The first time I went to this urgent care location it was amazing. Every time after that was a terrible experience. I took my 1 year old here for an ear infection. They told me she did NOT have an ear infection. I took her to childrenā€™s hospital to get a second opinion and she had a DOUBLE ear infection!!! The following two times I have gone they turned me away because they were ā€œdone seeing patients for the night.ā€ The first time I was there at 9pm, the second time 9:22pm. The second time I was sitting in my car I saw a couple go in, walk to the counter and GET CHECKED IN !!! What happened to youā€™re done taking patients ??? Why say youā€™re open until 10 if you start turning patients away at 9???

Called at 9:10pm to see if any urgent cares were open and had availability to see my daughter. Was told to go to Aksaeben location. Got there at 9:30pm and was turned away. They told me to go to Millard location. I called again to make sure we could be seen if I drove out there. Was transferred to that location and the rude lady I spoke to said no that even though they had nobody waiting they couldnā€™t take her because I wouldnā€™t make it there by 9:45pm. Very poor customer service and a complete waste of time and running around with my daughter who was in a lot of pain.

The front desk lady is super friendly. The wait also wasn't too bad. But the nurse practitioner that saw her completely disregarded my concerns and what I took my daughter in for (croup). I knew my daughter would benefit from a steroid, but she did not give one ounce of caring. She basically said if she gets worse tonight then take her into the ER. I went to the office to avoid the ER. Golly. So disappointed and annoyed. It was a complete waste of my time. Not returning to this location again.

The nurse and receptionist were really good. The provider did not listen to me. Slapped a piece of gauze and tape to which caused it to bleed terrible provider

The receptionist tonight and nurses were very nice caring and helpful but the nurse practitioner needs to lose her job and license! Never have I ever brought myself or my kids to an urgent care and had any negative experience like this before. This is the SECOND time in 3-4 months my oldest has been refused care from this location but it will be the last unless actions meet promises. My son came in for a VALID urgent care reason and the nurse practitioner completely disregarded the urgency of the matter AND refused to provide a much needed doctors note for school and work. When I refused to accept her ā€œI canā€™t provide a doctors note because Iā€™m not allowedā€ statement I told her that was a lie and she got on a power trip telling the nurses to not bill for the charges and to put us on the ā€œNo Contact/Serviceā€ list and telling me that if I donā€™t like what she says I can take my son somewhere else. Looking at the reviews, this is clearly not the first incident but it should be the last. I immediately asked the nurses and receptionist for a number to call to file a complaint and they took my info to forward it to someone APOLOGIZING for her lack of professionalism. I do have a degree in healthcare and if I worked at this very same clinic as this nurse practitioner, I would be ashamed and embarrassed. I have already called the urgent care operator who was shocked to hear of my sonā€™s and my experience and who was eager to assist with me to filing a complaint and I am at the ER now with my son for a non-emergency visit that is not only wasting emergency medical staffā€™s time from treating more serious medical encounters, but causing our insurance to be billed at a significantly higher rate than normal, just so my son can receive medical care that he needs and deserves. If any medical professional doesnā€™t care to perform their duties within their role then they should not be in the medical field. My other son has been treated at other urgent care clinics within Methodist for the same things my oldest has tried to be seen for at this clinic and at age 16 he shouldnā€™t be wondering why a medical professional has a problem treating him. Like I said, this is the SECOND time that this has happened to him AT THIS facility and itā€™s sad to read other reviews from other patients receiving the same level of unprofessionalism. The ER staff were very understanding and provided the care and service my son needed including the doctors note, thankfully, but unless the leadership within the Methodist system rectifies this recurring problem with this unethical medical professional then the whole network will lose my and many othersā€™ trust to handle our medical care. Being a medical professional should be a passion to care for and help others enhance or improve their quality of life not treat patients like theyā€™re just a number or that theyā€™re not important enough to receive the medical care they need and deserve. The ONLY reason this facility has a 1 star is because 1)you canā€™t leave a no star review and 2) the receptionist and nurse assistants were the only ethical professionals.

My daughter was seen Sunday Aug 1st and it was her 1st time at this Aksarben location. I called and requested that a fax be sent to her daycare stating she was seen, and what for as it is required for my child to return to daycare. I gave the fax # and everything. Here I am sitting now until 10 due to the fact that nothing was faxed and I now I have to sit here from 8am to 10am just to have this simple task completed, when it already should have been taken care of! They need to open earlier, or the staff needs to be sure to give a print off of the visit before a client leaves, or send the fax when it's asked!

Used this urgent care about a year ago for the first time, they ended up sending me away saying that I didnā€™t have a foreign object in my toe, which is what I can for. Ended up in the er about two hours later and they removed the exact object that the urgent care said they didnā€™t have. I tried going back today for a different issue, because itā€™s the closest urgent care. I called to make sure they were open and they told me they took patients until 945pm, only to get there and for them to be closed at 9:10pm.

