I'm not a gym person, this was my first exposure to a gym and I went in expecting almost a sort of "gym bro" and was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere. I got to talk with the owner about what my goals were, got a key and I was off to the races. The people here are friendly and welcoming to all newcomers. It doesn't matter if you're there for the first step on a journey or if you are a returning gym goer and there to pick up where you left off. The trainers are there to answer questions and the people are more than happy to sometimes just chat and have fun. Since I joined they have expanded and added a much larger area with more machines and options for your workout routine. You want to run? Want to go on the bike? Lift weights? Lift weights in other ways than just the obvious ones? They got you covered! I honestly didn't know there were that many ways to work out and the overwhelming amount of options was daunting for all of a moment before the on-boarding showed me what each one did and how most of them were used properly and safely. This place is amazing. Honestly I'm half scared to go to another gym because it might not live up to the expectations this place gave me. The freedom to go in whenever, work out however long you want, and talk with some fantastic people is such a contrast vs what I expected that I hope this place never changes. They got lockers for your needs (bring your own lock if you want one) as well as a small fridge and microwave because...I don't know. Never opened it but you might to put in a drink for later. They have a rest area, water fountain with a place to fill up a water bottle, and plans to add more in the near future. The place isn't crowded YET and if they keep this up I more than expect them to fill up fast. Get here NOW and enjoy what I was too scared to start so many years ago. Alliance Athletics is a great place to work out and for the price ($69, nice) I honestly think it is a steal. They offer personal training and even group classes to dip your feet into the waters. Sign up and I hope to see more new faces here.

I have worked out in various ways for much of my life, and honestly kind of hated it most of the time. But earlier this year a friend recommended Alliance Athletics, and it took a while for me to get going mostly because it was a bit more costly than I was ready for, but I am *so glad* I did it. I love lifting weights, and it turns out what I needed to make exercise fun was some guidance! Scott is knowledgable, friendly, easy going, not pushy, not creepy (I feel like most female presenting people will immediately understand why I say that and the importance of it) and has taught me so much in only a few weeks. I am loving working out, I feel strong, I feel healthy, I highly recommend this gym! And if you are not necessarily someone who is seeking out "powerlifting", don't let that scare you off!

I truly love this gym for so many reasons. I felt so intimidated about beginning weightlifting, but Scott is welcoming and approachable to every type of lifter (this goes for all of the other coaches, too). They go beyond just providing a spot to work out, this gym has created a community of individuals who encourage and hype up everyone who walks through the door while maintaining a fun and lighthearted environment. Queer folks especially, this gym was made for you to feel safe and strong in your body. 10/10 A++

Listen, committing to getting healthy is hard. But this guy? He makes it simple, straightforward, and understands when you’ve had a bad day or week. He’s positive and works with you to help you help yourself. I cannot recommend Alliance Athletics enough! And AND he’s a super LGBTQIA+ ally. Couldn’t ask for more in a human being let alone a personal trainer.

One of the things I love about the strength community is how everyone is always so welcoming and accommodating. I was traveling for a job interview and needed a gym to get my workout in and Scott didn't hesitate to open up his gym to me, and was super accommodating to my schedule. I had the opportunity to meet Scott a couple of years ago at a strength certification. He is incredibly dedicated to strength and wellness. I would recommend him to anyone!

My first time joining a gym and I’m really glad it was this space. Less than a year old and constantly improving their equipment and facility with a major expansion coming soon. Queer and beginner friendly. A safe and comfortable environment for working out at any level. Owner Scott Drapeau offers personal training sessions, gym access if you are experienced, and is a licensed and practicing massage therapist. Stop by and check out the space, I’m glad I did.

Great gym. Love the vibe and like the atmosphere. Geared towards lifting and strength training but has some cardio equipment too. You can feel comfortable while working out and not worry about “gym bros” getting huffy that you’re in “their” space. Super chill and lgbt friendly. 24/7 access was a major selling pint for me and outside of “after work” hours & some group classes you get a lot of space to yourself. 10/10 would recommend.

Great gym with a very welcoming atmosphere. Tons of power racks, benches, two deadlifting platforms, and some smaller areas for dumbbells/stretching. Scott, the owner, has an amazing vision for the gym and has created the most positive environment for everyone. I’m proud to support this gym and will be sad the day I have to switch gyms.

Alliance is an amazing space that is welcoming to all regardless of fitness level, body type, and experience. I was looking for a space where I could focus on strength training without feeling intimidated, but still feeling challenged. My trainer, Michelle, is great at customizing a program that meets my goals, and is incredible at providing support and encouragement in each workout. I highly recommend Alliance!

Perfect community gym. A wide variety of strength training and cardio equipment. Plenty of barbells, racks, and plates. And best of all, a supportive and welcoming environment whether you’re part of small groups/personal training or not. 10s across the board.

