Sarah, using recent X-rays and CT scan, showed me why I have been experiencing the neck and shoulder pain. We discussed my options, which included both medication and potential surgery. Recognizing that I have a busy summer ahead, we decided to wait to make any long term decisions, because medication serves as a temporary solution. At no time did I feel any pressure to get any immediate surgery, and I am confident that Sarah and my doctor will help me when I am ready. I have scheduled a follow up for later this year.

This place is a total joke! I’ve been there now three times to get different opinions from there orthopedic surgeons in regards to a debilitating spinal deformity. I’ve literally done everything known to man from a conservative standpoint to alleviate my back pain but to no avail! This was my last ditch effort to see if I could be a candidate for surgery. I was seen my Dr. Woodward today and he literally just looked at my X-ray and said that there is nothing that could be done! Hell if Ray Charles saw an X-ray of my spine even he would say my spine is not normal! Doctor Woodward wasn’t very informative either, as it seemed like I was doing most of the talking and asking questions! He didn’t even offer me any type of treatment plan going forward. I had to ask and his reply was pain management with pt. Which I’ve done countless times over the years, and never worked! I left the place in tears today and now am contemplating suicide, as I do not wish to live in misery anymore!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. After reading the reviews for Dr. Longley, I was looking forward to an amazing experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. It started with the physician doing his own X-rays instead of looking at the mri I already had done. He then repeatedly told me that nothing is wrong and that I need to loose weight and that will fix my problem. Every time he spoke to me, he said “I tell people like you” and would finish with constantly talking about my weight. He also told me not to let my other providers put ideas in my head. The only physician with a problem here, is him! Once I left the office I broke down and cried for over an hour. I have never felt so belittled in my entire life. If I can prevent another person from feeling this way, I will! Hopefully this review helps!

Carla is wonderful to work with. She communicated well with me, she listened to and answered my questions and concerns, and she showed me the scans and everything I needed. She explained everything to me medically but also in a way that I was able to understand. I highly recommend Carla.

Tried to make an appointment yesterday due to horrible neck pain. I was told she had to check to see if I was allowed to come back there to be seen because of missing 2 appointments last fall. My Mother just went through a kidney transplant and being an only child I am her only caregiver. I have a son with brain cancer also diagnosed last August. I understand not showing for appointments is frowned upon, but after she told me this and I explained to her the situation she told me I also missed an appointment in 2002!! Over 20 yrs ago! Dr Gill has done 2 surgeries on my husband and we will never come back. The woman I spoke with made me feel horrible, like a bad person. Extremely rude. For trying to find a kidney for my Mother and save her life. Seems a bit extreme especially after paying them thousands for 2 surgeries. If you missed an appointment 20 years ago they will hold it over your head. What a joke.

Waste of time and money. They won’t speak on the phone or through messages, just force you to schedule more appointments if you have a simple question. If it was first or second visit I can understand, but I had 3 visits already and was still confused since my clinical notes for what I needed to do at home mentioned things that we never even discussed during visits. I asked for clarification and was told to schedule another appointment! The pt exercises they gave me ended up doing more harm than good, causing flare ups. Since there was not a recommendation for surgery it seemed like they didn’t care

Easy to get an appointment. Dr. Ladd was very informative at the initial visit. Explained what the problem was, explained in detail various options to address the issue. When I didn't see him personally, his associate was very thorough and knowledgeable with my condition. She offered another course of action to relieve my pain in my neck/arm. When it was time to get my injection, Dr Ladd and his assistances walked me through each step of the way to relieve any concerns and questions I had. The whole experience was Not stressful at all. They make you feel special. They treated me like a Queen. I would highly recommend their services.

Had a great experience, and received relief from the pain and discomfort the same day. Not yet 100% but this is only day one since the injection. At least I can now walk without pain. Was so happy to visit the the doctor the whole time he was doing my injection. Wonderful experience!!!

