My car is getting worked on for service, so I walked down here to get some coffee. Upon entry, I was greeted with warm welcomes from the women working. They were SUPER nice! I figured I would be here for awhile and I was pleased to find out they have drip coffee with free refills in their dine in mugs. AND citrus water?! SCORE! I also got some pimento & bacon jam toast that was lights out. I wish I had more reasons to come over here because this place is awesome. Highly recommend! Thank you Samayra!

Gorgeous aesthetic, and delicious drinks and baked goods! I was eager to try this new cafe, as I frequented the one that existed at this location prior. I love the updated, modern and cozy decor. We tried tea, coffee and a couple bakery items, all of which were fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating makes it great for all seasons, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

I go to a lot of coffee shops (probably 6/week) and this is one of the best in Thurston or Lewis County. The red tea latte was a real treat and the french pastries are as fancy as they are delicious. The atmosphere also manages to be unusually peaceful while being upbeat. It’s fairly empty today but usually full of a lot of people reading or having conversation.

If you're looking for a place to get some work done, steer clear of Samayra. I came here to take a few Zoom calls and do some writing, but I had a terrible experience today. The music is blaring so loudly that I can't hear anything even with my headphones at full volume. I cannot stress how loud it is in this cafe. When I asked if they could turn the volume down, the staff member rattled off an answer to the effect of "it's for privacy reasons and the owner wants it this way." I think they even increased the volume after I spoke with them. My order was also incorrect, and the staff is rude. This is just a trendy cafe that lacks the basic necessities of a quality coffee shop. Go to other local shops like Ember Goods instead for better drinks and a cozy environment. Even the Barnes and Noble a block down is better.

This is the coffee shop to be at. Great breakfast burrito with delicious artistic coffee. The shop is filled with dark earthy colors that make it feel warm and inviting to sit for awhile. It's in the perfect spot to watch the birds flying around the tree tops while you sip your coffee. There were chill lofi beats to relax and study to. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I'd give this place more stars if I could.

Hands down the best coffee in the NW! I have met numerous people here and worked through out the day. Overall fantastic Vibe for whatever you want to do. Love the music! The people are also intentional and interested in you as a customer. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Such a cute spot for coffee and pastries! I got a iced matcha latte and was so happy they used ceremonial grade powder. They house make their vanilla syrup, which I got in my drink, and its delicious. They also roast their own beans for coffee inside, and you can walk right up and watch!

Absolute best people. They let me stay in during my split shifts and they're always super sweet to me. Forever my to-go during breaks. They're fast, efficient, make great recommendations, and provide a wonderful environment to enjoy a few minutes of your day. Also they do lovely latte art.

I've been coming in since they opened. This is a top notch family owned local roaster and cafe. The coffee beans are amazing ... All my home espresso is Samayra. I'm grateful to have a shop like this in town.

This is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in a long time. I used to manage a coffee shop and spent almost 3 years as a barista. I have an espresso machine at home and make my coffee 7 days a week. These folks hands down make a better cup of coffee than I do. The atmosphere is relaxed, the coffee is roasted on-site, and the milk was as smooth as velvet from the first sip to the last. The staff were friendly, and the other patrons we talked to as well. Will absolutely be back the next time we’re in the area.

The draft oat milk latte was so good on its own. Cute shop where you can actually sit and drink your coffee.

I have been to this coffee house twice. Both times I went through the drive-thru and I would not recommend that experience. On both occasions I waited nearly 10 minutes with no other cars line. It was excusable the first time due to correct orders which were delicious and I highly enjoyed the pastry. Unfortunately this second visit will make Samayra Coffee my last choice stop for coffee in Olympia. Not only did I wait again over 10 minutes for a drip with cream and sugar and oat milk latte but both orders were incorrect. The oat milk latte was iced and the drip was black. If the fear had not been present to be waiting another 10 minutes, I would have sent the drinks back. Luckily the consumers switched drinks and could enjoy the necessary morning fix as the coffee remains delicious. Future patrons, be sure to enjoy your coffee inside as I am sure you will have the experience deserved by well roasted beans. * the staff did provide a free drink ticket even without any verbal complaint and that gesture was appreciated

This is the best modern coffee shop you'll probabaly ever find. Not blandly prepped because when the black coffee is good, you know that it's worth being a loyal customer to. Out of all my travels, this coffee shop is (personally) worth going back to because of the music they choose for their customers. (Aside from one other good one I've found in Montana.) The customer service is like no other and always worth leaving a tip for. Also, a nice window for viewing. (Love a good view) Great location.

