Wife’s cousin actually owns the place. She was hoping to see her but she wasn’t at work. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich with fries. Delicious! Huge amount of steak. Not much cheese. I ate everything. Wife had a bowl with salmon, veggies and jasmine rice. She said it was really good. I tried it and i agreed. We will be back to try the pot pies! The place is really noisy and busy. The service is phenomenal. Staff are moving like busy bees building a hive. The bartender is constantly making drinks. He doesn’t stop! I thought about ordering a cocktail but opted for a Guinness Stout. I wasn’t disappointed. Next time I will try one of his concoctions. We went at dinner time. Parking was difficult as it is only on metered street. The place is worth going too. A real gem!

Nice outdoor seating with a 🔥 fire pit. Service is good. The Huckleberry lemon drop tasty. Beast burger 🍔 was interesting, very lean meat. Flavors weren't quite there for me. Need to try with just cheese. Alfredo, I was told, was good. Would come back to try other menu items and drinks.

Really nice place, warm and comfortable. I had the salmon fish tacos and they were excellent. I also ordered a cup of the clam chowder, it was one of the best chowders I've ever had. Says it's made fresh, mine certainly was. Had a Moscow mule to wash it down, it was tasty. Finished up with the coffee flavor creme brulee and that was excellent as well. Staff were quite friendly and everything was very fast. Definitely will do it again. Been twice now, my daughter said it was the best clam chowder ever

This is a nice place with good food and some well-crafted dishes. The menu has something for everyone. The deserts are really good and the service was great. Come here to relax but not in a hurry. The seafood pasta, tortellini, and pot pie were excellent. Desserts are also good. The pie is worth the wait.

Sure it was Thursday night, sure we thought it might not be too busy. Well, it was kinda packed, but we chose to sit in the bar area so, all good. Very friendly calm staff coming and going in and out of the busy kitchen. I always like seeing the “dance” of a tight work group. Our drinks came out and look at the “Ugly sweater”! Awesome! We went with Chicken Pot Pie and loved it! Warm and comforting on a cold damp PNW night. Go for a cozy, warm, tasty night out, you’ll leave satisfied

Another one of downtown Olympia’s wonderful little hideaways. Walking down the main streets, it’s a cozy, multi-tiered bar with plenty of seating, a big wall-length fire, and plenty of natural light through the windows. A couple tvs also had the games on for those of you who can’t help it. We popped in for the notable Sunday breakfast/brunch hours and had a good time. We enjoyed one of the many variations of a benedict as well as their uptown waffles, paired with mimosas and hot tea. Drinks and the benedict were good, though the waffles could use some help - they’re topped only with a small scoop of fruit and a tiny side of syrup. I’m not sure what would fix it, but they were kinda lackluster. Anyway, it was a fine place to hang out and grab a low key bite downtown. With limited Sunday options, that definitely raises the appeal to come here!

Our first trip to Olympia and found ourselves looking for a bite to eat. We attended the Uptown Grill purely by chance but we are very glad we did. Happened to arrive at happy hour, and yea that means food too. Excellent meal, great atmosphere and superb staff make this a definite go to place in Olympia. Highly recommend!

Easy to find, this place has a ton of seating. Our server was attentive and kind. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious. Their toppings and sauce on the tacos were great. I couldn't stop eating them. They are huge and the plate comes with 3 of them so you will fill right up. The mac and cheese was a little bland but still edible. They have a nice vegan menu as well for those who ask for it! Overall great place to stop by for a bite.

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE UPTOWN GRILL! SEE PHOTO OF SIGN FOR NAME OF RESTAURANT! My friends and I walked down after a rally at the State Capitol and found this restaurant. The place looked so cute we had to go in. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was so pleasant and attentive. We really liked her. 4 of us ordered (personal sized) pizzas and one ordered pasta. All came with a small salad that was wonderful! The pizza and pasta were very tasty and had a nice thin crust. We also ordered deserts, and they amazingly delucious. The atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend this place for sure! Prices were good and not crowded. 👍🏼⭐👍🏼⭐👍🏼⭐👍🏼⭐👍🏼⭐

Places like this are a treat, very nice inside, very professional, and informative servers. I asked my server what the steaks were cooked in, and she was extremely informative. Excellent excellent food. I got the ribeye meal, and it was fantastic. If I'm being absolutely critical, it was ever so slightly underseasoned. But I was 100% happy with the meal. The potatoes were great. The only small small gripe I have with the restaurant is that their canned drink selection is small. I really wanted a seltzer, but that is not a big deal whatsoever. I understand why because the restaurant is very high-end and they have an expansive cocktail menu. Overall, this restaurant is an 8.9/10 for me. I'd go back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.

This is one of my new favourite restaraunts in downtown Olympia! Service was perfect, timely. The waitress is VERY friendly and helpful in every avenue. Very clean and stylized place, professional working people there, and the food was divine! I had the Mac n cheese and my partner had the Fish and Chips, and we both choked it down. Seasoned absolutely perfectly, portioned well as well which I can't say for many restaurants. This place even has a twist on the classic cheesecake that was actually really good. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come here if you're visiting Olympia. And absolutely must-visit! I WILL be coming back here for more myself.

