Had soooo many billing/coding issues. Was billed 9,000, I called insurance and ortho many times and they looked into it. Took 2 years and we were so done with it. Then we get a bill for 918.00. So I explained to billing how the situation was so stressful and I actually got a really pleasant experience with Shirley in billing. She was very kind and calm and she brought my review up from a 1 star to 4. The surgery went well (ACL repair and meniscusfor my husband) and in the end, felt like Shirley listened to me and actually heard me about the billing stress.

Everything has just been so incredibly smooth from the beginning here. From appointments to outpatient surgery to help with getting medical records. Every single person I’ve interacted with has been professional, patient and always willing to answer all my questions. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Ortho Nebraska.

My mother in law had knee surgery here. The staff were amazing, compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficient from beginning to end. They communicated really well and were very responsive to our needs.

I recently had a total knee replacement at The Ortho Nebraska Hospital. I found all staff members to be pleasant, polite, prompt and sincere about my recovery. I'm very impressed with this facility and staff. I give them my highest recommendation!

This hospital is amazing! I broke my fibula ice skating the day before Thanksgiving. After receiving the worst care at Methodist ER I searched for an orthopedic specialist and came across OrthoNebraska. That Friday I went to their urgent care and they gave me a boot to wear until I could get in to see a specialist. They were able to schedule me an appointment with Dr. Grosshans that Monday and I was scheduled for surgery the very next afternoon. First of all I just want to say that Dr. Grosshans and his P.A are wonderful. They have the best bedside manner and explained my injury thoroughly as well as how they were going to repair it. At the hospital I was treated like a queen. Every single nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, tech, and staff member was so kind. They made me feel at ease and were just such a delight to be around. They made sure I was warm enough, always asking if I needed help with anything, the list goes on. After surgery my nurse fed me crackers to help with nausea and immediately helped get my pain under control. Then they offered me bagels and anything I wanted to drink. I was amazed at the level of care and compassion they provided. I would highly recommend this hospital as well as their doctors offices and urgent care clinics! 10/10! If any staff that was involved in taking care of me read this Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!. Yall are wonderful and I appreciate everything you have done for me!

I requested my medical records be sent to another doctor and surgical staff and the request went very smoothly and efficiently. I live 6 hours from Omaha and was able to do everything online with no extra mailings or phone calls. Thank you!

I am not big on reviews however I really feel this is extremely important. This was the Best experience I have had with any surgery I have had. From Dr Jassim and his team. The receptionist who checked me in the nurse's that had prepped me before surgery the pain Dr nurses in the OR and recovery Day shift nurses and the Night shift Nurses Abbey and Lizzy to the housecleaning nurse Abbey said it best they all try to work as a team. Just had hip surgery there yesterday. It was the absolute best experience! Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The anesthesiologist called me the day before so we could come up with an anesthesia plan that would eliminat my nausea... which no anesthesiologist had ever done before. I would highly recommended them!

OrthoNebraska is old-school in all the best ways: from the front desk staff at UrgentCare to the discharge team at surgery, everybody showed care and competence. I was seen for a Maisonneuve Fracture & the communication between the medical teams made the process easy and better than I imagined. All along the way, my expectations were set and people followed through. Thanks to OrthoNebraska we no longer have settle for medical mediocrity!

I held off a bit before leaving a review because of billing that will be coming up soon, and Im hoping all will go smoothly. I had ankle surgery in early July with Dr. Mike Thompson. From initial check-in my lady was so nice and accommodating. She took us into the office and got us checked in and onto the next stage of pre-surgery. I was taking back to change into gown, another outstanding team member. The entire surgical team was empathetic and amazing! I was in quite a bit of pain waking up from surgery but they were able to give me something to help. Checkout a breeze. I even received a card signed and personalized from the nurses that were there that day. I hope the billing part goes without a hitch. Great hospital & staff.

Very friendly, caring staff. Made my brother and I very comfortable and at ease with his hand surgery!

Very disappointed with my last phone call with billing . SMH when a person is asking about there billing. We shouldn’t have to give a reason. Then get shot down for the reason. It doesn’t matter why a person need a copy of a bill.