As a healthcare worker, I value a clinic that is professional and streamlines the triage process. I was seen immediately and diagnosed quickly. From this personal experience I can highly recommend this urgent care site.

Every time that I have gone has been a nice experience. From a twisted ankle to a cold. Everyone is always nice and listens to me when I have a concern or more questions.

Every single "Health Care" Worker that works here, has never done things correctly my other half keeps getting turned away as an urgent care is supposed to clinically get checks and tests done to verify while an er is for an emergency. They do not do every single check correctly weather if it's listening to lungs, heart, or even vital checks. I feel there has been several cases of malpractices going within Aksarben Methodists "Urgent care" and they either need to be reevaluated by the board or permanently taken out of commission from the medical area. Unresponsible and uncaring paycheck cared for individuals with the lack and desire to help those medically in need. Wouldn't suggest bringing children here either, our son was diagnosed with RSV without being treated or tested for RSV. Was barely in a patient's room for longer then 5 mins.

I waited for 2 hours even after scheduling online, but I can understand that in the middle of COVID/flu season. I was diagnosed with an ear infection and the provider told me that she was sending in 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy. As an adult, ear infections are painful, and I had a small rupture of my eardrumā€¦meaning Iā€™d like to start my prescriptions as quickly as possible. Four hours after I left the clinic, my prescriptions still were not send to my pharmacy. I called the clinic and was told that the staff was behind on charting due to an emergency and that they would send the prescription over. The staff was friendly and helpful, but Iā€™m disappointed that there seemed to be no sense of urgency to send the prescriptions to the pharmacy. Every medication thatā€™s prescribed these days is sent electronically and most providers send it from the computer in the exam room right away. Why wasnā€™t that done in this case?

This is ridiculous. This place is supposed to open up at 10a.m. Well apparently the provider hasnā€™t shown up yet, so me and other people are standing outside because they canā€™t open the doors until a provider shows up. This is my first time here and my last time.

I took my granddaughter here because her throat was sore and she had a fever! IF YOU CAN PLEASE DONT GO HERE!! i FELT LIKE I WAS RUSHED AND THEY DIDNT CARE ABOUT MY CONCERNS FRO MY 7YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER I get it because of the lack of staff you dont get the same service because God the shortage of medical staff is sacred! But WOW, we asked for paper work showing here test results came back negative and were told today they didnt have time to email the results - I could have come to pick them up after being transferred to the 7th person that told me to hold. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE IF YOU CAN GO TO THE EMERGENCY OR YOUR DOCTOR! THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS RUDE JUST RUDE!!!!!!!

Was standing in the lobby holding a crying 5 year old with a terrible ear ache at 5:40 pm and was turned away because they close at 6 and they already had enough patients for the day. I know the work force is hurting but holy cow please hire some staff that is at least a little competent as well as compassionate. At least fake you care for the families sake.

This was the most unpleasant dr office visit I have ever had. The entire visit was completley rushed. From check in to check out it took all of 15 minutes. The nurse practicioner "Samantha Harris" is the rudest nurse I've ever met in my life. I was trying to explain what was going on with my dad and how his symptoms were progressively getting worse. Before I could get out a sentence, she stopped me & told me that she didnt want to speak with me, only him. I said to her "ma'am you dont have to be rude to me." Her reply was, "he'a an adult, not a child, he can speak for himself." I am black, my dad is white so I don't know if her behavior was a racial thing, but I was completely appalled by how rude she truly was to me. Normally I would've clapped back, but this took me by such shock. She didn't give him a diagnoses for his pain, all she did was prescribe him muscle relaxers and sent him out the door. I explained to her that he can't swallow pills and she said to take him somewhere else then. Samantha Harris (nurse practitioner) is the absolute worse of the worse and I do not recommend her to anyone.... especially if you are BLACK (African American).

The staff are very nice. I never have to wait to long to be seen. Doctor's listens to you, which is upmost importance. This is the only place I come to when I need can't get in to see my physician.

Pretty disappointed with my visit today. I tested positive for Covid today, after being sick the last week. Iā€™ve been running a 103 temp despite medicine and my chest is insanely tight and Iā€™m short of breath. Instead of going to talk to the doctor, the receptionist told me ā€œsorry nothing we can do.ā€ I was told last week to come back in if a cough persisted from last week. She was very snappy with me. I usually have a good experience but when I tell you Iā€™m short of breath, you shouldnā€™t turn me away.

I took my Dad for a cough. He thought he needed emergency. I convinced him to try urgent care. I am soooo thankful for these people! We came in early Saturday afternoon and waited, maybe, 15 minutes. The reception was welcoming and very friendly and the NP was knowledgeable and very friendly. She called in prescriptions, did not push Covid, and sent us on our way! Will definitely use again!
