I had an unfortunate experience at Think Medical Clinic, which left me deeply dissatisfied with their services. I visited the clinic due to illness and was seen three days in a row, during which multiple tests were conducted. My frustration started with the fact that it took three days for them to diagnose a ruptured appendix, and the subsequent events only added to my dismay. On the third day, after undergoing several tests, the doctor finally contacted me and urgently advised me to go to the emergency room (ER) immediately. I promptly followed the doctor's recommendation and informed them of my intended ER destination. However, my experience at the ER was marred by Think Medical Clinic's negligence. I waited for over six hours at the ER for Think to send copies of the tests that were ran. During this time I called Think three times to inquire about the status of my test results. On all three occasions, I was assured that the results had been sent to the ER. To my astonishment, this turned out to be far from the truth. After hours of waiting and growing concern for my health, my husband drove to Think Medical Clinic in person. He obtained a copy of the test results on a disk. In summary, my experience with Think Medical Clinic was extremely disappointing and frustrating. It took an unacceptable three days to diagnose a ruptured appendix, which should have been identified much sooner. Moreover, their inability to efficiently transmit my test results to the ER, despite multiple assurances, further exacerbated the situation. I cannot in good conscience recommend Think Medical Clinic based on my harrowing experience. When it comes to matters of health and well-being, timely and accurate communication is paramount, and it is clear that this clinic failed to meet those essential standards.

Paid $200 to be told I couldn’t be helped unless I have insurance - the doctor even said “yeah we’re pretty expensive”. Lady on the 3rd floor that checked me in was incredibly helpful and soothing - I believe her name is Dianna. I was then taken back by a “Josh”¿? who was also wonderful! Maybe the doctor was having an off day but my experience with her put me off. I felt like they didn’t even want to help me at that point, unwelcoming aura. What did I even pay $200 for?? I can weigh myself at home for free..

I’ve tried to give this place many chances. A few years ago my anxiety was through the roof and I needed help. My doctor prescribed me medication. After a year I felt loads better. I told her I wanted off the medication because I KNOW I was doing better. Not because of the medication, but for where I was at in life in general. I told her I also wanted to stop because I noticed acne and weight gain and my hair was falling out from this medication. Instead, she prescribed me acne medication that I had to pay $140 out of pocket for and a book called the obesity code that will help me with my weight. OR if I wanted maybe I could get surgery in the future to help with my weight. Needless to say I weaned myself off the medication and I’ve been GREAT. Fast forward to today. I needed a physical for a job. The woman who answered the phone was silent for awhile. Then in the rudest tone said, “I mean. If you’re a patient here you might be able to.” I told her I’ve been there before and she laughed and said “so you have a doctor here?” It was the rudest tone and exchange I’ve ever encountered in healthcare. To which point I hung up because that would have been like arguing with a wall. Useless. They don’t care about their patients and they don’t care to gain new ones. They are a true embarrassment to the healthcare field. It’s quite sad how they treat patients.

I love the idea of having everything in one place and have had good experiences at Think about 4 years ago. However, their service and attention to detail have extremely deteriorated. I have given them so many chances to do better but the last 4 times I have had issues from the doctor clearly not looking into my results until he was sitting in front of me (and struggling to interpret them), making me wait 45+ minutes, rude nurses on the phone, etc. Today the visit went well until it came time to pick up my prescription. Despite me confirming my pharmacy twice to them, the prescriptions were sent to the wrong location. After driving around town for an hour while miserably sick, I found out they only sent one of the prescriptions. So after an hour of extreme discomfort and time away from work, I have to find another time today to drive and get my second prescription and hope it got sent to the right place this time. Clearly the providers at Think don’t care about their patients as they can’t take the time to get the simplest things right.

Dr.Engle and his team are money hungry and don’t care about the patient. There scheduling department made a mistake and wanted me to come back because they can’t see me right now. This is a routine follow up for A1c that could be handled with a phone call and labs but the nurse said it best that the doctor needs to be paid for his time if he is gonna read results. The nurse also stated they would withhold medication refills unless I got labs drawn and saw a doctor. So the money is far more important than patient care or well being. I will be finding a new doctor and will tell everyone to stay clear of this obvious money hungry facility!

