Stopped at the Mellon Country Inn for dinner on the way home from Donegal with the kids! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so welcome. Their attentiveness was top-notch. And the food? Absolutely outstanding!

Have just returned from here after having my daughters hen do there were 12 of us. I have never been treated so well by all the staff but especially Robert the restaurant manager he was amazing. Robert is such an asset to the hotel. The lady who did our treatment was amazing. All in all I give it a 5. The food was to die for as well as the afternoon tea and such amazing portions. We will definitely be back. Amazing value.

Customer service was not impressive. We arrived around 6.30pm for a one night stay. On arrival we were not greeted with a warm welcome and no one informed us at check-in that the restaurant closed at 7.30pm. Very disappointing because when we went to look about eating shortly after 7.30pm that's when we actually found out that the restaurant was closed. It's nearly impossible to get food delivered there, too, so it was quite a let down with the restaurant closing so early. Hence the 3 stars for service. Bar staff were very helpful and friendly and I have no problem giving them 5 stars . Room was nice and clean.

Hotel is lovely! The food was delicious! Location isn't ideal for anyone who can't drive or doesnt have a car however it's ireland I have no complaints as all!

Absolutely love this hotel. Beautiful location, wonderfully helpful staff, huge clean and comfy rooms with BIG smart TVs- this place has it all! Location is wonderful - close to Omagh and the American folk museum is just down the road. It also sits in one of the most beautiful places of natural beauty I've ever been to. Lots of rural and historic places to explore. Every time I travel here, I always stay here. Restaurant has beautiful food. I recommend anything on the menu as it is all amazing. Hope you are hungry!! Always looking forward to my next stay here.

Just home from a wedding reception in the Mellon. Great day altogether and must say the hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the service wastop quality.

Just called in for a meal service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful just not much on the menu for myself but the husband had a good choice and he enjoyed his meal, my meal was a hit and miss

Food and servers lovely, music a bit loud, but they turned down once requested. Lovely spot, nice relaxing atmosphere...barman good craic too....the small things always make a difference, so thank you for the giggles!

When I arrived my room was flooded I was told so slept in first aidcroom on a camp bed. Thanks to Jaimie the night porter. Much appreciated. Second night Michelle sorted me out a nice big room but no hot water for shower or sink next morning. is what it is. Staff are superb though.

Very clean and comfortable. They do a great Sunday lunch as well if you are around for the weekend or is worth staying about. Really close to the Ulster American folk park.

We stop here when heading to LETTERKENNY. Staff always welcoming, polite, friendly and efficient. We usually have coffee and scones and I would recommend theirs scones.

Running republican events and isolating your local community. This hotel should be ashamed. The area surrounding them suffered massively in the troubles and then you run events featuring rebel singers. Yea great spot alright for family's.

Lovely, just popped in for a quick lunch and had a tasty soup and sandwich special. Very friendly staff. Added bonus that the car was charging as I ate. Great stop off choice.

This was one of my worst experiences at a restaurant. Booked for 6-30. Order taken at 7. Starters arrived 55 minutes later. Then it really goes downhill. As they brought out the dinner I was informed they didn’t have a fillet steak I’d ordered. Two burgers ordered. 1 arrived- raw in the middle. The other didn’t arrive. Child ordered chicken fillet burger. Was given a beef burger which he didn’t want. They then brought out chicken covered in gravy which he ate . Not what he wanted/ordered. The potatoes for 1 steak arrived when the meal was eaten. Still no steak /burger. Eventually the steak arrived when everyone was done and then later on the other burger arrived. Covered in garnish, which they didn’t want. Back to the kitchen again. First Waitress was not pleasant, quite cross/abrupt. Disaster. Also talked to others dining there and they had the same report. Never be there again

Took 45 minutes for the servers to realise that our food order had been misplaced, normally this wouldn’t be an issue however, the restaurant was not busy at all there was maximum five other tables being used. To be fair a discount was given for the mistake but a dessert was discounted instead of a main when the dessert was not the issue. Food was average and the portions were a good size but wouldn’t be hurrying back any time soon.

Had a lovely wedding anniversary lunch there. All of the staff there jolly and happy, and have good rapport with each other. The food is amazingly reasonable and beautifully done, and don't get me started on their own made cheesecake, sooooo yum. Good music choices too. It's a lovely experience with a light and happy vibe, with food reliably enjoyable and a great view. Absolutely love it!

It was difficult sat at a table trying to get the attention of the staff for a drink although they were polite, the food was nice its just the time sat with an empty glass

The barman made our day as twice we had ordered drinks and staff forgot to deliver them but the young barman turned our experience around most grateful to him as day had been great thus far. After waiting 20 minutes for a drink and seeing others served that came after us I was on the verge of walking out.

The extremely friendly staff is a great asset for this hotel . Great breakfast with food being of an excellent quality. Room was clean and only down side was were near kitchen extraction fans and with windows open very noisy as fans started at 07;30, but closing window help to dull the noise greatly. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The food menu had great variety. Would I stay again... Absolutely.

Table set up wrong for a wedding reception which meant that we had to continually ask for items that were missing - huge delay in receiving one person's meal at our table to the point that most other people were finishing eating by the time it arrived. Comment by staff when he was collecting plates 'oh if you would like more just ask' - surely if there were more available they should have come round the tables. Food was acceptable.

First time here. Ordered the roast and it was gammon. It was very nice food and the gravy was delicious. A bit more food on the plate would have been nice but wouldn't stop me going back for more.

Just had a 3 night stay here, the staff where exceptional and couldn't do enough for you. A special thanks to Mandy for all those extra little touches, nothing was too much trouble for her, not forgettig Micky always helpful from pots of tea to an Irish coffee. The food was great and the breakfast would set you up for the day. We will stay there again next time we visit Northern Ireland

Stopped off here for food with my husband and two children. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly. They even said that kids eat for free today for an Easter treat! We will definitely be back!

The best breakfast I had in a long time. Freshly cooked with lovely view from the restaurant. Basic hotel room which was warm. Evening menu good freshly cooked meal. Plenty of parking on a busy road. I will stay again.

Another really good experience in this lovely place! Had a superb late lunch with a relative her on holidays, she had never been here before, so I took her here for a nice change! We had a gorgeous prosecco, followed by a starter of fish cakes which I ate before I remembered to take a photo! Then a delicious battered cod, served with peas as chips and tartar sauce. All the staff were friendly and attentive too. Overall, a fantastic place to stop and wine and dine! Saw some great music events advertised as up and coming, so may be back for some musical entertainment!!
