Update:
3
months
later
my
hospital
bill
is
cheaper
than
my
Think
bill.
I
was
charged
$500
for
over
3
visits
of
misdiagnosis
that
put
me
in
the
hospital.
And
this
is
with
insurance....
I
spent
a
lot
of
time
choosing
a
doctor
carefully
because
I
wanted
someone
I
could
trust.
I
loved
my
doctor,
but
her
being
frequently
out
left
me
with
her
nurse
practitioner
which
ended
up
with
me
in
the
ER.
I
came
in
severe
pain
in
my
left
side.
I
could
not
pin
point
it's
location
due
my
entire
left
side
throbbing.
I
arrived
at
urgent
care
and
was
told
I
would
have
to
wait
until
morning
because
there
was
nothing
they
could
do
for
me
because
they
don't
have
the
staff
equipped
at
night
to
look
at
or
address
the
area.
The
nurse
told
me
it
could
be
a
cyst
and
told
me
to
take
ibuprofen
and
acetaminophen
on
and
off.
This
was
Tuesday
and
I
had
been
having
the
pain
since
Saturday.
On
Wednesday
I
finally
showed
up
for
my
morning
appointment
where
they
tried
to
dismiss
my
pain
as
constipation
or
a
UTI.
They
told
me
to
continue
with
the
ibuprofen
and
acetaminophen
and
take
miralax
and
drink
the
smooth
move
tea
I
had.
We
did
an
XRay,
urine
sample,
and
they
told
me
someone
would
call
for
an
ultrasound.
They
called
with
test
results
and
said
I
didn't
have
a
UTI
and
said
my
Xray
showed
some
stool,
but
it
wouldn't
cause
discomfort.
They
said
again
someone
would
call
for
an
ultrasound.
I
waited
for
about
4
hours
before
I
got
tired
and
asked
for
someone
to
please
call
me.
I
was
told
the
nurse
wasn't
answering
and
would
call
me
back.
Finally
they
called
and
they
got
me
in
for
an
ultrasound
at
4:30pm
(my
appointment
was
at
8am
that
morning)
and
I
didn't
recieve
the
results
until
almost
1pm
the
next
day.
Thursday
I
get
the
call
at
1pm.
Your
lab
results
look
fine.
The
ultrasound
lab
tech
made
note
I
made
stool
movement
before
my
appointment.
They
asked
if
I
felt
better.
I
said
no
same
pain
as
before.
I
hadn't
slept.
I
hadn't
been
able
to
eat
or
even
drink.
They
told
me
to
take
miralax.
I
knew
something
was
wrong.
I
was
weak,
dizzy,
couldn't
eat,
couldn't
sleep,
nauseous,
aching.
So
I
went
to
the
ER
and
they
did
a
new
ultrasound,
CT
scan,
urine
analysis,
and
blood
work.
They
found
NO
BOWEL
OBSTRUCTION!!!!!!!
and
ruled
that
it
could
be
a
STOMACH
ULCER.
The
ER
doctor
told
me
to
stop
taking
ibuprofen
because
it
causes
irritation
to
ulcers.
Provided
me
anti
nausea
medicine
and
told
me
to
take
anti
acid
medicine.
Not
once
was
I
given
any
medication
at
Think.
Not
once
did
they
consider
it
was
an
ulcer.
The
moment
my
UTI
was
ruled
out
I
was
treated
as
someone
complaining
of
constipation.
After
taking
the
ER
doctors
advice
I
started
getting
better
after
almost
a
week
of
severe
pain!!!!!!!!
This
isn't
the
first
issue
I've
had.
I'm
on
medication
where
the
side
effects
of
cold
turkey
is
a
possible
seizure.
We
prevent
this
with
monthly
check
ups
to
make
sure
I
can
get
my
refills.
I
went
in
for
my
monthly
check
up,
everything
looks
great
and
they
only
sent
in
a
prescription
refill
for
one
of
my
medications
and
not
the
other.
I
had
to
go
off
the
medicine
for
3
days
wondering
if
I
was
going
to
end
up
in
the
hospital.
Luckily,
i
just
experienced
the
other
side
effects
of
complete
energy
crash
and
slept
non
stop!!!!
And
when
I
called
my
doctor
wasn't
available.
I
was
told
the
on
staff
doctor
would
refill
it
and
it
was
never
refilled.
I
had
to
wait
until
the
next
day
around
10am
and
take
time
off
work
to
pick
up
my
medicine.
And
no
no
one
called
to
explain
what
happend.
Again
i
had
to
wait
3
days
🙃
I
belive
the
staff
is
nice
and
friendly
and
I
loved
my
doctor,
but
I
cannot
come
back
after
this
experience!!!!
They
also
book
appointments
every
15
minutes
which
I
find
so
inefficient.
How
do
you
expect
to
provide
the
best
care
for
patients
in
15
minutes?
I
would
recommend
elsewhere
