I'm not sure why so many churches in this area don't treat people well. I don't attend this church but know that instead of offering lower salaries to long-term teachers in their school to save funds for the next year, they let go a number of teachers that have been there 20+ years and kept new teachers that had been there a year. If the church is having a financial crisis and needs to cut back, letting go of loyal teachers is not the way to do it. I think that was a poor and unloving decision on the part of leadership. And in response to the reply I received from the school, I understand you think you did the right thing, but think of how those 5 teachers felt after 20+ years of loyalty and you let them go, instead of keeping them on, especially considering how well-loved by parents and kids alike. It was a bad call in my opinion, and definitely hurt some people in the name of saving some money. I do not need to DM you, I just wanted you to be aware that people are hurt and paying attention to the example you set.

Every week, I walk in Evergreen's doors eager for spirit-led worship, powerful teaching, and people excited to be there. Everyone here has a heart after God and that is exhibited in every aspect of the church. Pastor Jim has such a unique way of breaking down Scripture, and getting to the core of any topic he teaches on. You'll be hard-pressed to find someone who won't smile at you, and the 3 service times make Sunday mornings flexible!

After 2 and a half years of looking for a place for my 6 kids and I to attend, I found this place. I was looking online for a church for kids and a place for me to just kind of get lost in the crowd. I wasnt ready to be a huge part of something, that changed quickly though. This place is so much more. The people ALWAYS greet me with a smile and kind words, as my tornado of kids fly past them to their designated places to learn and have fun. Jim, the pastor, is a great speaker. His southern accent goes well with his humor. I have felt no pressure to do anything but be welcomed. And it truly is a breath of fresh air. I love learning how much they give outside their walls to the community around them and to afar. If you are "looking" stop by and see if its for you.

Love this place! This church is home. The staff and volunteers are kind and welcoming. There are great things weekly for kids, youth, and adults. God is moving in crazy ways through each and every one of these ministries. I love that I get to be a part of such a wonderful church!

Both my husband and I have been coming to Evergreen Christian Community for two months and have decided to make this church our home. This church has a congregation made up of ALL ages, which is really nice to feel there's a place for you. Going to church is easy. There are three morning services, plus Sunday school for all ages. Everyone is so friendly AND the pastor is approachable. No matter your situation, you are welcome here! I like that I can buy a latte at the church coffee lounge. Between the church Sunday messages and the Sunday school class, we have learned so much. We've made a lot of friends. It is so nice to not feel like a number. At ECC, you really do matter. Oh, I must share one more thing! I attended church on line the last 2 years when I was shut in at my home caring for my mama! This church really cares about everyone in the community.

The very first time (reluctantly doing what was pleasing to my mother), I came to Evergreen, I was absolutely beside myself when it seemed like pastor Jim was speaking right to me. I was moved spiritually, and couldn't deny it. I've not before then encountered someone so that was able to explain and apply scripture to my every day life with such expertise and ease and absolute rawness.( Not to mention, the worship team is AMAZING).I started attending Alpha the next week, and have made Evergreen my home. All of the staff and volunteers have made it super easy to be here. My now husband and his two children attend now and we love how we are treated like family. I was saved last year here before Easter here at Evergreen, and have made lasting friendships in Christ. We are planning a mission trip with a group from here and are so excited! I look forward to all of the adventures that God has in store for us next!!!

We’ve been family here for 7 years. Love everyone, love the teaching, worship, all the different ministries. Tou can get involved at any age or any stage. Their reach is far and they do so much to help each other and the community. I could listen to Jim straight forward preach the Word of God all day long.

Great church! Love the anointed worship. Pastor Jim brings God's truth in a very understandable and applicable way. The only church I have been to in 40 years that doesn't take an offering at each service. They are not after money, but the leadership is truly devoted to discipling those who attend, as the Bible instructs. Would recommend to anyone who is genuinely seeking a deeper walk with the Lord. Wednesday night service is especially anointed.

I’ve been calling EVERYDAY for the past week talking to different receptionists as well as them transferring me to Pastor Michael{Mike) and NOT one return phone call still and Christmas is literally next week. Single mom of 3 been out of work and was VERY sick seen in the ET pretty much lost my voice for almost 2 weeks. I’m feeling much better now and they or he still hasn’t call back. I don’t even know what to say other than what a shame. We will be Praying for this Pastor and their church. Shout up to this other Church for helping my kids and I. God Bless 🙏🙏🙏❤️

This is a wonderful Church Family. My disabled Sister is unable to attend Church unless accompanied by family. It has been an important day for her and my Sisters to attend our Lord’s House to receive our “Spiritual Blessing.” Thank You to the staff & Pastors!

I really love this place and everything about it. The worship has been wonderful. I found it refreshing to worship with fellow believers with songs that are easy to sing along. I love the pounding of the drums. It’s like telling the people it’s time to worship with everything you got. The ministry of the Word has been powerful causing me to reflect on what God is doing in my life. Then the pastor ups and leaves us and the beautiful Pacific Northwest to a place in the Rocky Mountains. It was quite upsetting but the move of God is working out his purpose here on earth with his church so it is incumbent on me to say ‘amen’ and it is God’s will to be done. Last week we heard a wonderful message from the missions pastor so I trust the Lord will continue his blessing to his body of believers. It’s great when we can’t be there physically we can watch church online. I also love the ministry of giving as this church is offering to the congregation to participate. I love the $1 dollar offering that goes out to the community to take care of those in need. I just started tithing our portion, my wife and I, to the church. I’ve gone to this church a smattering of times. Mostly for their Wednesday night service. All those times I went away starving for the presence of God. The previous worship pastor blasted the music and would scream into the microphone until I felt I had some level of head trauma. He was extremely pompous and flashy. After several months, I felt led to give it another chance on 8/2 for the Wed service. That worship pastor isn’t there anymore, and you could genuinely feel God’s sweet presence. The pastor leading the service allowed time for contemplation and seeking God and the worship music was so gentle and humble. This is truly a 180! I really appreciated that pastor and this special service. Truly was a man of God. Thank you so much !