Their red latte is so so good. It has no coffee in it, tastes like a warm fall drink. So soothing. Their customer service was outstanding. Atmosphere is great as well. Recommend to everyone.

My favorite specialty coffee shop and they have a drive thru! I also get a vanilla latte depending on the day I get hot or iced but both are great. Baristas are always friendly and super sweet :) We always bring family from out of town here to get good quality coffee.

Best place we found to take care of your coffee needs! Ended up coming here twice on our trip. The Rice fam especially Kenlee and Kaden took great care of us and very personable. She suggested my new favorite coffee beverage, expresso cream soda. We also got the americano, latte, teas, tried the food, everything hit the spot! Would love to have a place like this at home, worth visiting if local or here visiting from out of town!

Read the reviews and went out of my way to try it. People raved about the coffee flavor. Had a latte and it was the weakest coffee flavor I've had. Coffee was also not hot but that was okay. More expensive (about a dollar higher)than other lattes and being so weak I was very disappointed. Would not return. Drive thru only.

I have had the pleasure of getting coffee to go here twice now. The coffee is amazing, the service is first rate and the prices are reasonable. This is my go to on busy work days now!! They have food options, but I didn't try anything on their menu as of yet(planning to in the near future). 10/10 recommended

I wanted to be the 100th review, to be honest, so here goes! I’m most familiar with their espresso based drinks, and I find them to be some of the best in the area! Every drink i’ve gotten from them i’ve felt that care was put into it. They roast in-house which is also an added plus in my book. The atmosphere of the place lends itself nicely for rainy days and the baristas are also super kind as well! it’s a great place!

Good coffee and decent pastry selection. However, we were asked to leave because of our service dog. She was identified as a service animal on her leash and tags, but we were told that because she wasn't wearing a vest she wasn't a service dog (there is no requirement, legal or otherwise, for a service animal to have identification). We were then told we had to show documentation and we agreed to do so (despite not being legally required to and it being illegal for staff to ask), but we were told to leave per company policy.

Rock hard apple fritter. No offer to heat it up. Told if my “hands get sticky, there’s some napkins”. Asked do you have forks here? Wifi is password protected. Have to ask to use. Coffee bland. Ambiance was good. Nice tables/chairs. Good music volume. Has potential, but not there yet.

Amazing chai, coffee has great depth. Stopped in to get a cortado and a morning bun. Ordered a chai and a chocolate croissant as well. Everything was reminiscent of travels abroad. Unique. Authentic. Comforting.

We stopped in over the weekend and would never go back. We've told everyone in the area and our work nearby to avoid it too. With a motto that says "We're gonna be great friends", I have to admit I was shocked and disgusted by how we were treated. I have never experienced more poor and uninviting customer service. The girl who took our order was rude and unprofessional. As soon as we were seated to wait for our order she and her friends openly talked about my husband and I so loud we could hear them, while the 3 of them stared at us continuing to talk the entire 30 mins of our awkward visit. I thought a review would be appropriate and perhaps help their customer service because I like to support small and local. When I overheard her telling another customer her parents own the shop, I knew a review would make no change in the service so if you visit here you should expect the same childish, "mean girl" vibe I experienced in this shop. Hopefully they don't last with other local coffee shops nearby that have better prices; better food and drinks and FAR better customer service. It costs nothing to be kind, but I doubt that's a lesson she's interested in learning.

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop! The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Which the staff are my favorite part to be honest. It's nice to have an coffee shop you can go to where they know your name and your drink. That when you walk in they genuinely care about you as a customer and they treat you like a friend. I will continue to come back to Samayra again and again.

Cute little coffee place. Clean and stylish with friendly staff. Very minimalistic, including food and drink options. A little on the pricey side but good quality.

Cozy, local coffee shop. In short, I loved it. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, and it was actually the cheapest (still good) latte I’ve found since moving to Olympia. Love that’s there’s plenty of table space, too. Big fan, will be back.
