After reading the great reviews, I called Black Lake Plumbing. We had a long "to-do" list at our 30+ year old house with several issues we had neglected over the years - 2 toilets weren't working, bathroom sink/faucets were leaking, and we needed 2 new outdoor faucets installed. They were able to come much earlier than expected. Sean and Mark were knowledgeable, friendly, honest, hard working, and best of all, thorough. I do wish I had found them years ago, it would have saved me a lot of time, money, and stress. In a matter of hours, everything that was wrong in our house was "magically" working again! We discovered a broken pipe under our house this morning around 10:30am. It was beyond our DIY capabilities so we called 3 companies, one of which we’ve used before. They couldn’t get us in until next Friday. We haven’t heard back from the second company yet. Black Lake returned our call immediately, and thought they could fit us in tomorrow which was great. An hour or so after speaking with Chris, he called back and said that they could be over around 3 today. They showed up on time and had the pipe repaired in 30 minutes. My kitchen sink was not draining and I was stressed out. I made an appointment with Black Lake Plumbing and they showed up early and fixed the problem quickly. They went underneath my house and found the clogged pipe and took care of everything. Sean and Mark were super kind and respectful, very nice and easy to work with. The bill was a couple hundred dollars LESS than what I was expecting so it was literally making the best of a bad situation. Thank you!

Integrity is still a value and the respect for a client is still accounted for. I mainly worked with Chris and Sean, both are excellent at what they do. There is no B.S. talk, timely, reasonable, and great with communication. There are no doubts in using Black Lake Plumbing again for me!

I called Chris at Blacklake plumbing to fix an outdoor leak in the main water line. He was very responsive. I did not know where the leak was on the 200 foot line. He recommended using Simply Leak Detection company to locate the leak. Once the leak was located, Chris came out the next day and repaired the leak. I am very satisfied with Blacklake plumbing. Chris was professional, on time, and price was good. I highly recommend this compant.

Quick response, pre called before arrival, polite and courteous, once they found the problem they were able to show me and explain resolution, resolved in timely manner. This is the true definition of elite customer service.

I called Black Lake Plumbing for a clogged toilet, thinking they would be booked out at least 1-2 weeks. There were here to troubleshoot one hour after the phone call. And one hour later, they were gone, with my toilet and kitchen sink working perfectly. I am shocked and delighted by this experience. I will use this company again, when needed. And, I will whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services in the Oly area.

I’ve needed Chris’ services twice now, first for a ruptured pipe in my crawl space that was leaking massive amounts of water and recently for a another leak that the PUD had alerted me to. Chris repiped my house after the first leak, it was done quickly, without any mess and at a really good price. He came out and diagnosed my current leak as being between the meter and my house so I am going through the process to have that leak located and will have Chris back to fix that leak too. I recommend Chris for any plumbing job, without reservation!

EXCEPTIONAL service from start to finish! First of all, THEY ACTUALLY ANSWER THE PHONE when I called to make an appointment about my rusted, broken, 23 year old toilet flange. Then, they were actually able to send someone out to fix my problem the next day. My toilet flange was rusted through, and Sean was able to set a new horn gasket over the old, unusable flange (rather than rip out my flooring, forst floor ceiling, etc. bc said flange was attached to the pipe). (Sorry. Didn't get a picture of that!) They then installed my new toilet for me. Sean and Mark were quick, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm one of those quizzer homeowners who like to learn about new things, and Sean was a very patient instructor. I learned a lot and he saved me a lot of time and money! I called Black Lake Plumping and spoke to Chris. We were have water discoloration issues and did not know the origination. Chris was not only pleasant but very professional. He came out the same day and identified the problem. The water had cleared by the time he investigated. When asked how much I owed him there was no charge. I had a brand new tankless water heater that was not igniting. I was beside myself. He came within hours took a look and tested it and (of course) it worked. He refused to take any money from me as he insisted he did nothing. What integrity. If I ever need a plumber for something Black Lake Plumbing will be my choice.

I had an issue with a toilet that I wasn't able to resolve myself. They came out, and were very professional. Once the issue was resolved, they talked to me about potential causes and what I can do to prevent problems in the future. While they were here I had them fix a couple of showerheads that I had installed myself. I will definitely call on them again. They are very easy to work with!

We discovered a leak under our house just as we were leaving town. I called Chris at Black Lake and he agreed to have someone out first thing the next morning despite our being gone for several weeks. The cost was reasonable, and his responsiveness was awesome. He called me late the next morning to let me know the leak was repaired. We will use him again, and we highly recommend you give him a try.

We had old washer valves that needed replacing, we started the work ourselves but discovered the fittings were outdated and required more work than we were prepared for. I didn’t think we’d be able to get anyone out the same day but I called Black Lake and they were at my house in 45 minutes and done an hour after that. They were incredibly responsive, friendly, and really reasonably priced especially for such short notice.

Our guest toilet went on the fritz on a hectic morning. I called my usual guy but they were days out. I called Black Lake next based on their rating. Chris the owner not only answered but came out within the hour! WHAT? Unheard of service these days for sure! He tried to fix it without charging but in the end had to replace the innards so had to charge but was totally reasonable. I got a "new toilet" and Chris got a new customer... Called Black Lake Plumping late on Monday afternoon, spoke with Chris, and he was out early Tuesday morning. The service was excellent. Chris was so helpful, explained everything that was needed, and had our faucet repaired in less than an hour. I use Black Lake Plumbing for all my plumbing work!

Had a mysterious problem appear over Christmas with our downstairs toilet not flushing properly, so that any waste we sent up would come right back into the bowl. We waited a couple of weeks for the snows to go away before calling. The professionals at Black Lake Plumbing were able to come out immediately, and while they didn't find a problem now, were able to connect the dots and discover the cold weather had likely frozen a valve in the pump that was preventing the waste from being removed. No charge for the diagnostic was a great surprise and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

My water supply line broke in the middle of a major winter storm. I thought it might be weeks to fix. Chris and company showed up right away and gave me some options. I chose what to do and they were back two days later and restored water to the house in a couple hours. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient for a fair price. I called Black Lake Plumbing with a hot water issue. Leaking pretty steadily. Scheduled a next day inspection of the issue. Two workers showed up, discovered the problem (the tank had actually split open. I was lucky it hadn't blown completely), and even had a replacement in the truck. Less than two hours later, I had a new unit installed. This was less than 24 hours after my initial call to Chris. The cost was competitive, the two workers were very professional, and I avoided a catastrophe. I can't thank Chris and his crew enough. Black Lake Plumbing will be my first call should I need plumbing needs in the future.

Quick and easy. Had a leaky tub faucet caused by the hot water handle, they came out, fixed it in no time, and for cheap. Very professional, very kind, and very affordable. Definitely coming back here if I need other plumbing help.

The Black Lake Plumbing team is exceptional. Chris and Shawn replaced an original cast iron waste pipe in our 1920’s home.
