Finally a restaurant in Olympia I can rave about again! Everything about this place is wonderful from the creative cowhide and floral decor, to the genuine waitstaff and yes the Latinx menu. Lots for gluten free and vegans (which I am not), but the carne asada tacos made my mouth water. Black beans and rice sides lovely, as well as the thick chips and quac. Please dine here!! Great bar too even though I don’t drink alcohol.

What an amazing place! The food menu had some really tasty and flavorful options. All the food was great and the service was excellent. We really like the tamarind shrimp appetizer. The drinks were incredible and actually handmade. The drinks were possibly the best part.

Love a local joint with so much personality. This place is a fun restaurant from the minute you walk in - bright decor and inviting tables with unique colors and seating. We came in for dinner at 6ish on a weekday and were able to seat immediately. Colin was a great host. He made some recommendations for newcomers and we were happy we listened. Some poblano cashew enchiladas (the cashew twist is in the sauce) and the seafood enchilada “stack” were both really solid. Even more importantly was the complimentary salsa tasted good! It’s been a game trying to find good Mexican food since moving up to Washington from areas where such cuisine is more prevalent, but this was a good find. I think we’ll be back in the future, looking forward to trying the corn, a variety of tacos, and maybe more! Good experience overall.

Valentina’s is a vibe!!! Went there for date night and throughly enjoyed it. I loved the Frida mood, the food was delicious and the margaritas were on point.

Met a friend for a drink after work and I was super impressed! I had an excellent coconut margarita and the chips are fresh and the salsa is amazing! I will definitely come back for dinner sometime soon. The place is small and super cute and I enjoyed the ambiance. I see date night at Koko's in my future!

Pretty good! Decor inside is adorable and they give free chips and salsa. The flautas were very large and tasty.

¡Que Rico! Lovely place for cocktails and tasty Mexican fare. Koko is a great host and makes an amazing margarita. Had a chicken taco that was flavorful and delicious. So glad this place made it through the shutdowns. Can't wait to go back. Be sure to catch happy hour!

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. It’s small space and I would think fun for a date night. They have a bar and food comes out pretty quickly. They serve chips and salsa. I was missing some spicy salsa but everything we ate was flavorful.

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air in downtown Olympia. I love how involved the owner is and the remodeling is fantastic. I enjoyed the margaritas and the food was delightful. I am a sucker for a place with photo opps! We will be back!

I’ve lived downtown for many years and didn’t know this fabulous place existed until someone told me about it. It looks very inconspicuous from the outside. But once inside it’s fabulous! The service was fast, friendly, the food and drinks were marvelous and so very yummy! It was also such a fun, ethically inspired and festive atmosphere! Olympia is very lucky to have this gem!

What a gem! The food here is incredible, modestly priced and beautiful to look at! So many vegan and gluten free options and HOME MADE CORN TORTILLAS. Lots of places have home made flour tortillas. All the good ones do.. but who has home made corn tortillas? And they're INCREDIBLE. Just as big a difference as home made flour ones make. I've tried the vegetarian and the prawn tacos. Both are incredible. The pawn habanero enchiladas and the vegan cashew cream enchiladas are insane too. You have to try this place if you haven't been here and I can't recommend the Dulce Margarita enough. Try one!

Loved this place. The cocktails were delicious and the food was scrumptious. I got their special; fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and chorizo gravy. It was all gluten and dairy free and I couldn't even taste a difference. The mash was a little runny but everything else was good and it wasn't a pain to eat with my dairy intolerance. My girlfriend got a large burrito that was FANTASTIC. 3 kinds of meat, lots of rice and beans, and some lovely guac on top. We'll have to go back to try some more.

Drink prices were a little high imo. The margaritas were good flavor but small and lacking alchohol for the price. I’m assuming because I paid 105 for 3 margaritas and a coke with 2 entrees and appetizer. Food was like 16$ a plate which was a great price, I didn’t read my receipt to know the exact price of drinks. However the food was on point, presentation was on point, it was good.

An adorable restaurant; however, we stood in the door way for approximately 10 minutes. Made eye contact with multiple staff members. Very disappointed in the way my partner and I were treated. This, plus the safety concerns within the downtown area, would make me highly likely to tell my friends/family to never go here. Especially not for a weekend date night.

We had an absolutely amazing evening, never had been before my enchiladas were totally bomb! My spicy jalapeño pineapple margarita was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Took my wife and cousin to this restaurant for the first time. The food, drinks and service were excellent! Koko's has some very delicious and unique dishes. The place is a little small and does not cater to persons under 21. There may be a wait, but it is well worth it!

Hands down, this place is our new favorite downtown restaurant!!! It's, small, classy, inviting and the decor is gorgeous! I started off with a cucumber cilantro margarita, which was delicious to say the least, had the Ahi-tuna tostada as an appetizer and it was crispy, light and very delicious. For me, main dish was the poblano cashew enchiladas that were to die for! My husband had the steak tacos with the homemade corn tortillas and they were so good! Valentina was very welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend this place, give it a try if you're in the area. We can't wait to go back!

Portion size of steak, rice dish was quite small for $26. Then they didn’t include guacamole in order and can’t seem to get a refund for that $10. There are much better values for good Mexican food in Olympia. Thanks

I went in on a rare evening in Olympia. Google said it was open until 10PM, when we got there we where informed it was closed. I was disappointed, but Google is often wrong. I pointed out the error so they could fix it for the next person, as I wasn't bent out of shape, but others might be. The owner was very apologetic, and offered to make us a drink and some chips and salsa, and was insistent we do so. The atsmophere was fantastic. I loved the music. It added to the vibe, but was not over powering. The Margarita was great, and my husband LOVED the salsa. We left as soon as the people eating dinner did. I will definatly come back. I look forward to going back.

This place has a nice night-out atmosphere. My food was good. I got a carnitas quesadilla and it was delicious. My husband got empanadas. The outside was too greasy and thick. We were the only ones there on Easter and they started closing early and kind of forgot about us. Overpriced for what it is.

My Olympia’s favorite restaurant. The menu changes from time to time, making it exciting to check in. All the margaritas and enchiladas are amazing. Koko’s gives you the party in South America fun and casual vibe. Music is loud enough to keep the conversation at each table going.

Everything was incredible. We loved the fresh chips and salsa, the guava lemonades the staff whipped up for us during Dry January, and the enchiladas! We are moving to Olympia this month and foresee ourselves becoming regulars. Thanks for the great meal!

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Olympia. Fun, chic vibe. Good food. Good prices. <3 My boyfriend said "this restaurant almost makes me feel like I'm not in Olympia". Regarding food, this is a very good thing. I've been here for more than 2 years and have only found a couple restaurants I'm even willing to eat at. This place is definitely one of them. Definitely not just another tired, uninspired, overpriced Olympia eatery. This place is fun, cute, and has style. They also have plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The homemade corn tortilla for the enchiladas is UNREAL. Go try it out. :)
