Where do I start?! Such an incredible experience working with Mariah! From the stellar prenatal support, to going overdue 2 weeks, she was there through it all! Even a follow up postnatal visit to process the beautiful birth. So helpful with laboring from home, she let my husband and I feel like we could really focus on each other. She brought a sense of calm and peace we didn’t know we needed. What a gift to be able to focus on each other during the biggest moment of our lives! Thank you, will hire again in a heartbeat!

After searching for a doula in the Omaha area and finding and talking to many options, I talked with Mariah and am so thankful for finding her. I can't say enough good things about Mariah. During pregnancy Mariah was so helpful with all of my questions and concerns. During my labor Mariah was so supportive and encouraging. She supported me in all of my wants and decisions and was an advocate for me. I had a long labor and Mariah was there through all of it and never showed tiredness or impatience. She is very knowledgeable in breastfeeding and birth and has helped me tremendously in both of those areas. She was always very easy to get ahold of and made sure she could be reached at all times. I am extremely thankful for her and all of the ways she helped me. After having a traumatic unplanned c-section with my first baby, I was able to have a VBAC this time around and this was also the first time I had a doula. I wish more than anything that I would have had Mariah for my first labor because just having her support has been phenomenal. Even now that I've had my baby, we still keep in touch and I consider her a true friend. She is truly an amazing person and birth coach! I HIGHLY recommend!

I had a birth and postpartum doula from the baby nest and I highly highly recommend the nest. Kinsey was an incredible birth doula and I had a phenomenal birth experience. If you’re ever wondering whether you need a doula don’t second guess it. The postpartum doulas make the recovery process so much better. I can’t recommend the Nest enough the doulas are phenomenal and you can truly tell they care about their clients.

Mariah has helped me out in many aspects! She supported me during my pregnancy, I took her breastfeeding class, she did a in home breast feeding consult, and she has done a meal prep session for us! I cannot say enough good things about this woman. She is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and flexible. If you’re wondering whether or not her services will be beneficial, rest assured you will not be disappointed!!

Mariah’s services were a baby gift from a former employer - BEST gift ever! It was wonderful having her care for the baby, prep meals for us, and more. I knew my little girl was in great and trustworthy hands so I could rest or go out for some “me” time. And the food was SO delicious! Mariah has such great advice and is the gentle listener a woman needs postpartum. Highly recommend!

Mariah and The Omaha Baby Nest team made our daughter's entrance into the world magical. My birth story was perfect thanks to their unwavering and unmatched support. Mariah stayed by my side in the hospital each and every moment, and her very presence was so reassuring to both me and my husband. I can't imagine going through such an experience without them, and if you're questioning whether or not to have a birth doula at your hospital birth, I can say it is 100% worth it!

Mariah is amazing! She came to my house to do a food prep session and made four extremely delicious meals for my family. It's so helpful and allows us to easily make a lunch or dinner without any food prep. She was so polite and cleaned up as she went so the kitchen felt clean and organized. She was great to talk to as well. Super kind and thoughtful. We talked about life, parenting, birth, and so much more. I highly recommend scheduling a food prep session (or any service) with her :).

Mariah is amazing! I had a few hiccups early on with breastfeeding. I messaged Mariah and was able to meet with her within 24hrs! She was very informative and very helpful. I was able to fix the issues within a week! I definitely recommend her to any new moms who are struggling with breastfeeding or need more information on it. She’s the best!

I was blessed to have Mariah as a Birth Doula. Though I have an awesome husband, I had indication early in my pregnancy that I would need another supporter during labor and delivery. I studied HypnoBirthing, and Mariah was very kind, adaptive, and respectful of my approach. She made an effort to be versed in the system I was trained in. When it came time in my labor for Mariah to come, I felt like an angel 👼 had arrived on the scene. From suggesting new poses to using essential oils at the right time to massage to the application of heat packs, Mariah made my natural labor (induced by pitocin) more measured and bearable. There were moments of joy and empathy. In the end, Mariah’s sweet and strong eyes and voice coaxed me to the finish line. Without giving away the sanctity of what we experienced, my main message is I wish I could give Mariah a million dollars for helping me achieve the birth I wanted. Two weeks into postpartum, I’m blessed with a calm baby and feel Mariah’s contribution to my birthing experience got us off on the right foot.

Hiring a postpartum doula is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I am so glad to have found the Omaha Baby Nest and having Tracy for support after my daughter came home from the hospital after a long NICU stay. She cared for my baby at night so I could have some much-needed sleep. I know that my anxiety would have kept me awake or restless if I didn’t have someone I completely trusted with my baby. She gave us a lot of tips on how to reduce spitting up, feeding, swaddling, helped us organize things around the house, cleaned bottles and pumping supplies too. Having someone there to ease my mind and help lighten the workload around the house during the postpartum period is invaluable to me and my family. 100% recommend OBN for doula services.

We had Alisa and Mariah as postpartum doulas for many months after my twins were born. The support and care they provided was unmatched. They felt like family coming in to care for me and my children.
