Billy Frank Jr. Trail & Park offer views of the Olympic mountains. The park has a few benches and a couple picnic tables. One table is designed to accommodate wheelchairs. During my weekday visit, I saw more people on the water sailing and rowing than I saw on the trail or at the small park. The trail (wheelchair accessible) has sections of tightly packed gravel and longer stretches of cement. It was a little tricky finding the trail when it passes through business areas, but a quick look at Google Maps helped keep me on the right path.

A delightful little part that's a great place to enjoy the seaside, watch the watercraft coming and going, and even see the occasional seal. Some of the borders between private property and that accessible by the public are a little unclear, and the reason why I removed a star. Definitely one of my favorite places in the sound, and one I intend to get back to you often.

Nice park but recently (7/2), i've witnessed open drug use approaching sunset and stinking up the trail leading to the viewpoint (not being mindful of wind direction), very disappointing, please if you are going to do drugs do it privately in your own home and not around young children (these 2 folks with green and pink hair were not homeless). Minus this bad experience, the park is still nice to visit.

One of my favorite places to walk. One time saw a crane fly away with a snake. I've seen deer, turtle, rabbits, ducks, bald eagles and lots of other wildlife. Has a long raised pathway to walk. Alone with a few ponds and bay.

Smells good. Great place to watch the sun go down. Or come up depending on your sleep habits... Great bird watching and sky watching.