This is for Scott’s massage service. Scotts the best! Got a massage from him today. He took the time to listen to me and delivered one of the best massages ever. I’ve been working out a ton and decided I wanted to give my body a bit of a rest with a massage and I can’t wait to go back.

I've been going to Alliance Athletics for a little more than a month now, and I cannot rave enough about the space and the community Scott, Kim, and Andrew have built. I've gone through phases in my life where regularly going to the gym has cropped up and fell by the wayside due to various reasons, and this is by far the most welcoming and inclusive space I've had the opportunity to experience. The weekly personal training that I do with Andrew meets me where I'm at for any given day, and gives me real, approachable, and actionable goals to help support what I want to do outside of the gym, whether it's to help build my hiking endurance or work around my kickball leg :) The sessions are always a blast, and Andrew is adept at working around my complete lack of spacial awareness when it comes to me figuring out how to move my limbs while keeping it fun and lighthearted. If you've ever wanted to get into strength training or lifting weights but were dissuaded by the negative bits of mainstream gym culture, this is the place for you!

Truly cannot say enough good stuff about the gym. The energy is awesome, the programs aren’t cookie cutter they are built for you and your goals and the motivation is sincere. The training I get makes me feel like an athlete again who can see and feel results, not just a gym-goer looking to get likes on social media. Highly highly recommend!

Like a home gym away from home. Quality equipment, great atmosphere. Scott is very knowledgeable and just an overall great guy. Super inclusive. What a gym should be.

I really appreciate Scott’s approach to strength training. Our sessions focus on form and making incremental gains where appropriate. Building up slowly is especially important to me because I am recovering from some injuries. With Scott’s programming and coaching, I am steadily getting stronger and regaining function without having to worry about setbacks. It just works. Overall the gym super welcoming and everyone I have met is really friendly and helpful.

Had my intro session today and it was amazing! This gym is very lovely and has very positive energy, they made me feel at ease with what little experience I have going to the gym and it felt nice to not be perfect at something and have it be okay! I highly recommend at least doing an into session here!

I have met some of the best, most helpful, kind souls here at this gym. That’s not to mention the love and care the owners have put into this growing gym. I would recommend this place to anyone I know! It’s always a good time at Alliance :)

Super friendly, welcoming, inclusive gym and they just expanded to a bright space, well-equipped for all your lifting needs 💪🏻 (and a lil cardio corner). I’ve been working with Andrew and he’s been great, smoothing my re-entry to lifting after years away.

It has been amazing to see how much stronger I have become over the past year. I am regularly lifting more and more weight which is always a nice ego boost. The exercise cycles are challenging but never out of reach. And the exercises change frequently enough to prevent boredom. Lastly, the atmosphere is always positive and uplifting which makes hitting those PRs even more exciting. As a part of that, you are encouraged to listen to your body and adjust the weights accordingly and you are never chastised for missing a workout or having an off day. I feel so lucky to be a part of this program.

I've been working with Scott for almost a year now and I can't put into words how professional, personal and accomplished my experience has been with him since we began. I knew him from my time in the Army where my experience was no different, and it's been nice to not only train alongside a familiar face, but be pushed by an old friend to help me meet goals that I have made for myself. I appreciate his lighthearted and simple approach to fitness and wellness, and I know that he provides the same quality to anyone that is looking to make healthy, positive changes in their lives, in whatever fashion they aim to make them! Scott makes and keeps his services very personal to his clients and not about a special program or business or third-party source. With him, it's just the two of you, your goals and aspirations for wellness, and nothing else. I am excited to be an early part of his path in this industry and I couldn't recommend him any faster to anyone that's willing to make the call to help themselves!

Look, stop all those other trainers. Start with Coach Scott immediately. He teaches you self discipline, self accountability, and self reliance. Since the start, Coach Scott showed me a way to live more healthy and train on the road. I strongly recommend him and his program to anyone struggling. He is the answer!!!

Scott asked me about my goals and he laid out a simple, understandable direction on how to get there. I made some huge athletic improvements within a couple months and was impressed with his guidance and support. Would highly recommend at least a meeting with him so you can see what I saw in him.

I hadn’t been in a weight room regularly in years, and a good friend kept telling me how much she loved working out at this gym. I finally joined her for a workout and really liked the space and Scott’s training philosophy. I felt totally welcome even though I was completely out of shape, and through several training sessions with Scott I have a good baseline to lift on my own. It was definitely worth the price! This is a small space and there are usually only a few other folks in there at any given time. People are chill and friendly, and the space seems really woman & LGBTQ friendly. This is the gym experience I didn’t know I wanted until I found it!

Love this gym! Inclusive of everyone- all shapes, sizes, and types! The owner, Scott, is a really cool person who genuinely loves helping their members. The membership price is great, especially for the quality of equipment and the passion and vision that Scott brings. Highly recommend for beginners and pros alike!!
