I’ve been going to this coffee place for several years. Definitely an Olympia classic place to stop for some top quality, ethically sourced coffee and yummy baked goods. I’m not much of a coffee expert or connoisseur, but they make coffee far better than Starbucks! Love the fact that they have a dietary inclusive menu as well.

Best coffee in Olympia area or maybe the whole Puget Sound. The tasting room is open. Come see the Roaster folks in action, taste a couple fresh brews and take a pound home for Mom!

If your a coffee lover, than you should definitely visit the tasting room. We are from California and it smelled wonderful as soon as we walked in. The girl behind the counter was so patient and helpful as we made our choice of which coffee to buy. Also I think the website says they open at 8, but they don't open till 9 😁

We went to the tasting room where they roast the coffee by the Olympia Farmers market. Got to try out for free a bunch of different coffees. Dancing goat has better coffee than yeah Olympic Coffee Roasters just down the street. Recommend getting your roasted coffee beans for espresso here.

Visited this jewel on our normal Sunday morning drive and glad we made the trip from puyallup. My wife ordered a hazelnut latte with a almond croissant. I ordered the Americano with a black berry danish, both were delicious. Both our coffees were prepared just as we expected our coffee to be. That’s generally why you have a favorite coffee shop right lol!?! But seriously, this spot does it right in my opinion. So therefore we’ll definitely put this coffee shop on our list of bangin coffee!

I love Batdorf, and have been going there for decades. I recall when the Capital Way Batdorf was on the other side of the street, where the deli is now. This coffee shop has always been a place that is calming, comfortable, and that had a warm feeling; that is why, for me, it was so disappointing to see them recently move into the corner space (where Starbucks used to be). This space is not only much smaller, but it just has this cold feeling that is completely uninviting to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend. Of course, there is still the Batdorf near Saint Martins University, as well as the one close to farmers market which are much more conducive to sitting with a friend. But I, likely like so many others, are so going to miss the space that they moved from.

The service was helpful and friendly. The coffee however... We are used to freshly roasted beans. We bought two half pound bags of their lighter roasts. Neither are exciting and frankly taste meh... Sorry, I won't be returning.

They usually have four or five coffees to taste for free , one always being a decaf. If you find one you like, they can sell you a cup of it. They also offer a wider variety of whole bean coffee, sold in as little as half - pound quantities. They can grind purchased beans to order. Service is friendly and super-knowledgeable.

I have enjoyed B&B Coffee for as long as they first opened down town Olympia. Now that I have moved in retirement, I have been restricted to trips through Olympia to buy the best. Still searching for mail-order deliveries. Edit: For the past 6 months I have enjoyed five pound shipments that occur every six week automatically. This works out almost perfectly to my pattern of use.