I like my primary care doctor just fine, but Think Whole person Healthcare is just another for-profit machine, in which all of us patients are just numbers. Our time is meaningless to this business. My personal experience on two different occasions is that when your in extreme pain in the middle of the night or after hours, you can definitely not rely on this group of doctors to do anything for you. When Covid-19 was at the beginning and fully politicized, when we were all scared, I had an extreme tooth pain, for which I had a specialty dentist appointment the very next day. I called and spoke to a totally unsympathetic person, hopefully not a real nurse, who was totally uncaring about my pain and treated me as if I was an opioid addict shopping for pills. She refused to contact my physician or any on-call doctor to try to help. Her solution was to have me come into an urgent care that was likely full of the very patients that we were all afraid of being around. I complained to their office manager who never even returned my call. They are really quick to cover for each other. This is the second similar situation that I have experienced. They don't care about their patients! But, God forbid you miss one of their appointments, because they will be very quick to send you a nasty letter threatening to drop you as a patient if you are late again. What a laugh! Many of the nurses look like their own health is totally unimportant to them, so how can I rely on people that do not take care of themselves, to take care of me? To the owners and office managers of Think Whole person Healthcare: YOU NEED TO STEP UP YOUR GAME!

Update: 3 months later my hospital bill is cheaper than my Think bill. I was charged $500 for over 3 visits of misdiagnosis that put me in the hospital. And this is with insurance.... I spent a lot of time choosing a doctor carefully because I wanted someone I could trust. I loved my doctor, but her being frequently out left me with her nurse practitioner which ended up with me in the ER. I came in severe pain in my left side. I could not pin point it's location due my entire left side throbbing. I arrived at urgent care and was told I would have to wait until morning because there was nothing they could do for me because they don't have the staff equipped at night to look at or address the area. The nurse told me it could be a cyst and told me to take ibuprofen and acetaminophen on and off. This was Tuesday and I had been having the pain since Saturday. On Wednesday I finally showed up for my morning appointment where they tried to dismiss my pain as constipation or a UTI. They told me to continue with the ibuprofen and acetaminophen and take miralax and drink the smooth move tea I had. We did an XRay, urine sample, and they told me someone would call for an ultrasound. They called with test results and said I didn't have a UTI and said my Xray showed some stool, but it wouldn't cause discomfort. They said again someone would call for an ultrasound. I waited for about 4 hours before I got tired and asked for someone to please call me. I was told the nurse wasn't answering and would call me back. Finally they called and they got me in for an ultrasound at 4:30pm (my appointment was at 8am that morning) and I didn't recieve the results until almost 1pm the next day. Thursday I get the call at 1pm. Your lab results look fine. The ultrasound lab tech made note I made stool movement before my appointment. They asked if I felt better. I said no same pain as before. I hadn't slept. I hadn't been able to eat or even drink. They told me to take miralax. I knew something was wrong. I was weak, dizzy, couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, nauseous, aching. So I went to the ER and they did a new ultrasound, CT scan, urine analysis, and blood work. They found NO BOWEL OBSTRUCTION!!!!!!! and ruled that it could be a STOMACH ULCER. The ER doctor told me to stop taking ibuprofen because it causes irritation to ulcers. Provided me anti nausea medicine and told me to take anti acid medicine. Not once was I given any medication at Think. Not once did they consider it was an ulcer. The moment my UTI was ruled out I was treated as someone complaining of constipation. After taking the ER doctors advice I started getting better after almost a week of severe pain!!!!!!!! This isn't the first issue I've had. I'm on medication where the side effects of cold turkey is a possible seizure. We prevent this with monthly check ups to make sure I can get my refills. I went in for my monthly check up, everything looks great and they only sent in a prescription refill for one of my medications and not the other. I had to go off the medicine for 3 days wondering if I was going to end up in the hospital. Luckily, i just experienced the other side effects of complete energy crash and slept non stop!!!! And when I called my doctor wasn't available. I was told the on staff doctor would refill it and it was never refilled. I had to wait until the next day around 10am and take time off work to pick up my medicine. And no no one called to explain what happend. Again i had to wait 3 days 🙃 I belive the staff is nice and friendly and I loved my doctor, but I cannot come back after this experience!!!! They also book appointments every 15 minutes which I find so inefficient. How do you expect to provide the best care for patients in 15 minutes? I would recommend elsewhere

I’ve been a client for a couple years now and never had a problem until now. As a travel nurse that goes to a new city every 3-6 months, filling up prescription has not been the easiest and Think Whole Person has been working w me. I’m not sure what the person behind the phone is dealing with personally but was very short and rude as I tried requesting a refill with the new appointment set up in place to see Dr. Crowley. It wasn’t even for a new prescription but a medication that I have been on for 10 years. Simple birth control that’s been working perfectly fine for me. I have been communicating through messages on the app, making phone calls, and all encounters have been unprofessional and rude. I love Dr. Crowley but this incident is drawing negative pictures of the clinic as a whole. I tried asking the person behind the phone if I had said something to make her upset or frustrated to understand the intentions but she talked over me and hung up without any follow up. Perhaps training or reminder of how to communicate in a patient-provider/clinic setting may be needed to improve patient experience.

