I came to the midwives 7 months pregnant after a brutal situation with my former ob. I had my second child with the midwives and they are amazing. My favorite is Kate Scott, they are all caring. But when I gained 30+ pounds with my second child instead of congratulating me at discharge I was criticized. There was no hug, there was only taking about my weight and its a problem. I also didn't appreciate staying 3 days with my second child while others got to go home. I had to wait until 6 pm to finally go home. I cried my heart out, but in the end it make me stronger because I learned to take care of myself. Some of the midwives will take there time with you and really be gentle with you. That means the world to me. I love them all but thank you Kate.

They took ultrasounds each time and said they couldn't find nothing and said I had a vaginal discharge infection. They guessed on everything. So unprofessional.I found out from Creighton hospital that it was a urine infection that could lead to miscarriage. Do not go there. I'm going to sue them for this. If it wasn't for Creighton, I would of lost my baby

I absolutely love coming here. I see Dr. Carlson and she is so sweet and easy going. She really takes the time to answer all of your questions. I deal with a lot of pregnancy anxiety and she eases my mind and makes sure I’m getting the care I need every time. I am very happy to be having my baby at Nebraska Medicine in just 7 short weeks!!

I had the privilege of giving birth to my 3rd baby at the Olsen Center in 2020. The team of women there were absolutely wonderful. Although I didn't get the privilege of having Dr. Karen Carlson deliver my 4th baby, I did have the privilege to be under her care for several months. She was a compassionate and understanding doctor. I appreciate her nurses. They were also very friendly and genuinely kind.

Very slow at getting back to me when I need a prescription. Talked to 2 people and they said they would get back to me and still have heard from them.

Every staff member has been incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Kinyoun is a fantastic doctor and will definitely continue to see her for all my future gyn appointments!

If I could give zero I would have! This is the worst hospital. It’s now 2:03pm! My appointment was at 1pm! I waited 30 minutes just to be called in into my room and now waited another 35 minutes and I still haven’t been seen! This hospital doesn’t care about their patience because they are too big to fail! Worst mistake coming here for my OBGYN care. I have had the worst experience every time I come here.

My primary care provider moved to a different practice and they didn't assign me a new one, and they lost track of all my prescriptions and appointments. Called for assistance and they were rude to me on the phone

Based on our experience with Tanya we will never return again! The rudest person possible to greet us. I’m shocked anyone would put her in a customer service position! She likes to be large and in charge! Beware……who only knows what’s inside!!

I absolutely love the Olson Center. Dr. Carlson is one of the, if not the best, doctor I’ve ever had in my life. The staff are welcoming and friendly! I would recommend it to anyone.

If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I had the most embarrassing worst experience I've ever had in a doctors office. They aloud a student to "probe" me as the doctor called it. I was never asked if I wanted a student and while she was probing there were 3 people in the room I expressed my discomfort and was told it was necessary due to the procedure being done. I thought theyd make it as quick as possible and it dragged on as the student prowled around in my lady bits. And as some unknown person...nurse? Doctor? Stood and watched! The doctor had to tell the student where to probe and shed swim around till she got it right. She even whipped the device out with no warning. Afterwards the doctor told me to call immediately if there was spotting which I had a lot of probably due to the brutish nature the student used the probe. I called and called no response from the doctor or nurse i had to go to the er I was so worried. Do not go here unless you want to be totally embarrassed and scared especially for a first timer...Coming back here almost a full month later to add they just now charged me 600 dollars for this horrific experience. What a joke.

I wish I would have caught the name of the receptionist that I spoke with. She was extremely rude, unprofessional, and invasive. I called to schedule an appointment as a first-time patient. I asked to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist, she rudely replies "for what? you want to make a first-time appointment for what? are you in pain? are you pregnant? for what?" I should have hung up the phone right then. But I continued on with the conversation and she was short and insincere. At the end I asked to know what medical provider my appointment would be with, and that really annoyed her. (??) She quickly told me the name of the provider, and as I said thank you (and was going to finish with 'have a good day') she cut me off with "Mhm" and hung up the phone. It gave me such a bad impression that I called right back (and another receptionist answered) and cancelled my appointment. She needs to receive some extra training or find a different position. Terrible customer service for this center.

This is a great hospital. Love the Olson center. Midwives are always amazing. My only complaint is for the laboratory staff. When you have to come in a third time to drop off pee, because the first time they lost it and the second time they spilt it, it’s pretty ridiculous. Other then that, it’s a pretty great hospital.