We went to Nebraska Spine and Pain Center for my FIL who is 84. A previous Dr from another location blew off his stenosis of the spine. Even tho he is 84, he has always been very active, up until the last 2 years. Instead of just letting him deteriorate and have to be sent to live in a nursing home, we'd like to get him back to himself. The cost of full time nursing care would be as expensive as getting the issue fixed and he will end up with a much better quality of life at home with family help. The entire staff was fantastic. The PA explained the scans in great detail that we could easily understand. The Doctor we were scheduled to see, decided very quickly that we needed a surgeon for the severity of issues. He arranged for a meeting same day, same hour. That Doctor also was very efficient and gave us specific information that helped us decide surgery was the best course of action for desired outcome. We were so surprised at how professional and efficient the team was. I've never seen an example of this fantastic dedication to service before. Thank you.

Pat has extremely good bed side manner. He took the time to look through my previous procedures and MRI's and didn't discount my knowledge on my own chronic condition. Was able to get a general plan in place but also made it clear if I needed help immediately to give him a call.

Nurses here are so rude. My husband asked for me to be back with him and they refused. It is not against their policy to have people back in the rooms with you they just don't care about patient comfort. Then they would not update me on his procedure. I am listed as a person to talk to because my husband hates doctors and would rather me do all the talking but the nurses refuse to communicate with anyone that is not the direct patient. For a pain center they are robots that are uncaring. It feels unwelcoming and like they couldn't care less .

A+++ all day. I had the S1-L5 fusion and fully recovered no issues. Before I went in I could not walk across a Walmart without having to sit down because the pain was so bad. John W. McClellan III, M.D. did my the procedure and is the best in my opinion. I have no more pain at all in my back because of him. I would highly recommend Nebraska Spine + Pain. Thanks Again John!

Fantastic team from making appointment to follow up. The doctors care about their patients and want to do what’s best for them. It is the only place I will go for my spinal condition.

This was my Third back Injection with Doctor Ladd, I'm very impressed with how he tells you exactly what he's doing with each and every step. I have been lucky enough to have Amy as his assistant on each visit for injections. She is kind and professional too. Great experience from start to finish.

Dr Longley is everything you would ever ask for in the person that will be operating on your spine. From the first appointment to after the surgery he was a pro. He listens and provides honest answers. I recently went back in a couple years after my big surgery with some new issues and he was the same Pro as before and took great care of me again. I have been coming for a good period of time to take care of a lower back situation. They have nothing but nothing other than caring and helpful and curative. My condition will be with me. They know that and still continue to take care of it and give me Respite from Pain overtime. I would highly recommend Dr. Ladd

I was initially greeted very pleasantly by staff. Physician and staff were responsive to my needs and questions. All staff identified themselves clearly before working with me. They clearly described the next steps of my treatment and what I might expect to see and feel. I was even introduced to the surgical staff by name and their purpose for being there. Questions were clearly answered and encouraged from myself and my family. I was was comfortable all the while in the hospital.

After being in constant pain in my neck and arm I saw Dr. Woodward. He talked to me about my pain, what was causing my pain, and gave me several options to relieve the pain. Dr. Woodward is very personable and compassionate. He took his time with me, listened to my concerns, and questions. I am now pain free. If I ever have issues later in life with my back or neck, I will be going back to him. I am happy with PT and the nurses I had as well. I highly recommend.

Dr. Longley is very knowledgeable and listens to what you say. He always answers all my questions in a way that I can understand. He’s very easy to talk too. He has performed two surgeries on my back and I would refer him to anyone looking for a spine doctor and surgeon.

I felt that Dr Longley really listened, he took the time to listen & understand my concerns. Dr Longley was my third evaluation of my back pain & problems. I was hesitant to have back surgery before seeing Dr Longley. His demeanor and the fact that he listened and took the time to explain things is what made me decide to proceed with his proposed treatment plan.

Went in for back pain and they found the problem right away. But then it was up to me to contact insurance to get a shot approved because after a week of waiting they couldn't be bothered to do it. Then I had to call to get the shot scheduled after waiting another week. The entire time no one knew what was going on. After that I asked what was next and got nothing. No follow ups, no treatment plans or anything. I was told if I want to scheduled an appointment to see about surgery I could. But other than that they were done.

This was my first visit at the pain clinic for back pain. I felt they truly cared about the pain I was having and explained my X-rays perfectly. I will be returning for epidurals and feel confident that I am in good, competent hands.

Very pleased with entire experience and how quickly I was taken to surgery. Everyone was kind, and very caring. I also thought the food was great. My family and I thank you all.