It's always a good time here! Staff are always friendly, and they work hard. Food is really good and drinks are made to perfection! I got the Salmon Caesar salad, and the portion is no disappointment. Seasoned well and flakey salmon that is cooked perfectly, not dry and not over done. Paired with a peach lemonade cocktail! I have tried a lot of items on their menu, and everything is amazing!

I love the atmosphere here - on the smaller side but with that you get super attentive service. I am going to get the only negative out of the way right off the bat... and this goes for all downtown Olympia restaurants - parking is terrible. You may have to walk a bit. The restaurant looks out on the busy streets of Olympia so you get that city feel, with a cozy atmosphere. Full Bar, Happy Hour, Brunch, Lunch & Dinner - great choices on the menu. We had light snacks on this visit - crab cakes, cobb salad, and sweet potato fries! Everything was really good. It was a cold day so we had some warm you up cocktails - baileys and coffee for my Mom (my date for the day) and I asked for cocoa and mint liqueur - the bartender asked if I had ever tried my cocoa with Goldschlager in it, and I hadn't so I gave it a try - so yummy, I would have never thought to try it! Overall a great visit - will be back for more for sure!

The Uptown Grill was a fantastic spot to stop by and grab some lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and service was quick. The food was very good and I was particularly impressed by the flavors of the Chicken, Quinoa, and Kale bowl which meshed together very well. We would stop by again if in Olympia!

Great customer service but I didn’t like the food. It was too oily. The presentation was pretty but once you started eating it, it was flowing in oil which made it not enjoyable for me at least. It was a fun, one time experience but I would not go out of my way to go there.

What a find!!! Last night we looked for a place to have a quick bite and avoid traffic driving home and stayed a couple hours because we enjoyed ourselves so much. It’s a toss up which is better, the service or the food, both phenomenal! Our bartender Brad was spot on with his food suggestions and the drinks he made us. Each food dish we ordered was full of flavor and freshly made. The staff were all friendly, stopped to talk with you and worked well together. Our food came out quickly and each presentation left you excited to dig in. My friend loved it so much she will be returning Saturday for a date. We love that we found a new place to go, a little bit of a drive from Puyallup but a wonderful alternative to driving up north towards Seattle.

The food was delicious! I ordered a to go order last minute after dinner and it was quick and just as delicious as the previous 2 entrees. Our waiter was really nice and stayed on top of our food and drinks the whole meal. We will be back!

Everything here was beyond our expectations. The drinks were phenomenal, the food was fantastic, and the service was incredible. I believe our servers name was Ash (?) and I could be wrong, but she was very attentive and kind, and was great with recommendations as well! We will most definitely be back!

The food was tasty, and the service was immaculate! I really appreciated our server-Dan, who was attentive not only to us but also to my two kids. He brought out a bag of cars for my son and a paper coaster for my baby girl to play around with. I ordered the seared ahi tuna rice bowl, and it was delicious. Parking is on the street, and you seat yourself. I also saw they have a party room for 100+ guest. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic service. Bloody Mary was on point. Smoked Salmon Benedict was delicious. All employees were courteous. Our server,I wish I had gotten his name, too busy stuffing our faces, was wonderful. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend Uptown Grill and we will be back.

We tried out Uptown Grill for lunch and had a really good experience. They were a little busy but plenty of room. Service was excellent and prompt. We had the braised pork poutine appetizer and it was delicious, very filling. Hubby had the chicken mac n cheese and I had the cod tacos. We ended up bringing most of our meal home because we were full from the poutine. But both were also very good. Pricing is about par for the area. Slightly pricey but worth it. Great place for a date night. We would definitely come back.

You guys, the food was so good! I got delivery. The fries are like 5 Guys, or In & Out Burger style, without the peanut oil taste. The burger was delicious! I got a cowboy burger, and it was a 2 napkin kind of burger, but so, so yummy! I got a side of honey mustard for my fries. I was curious, since they make all their sauces in house, and it was a touch thin, but really good, as well. This is definitely my new burger place!

We spent a weekend getaway in Olympia and decided to early dinner here. Between two of us, we shared a plate of chicken wings, a chicken pot pie and fish n' chips. All of the food we ordered are yummy. Chicken wings are our favorite, great flavor, crispy. Chicken pot pie is not your normal one. It has the flakey crust on top that is almost like croissant. Fresh ingredients. We ended up ordering fish n' chips but it was a bit too much because it's on the greasy side. Overall, this is a great place to dine, quality food, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere.

My roommate took me to dinner here. We're both trying to eat fairly healthy. Mostly organic if we can help it. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the menu options. (See attached photos to this review). This place does it all salmon, steak, salad, pasta, and more. I opted for the Texas Burger and upgraded to the Australian Wagyu patty. It was absolutely astounding how good it was for a burger patty. Hands down the best burger patty I've ever ate (2nd best burger). Most certainly the healthiest. They accommodated my roommates request for a Letice wrap on his burger. (See attached). It looked amazing and he gave it a two thumbs up. I was also happy to see they have vegan options as well because half my family is now vegan and it's always a challenge to find a place to eat with them. Lastly, I will conclude with the service. It was world class, and I say this having traveled my fair share around the globe. Tonight we had "Dan the man". He was great! He had the perfect mixture of fun, informative, and the correct amount of attentiveness (not to much but not leaving you on a deserted island either). Hope this review helps everyone. I know for a fact I'll be back 10/10.
