This Place Is Nothing But A Front. The Management Are Fakes And Racist. They Allow The Nurses To Put Down And HARASS Their CNAs. The Residents Do Not Get The Proper Care They Need And Their Charging Was False. This Facility Abuse Their Power And Uses It As Their Personal Piggy Bank. Yes It's Always Clean But Only From What The Naked Eye Can See. I Would Never Recommend ANYONE To This Facility. The Resident Wishes Are Never Made And The Use Their Higher Power To Cover It Up. They Can't Keep Any Staff Because Of Their Cruel And Abusive Way. Pay Attention When Using This Facility Because They Will Fool You!!!👎

My Mother is currently a resident. She broke her hip at this facility and recently molested by a male resident. Adult Protection Agency suggested we move her elsewhere. She is 91, in a wheelchair and has Alzheimer's. Tough for us to do at her phase in her life. Our Mother should be SAFE anywhere.

You can be a hard worker here, but if anything happens they will throw you under the bus. The leadership does not have your back when dealing with behavioral residents, which they have a lot of. They did not pay me money owed. Approx. 1500-2000k$. This place is a high risk for injury both to the resident and the care giver. Very sad.

X All the staff are all absolute angels of mercy and sprinkle Angle dust wherever they go in facilitating Special care and love to our loved ones who are immobilized by all timers disease and old age in nursing homes. They allow a safe place during the day and do their best to maintain some normal living conditions for my Mom. thank you Hillcrest for being so good to Mary Meininger! Clear skies, FWH

My 93 yr old dad is in rehab at Maplecrest for almost 3 months now. He has been treated with dignity & respect & excellent care. He needs a memory care facility which can also address multiple medical problems. After conferring with my family, we have decided to keep him at Maplecrest in their Memory Care facility for the very best care with compassion. I have no doubt that we have made the best decision for our dad & that he will continue to receive the highest quality of competent, loving care available in his last years Kudos to the staff at Maplecrest from administrators to nurses & aides & the many people it takes to deliver quality, dignified care with a huge dose of compassion & understanding. You are all a godsend to our family & our dear father. Bless your tender, capable hearts 💞 💞💞

Horrible place. Some of the workers and CNA's are not qualified to work there. 1 year ago they left my mother in law unattended and she died.

My Aunt passed away there on Valentines Day 2008. I had moved out of state 24 hrs away in 2004 and when I left she had her own apartment and was independent like she had been her whole life. She did suffer in her latter years from high calcium since she did have her thyroid out when she was young. While I was still in Omaha I was there to help her get to the hospital both times because she was acting strangely. They would get her calcium regulated and after a few days would send her home with her pills to take. In 2006 or 2007 She was taken to a different hospital which was not familiar with her case. Still living out of state I was unable to help her this time, but I thought this different hospital would diagnose her correctly. They diagnosed her with dementia and the symptoms are also the same when calcium is too low a lot of confusion, etc. They said she could no longer live alone. At that time I didn't put 2 and 2 together about the calcium or even later until I received her death certificate. Since I was no longer living in Omaha another relative got her settled at Maple Crest. I visited twice when I came back to Omaha while she was there and the first time I couldn't believe how she changed. I have to say I never witnessed anything bad when I was there. When she died in 2008 a couple of representatives from Maple Crest came to her funeral which was a very nice gesture and made feel good thinking she had been important while she was there. When I asked what she died from they seemed nervous and they couldn't really tell me they just said she went in her sleep. On her death certificate it stated she died due to hypocalcemia. I would think the nursing home would have been regulating her meds. When I was back in VA after I received her death certificate, I tried multiple times to speak with the doctor at Maple Crest but never had my calls returned. This was in 2008 and things may have changed, but I still think she didn't receive the correct medication. I was going to pursue it, but she was gone and I lived so far away there was so much red tape just to try to get her transferred to VA with me. She passed before I could. The nervousness of the representatives at her funeral and never being able to speak to the doctor or no return phone call ever no matter how many times I called has always made be feel uneasy about the whole thing unfortunately.

I would not recommend this facility unless your loved one will only be living at the facility for a short time. I had two loved ones that lived here until they left our world. The nursing staff is short staffed like every where. Almost all the nursing staff was very rude, short with residents, family and NEVER listened. Our family had to endure our loved ones going through hospice here. I will say JUST DON'T put your loved one here if that's the case. They will not inform you of what's going on, they will not treat your loved one kindly, nor will a nurse sit with them. Our family member was unable to speak for themselves and couldn't hit the call button. No matter how many times we stressed this to staff, hospice or management nothing was done. We took shifts staying there to make sure they were taken care of. I was with my loved one when they passed, the nurse laughed when i asked if they could check to be sure. Made a joke left the room, gave no condolences and said they had to wait for hospice to call time of death. Left me sitting by myself until other family nember got there and it was almost an hour before hospice finally showed up.Maplecrest never reached out, when we went there to pick up belongings they didn't even know they had passed. It's amazing how a person can be forgotten about so quickly after living there for years. Our family still has never received a word from them about our loss.

My brother had been in this facility going on three years now. The first facility that he was in he was in and out of the hospital nine months it of the year that he was there. Since he had been in Maplecrest he had only been back to the hospital three times. I would say that is proof that Maplecrest takes great care with their residents. I have been happy with most of the care he is receiving. Like everything in life, sometime soon the line we will not be able to make everyone happy all the time and someone is going to complain about something. Since my brother has been at the facility more instead of being in the hospital I personally am satisfied with his care at the facility. Keep up the great care.