If I could give you zero stars I would. We can agree insurance is confusing.. The man from the vision dept. was so rude, condescending, talked down to me, and worst of all he told me INCORRECT info. Just got off the phone a rep. and medicaid does cover contact lenses. Just in case you're told otherwise. Honestly thanks to that short awful call I won't ever be back or recommend this clinic. Treat people with respect, please.

I was 8 min late and was told I could not be seen. It was frustrating because I had to Uber there just for them to tell me that. I do take accountability but really? Is there no grace period? I Guess not.

I went in months ago for a yearly checkup hoping to find a new primary care doctor. I mentioned I have concerns about some prior mammogram results and Dr Rothgeb said they would get the nurse to collect the results from the other hospital so they could review them. Weeks went by with no contact so i called them to see if they were working on looking into my old results. They didn't seem to be working on it at all, they said they'd call me back once they looked at the old results, over another month now and no calls. I'm definetly not coming back if they can't take a few moments to follow through on a promise.

I had an appointment set up for a first time office visit (I just moved from another state so I needed a new primary doctor) and my health insurance is self pay, which means I pay out of pocket until I reach my deductible. I requested a quote for a first time office visit to get an idea of how much I would be paying and was quoted at "somewhere between $400 and $500." I am shocked. My old doctor was only $100-125 for an office visit. I figured it might be a bit higher, but not possibly 400% more expensive. If you pay out of pocket for any reason, get a quote before going because I will definitely need to find an alternative doctor.

Apparently you have to make new appointments for EACH topic. You can't talk about an INJURY OR DEPRESSION during an annual wellness visit. THAT'S THE POINT OF THE WELLNESS VISIT PEOPLE ,TO TALK ABOUT WHAT IS WRONG.

I don’t care for the Customer Service at this place, you can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone, or give you a return call back if you leave a message.! My Doctor Cheryl Lindley is good , but the Services are BAD on the outside of the Clinic..!

The care at Think can’t be beat. Dr Susan Scholer is the most wonderful, caring physician. PA Jessica Gross is also very good. My experience was great today and always is. From check- in with Michelle, imaging with Rebecca, to Tanya in the gift shop, my experience was so pleasant. I actually enjoy going to my visits at Think! Highly recommend!

I followed my PCP when she moved and she is the only reason I continue to try and deal with this place. Trying to get my prescriptions sent to my mail in program is a nightmare every time. It requires numerous phone calls between the two places and most of the calls to Think go unanswered and with 0 response. I am a human being with health needs not a number. Do better. *left a review from a previous account a year ago and nothing has changed.

I wish everyone in Omaha, the world, could have access to this facility. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable and genuinely seem to want you to feel your best. I'm currently able to come here because of my Medicaid care but I will lose that in May, I hope to find a way to continue seeing my doctor's here under another form of insurance. Thank you to everyone on staff, including the barista that makes a great latte in the coffee shop!

My Primary is ok. I'm not a huge fan of his bed side manner, but at least he got my issues under control. However, today when I went to draw blood i had an awful experience. I told the phlebotomist that I had veins that moved. She was like ok and proceeded to try and find the vein with the needle in my arm. BURNING, SEARING PAIN!! My Primary's nurse came out and was like look some people are good at their job and some aren't; what are you going to do? Made me feel really warm and cared for - NOT!! Be advised that you are a digit on a spreadsheet to them no matter what they try to sell you to the contrary

Drs that are there for This place is a jokespecialty alignments or not trained for for the Doctor's full onset when regular doctors are out for things like maternity leave.I got no relief from the from this fill in nurse. Nothing but problems trying to get my meds filled .

I would not recommend this place at all. Think originally told me my insurance was accepted. Turns out it wasn’t. Now I had to pay $120 for a freaking flu shot! I would’ve went to my provider I’d I would’ve known they would charge this amount. The communication at this place is horrible. Do not call or send anything in the mail to my home.

I’ve been getting rescheduled now for the same appointment for over a month now and at this point I have fully canceled it because this is absolutely ridiculous. My yearly physical shouldn’t be getting canceled the day of 3 times in a row. I was going in to talk to them about my mental state and throughout one month it’s only gotten worse. I’m not waiting another week for something that would have taken simply 5 minutes of their time. Time to find a new doctor.

Dr. David Thompson and Dr. Tim Meyer are the best Doctors I have at Think Whole Person. They make you feel very cared for. I know I can trust them and they care for me totally. They allow me to fully express all my needs and concerns. Both are very soft spoken and gentle. They both go above and beyond and cover everything and more that I didn’t know could be cared for. I highly recommend them to everyone. I am blessed to have such caring medical professionals.