I am so happy that I found Nebraska Spine. Dr Chase Woodward explained the issue I was having thoroughly and what to expect. I just can't say how much better I feel now. Nebraska Spine and Pain Center is an excellent facility. The same goes for the Nebraska Spine Hospital. The hospital staff was extremely attentive and compassionate. All of my expectations were exceeded by the wonderful staff. In particular, Dr. Chase Woodward is a superb doctor and surgeon. Dr. Woodward is a compassionate, caring, and collaborative individual who takes a very conservative approach to treating spinal injuries. Surgery is always considered as a last option. When surgery is necessary, Dr Woodward does an excellent job of providing the best possible outcomes. I recommend Dr Woodward and the Nebraska Spine and Pain Center without reservation. At one week post-surgery I am virtually pain-free and off of all pain medications except for Tylenol. I am walking and sleeping better than I have in months. I am thrilled with the results of my care by Dr Woodward.

Dr woodward was the 3rd opinion I've gotten in relation to my neck issue. He was to the point and only one that offered me a plan of action. Their patient services and nurse had gone beyond to help me with my insurance company.

Dr . West was amazing, explained everything to a T . Spent so much time explaining to my teenager and showing her pictures and scans . Got us in right away got scans done right away , and called us same day with results after hours. Office is very prompt in calling to get you in for appointments also.

What a JOKE! DO NOT SEE DR. HAIN! I had my 4th back surgery on 4/12/23....the 2nd one done by this doctor. After this surgery, he felt that hydrocodone 5/3.25 mg was sufficient in managing my pain...was "afraid" to give anything else. Was so bad that the HOSPITAL took me out from under his pain care! After leaving the hospital, I've only had 1 PT session and 1 post-op (not even with him), NO PAIN MEDS since about 2 weeks afterwards. They would set up these appts and then call to reschedule to a further out date. And I feel it's because he got his feelings hurt and just decided to abandon my care all together. If this is the type of treatment you want, then this is the place and the doctor for you. I pray this review will save at least 1 person from the pain, suffering, confusion and frustration I that I'm still living with 2 mths later. I was left on my own to make it or break it. My advice......RUN! Do not go here!

Was sent here for lower back pain. I had 2 injections . But the pain Started again. Sent to pain management and was told they didn't know why I was sent to them. Paid a 60 copay for a wasted visit. After a few weeks with no return call , I was told maybe I needed to see a rheumatologist. And if I needed to come back I could call. I feel like I was ignored and then passed on to a new specialist. I will seek a new back/spine doctor.

I didn't feel there was a plan after the epidural and this was frustrating for me. It was difficult to get a timely followup appointment, but once I had one, I thought Carla was very thorough and answered questions my daughter and I had. My hope is that the regimen I have been given will be helpful, and the pain will gradually disappear!

The doctors are fine but the nursing staff is lacking greatly. They do not call you back when they say they will. I had to wait two weeks before I finally got a hold of anyone to find out that they hadn't scheduled me for a procedure that I need. Nurses expect you to answer their calls when they call you cannot call back or they won't give you the information. They literally told me they would just call me back tomorrow and if I answer would go over stuff with me.

Cindy was knowledgeable and focused. She helped me get up to speed on my recovery quickly, precisely, and in personable way. I was actually caught off guard how caring and genuinely invested in my recovery she was. I recommend Cindy as a healthcare provider.

PA Erin Strufing if very professional and always takes her time to listen to my concerns. She understands that I am the type of patient that appreciates detailed explanations regarding the medical complexities of my condition. This helps me to learn and be involved with my treatment. All of my experiences have been very professional and Dr. Ladd's procedure in performing his epidural space injections have been mainly no pain. He communicates with you at every step from preparing for the injection through the end of the procedure. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pain management doctor because he is excellent and has great bedside manner.

The doctor is so informative does a great job explaining everything was a great experience. I do recommend him he’s a wonderful doctor with a lot of solutions. Also wanted to mention the front desk staff very very good at what they do very friendly enjoyed coming to the appointment. They always have wonderful smiles.

The facility is run like a well oiled machine. I have never had to wait more than 3 minutes to be seen. Dr. Ladd and his team are so informative and they keep you abreast on what is going on with every step and procedure. The staff is the best!!
