From Bad to Good! Been here twice once years ago that bill turned out to be over 800 bucks and all I had was a cough !! Had to go back about a year ago and it was under NEW MANAGEMENT, they looked at the past bill and said to me this is Ridiculous they said I had been gouged and they were dismissing the bill! (Thank you Brad) Over all experience was great the 2nd time around. Jennifer at the front desk was awesome and the doctor was great! I did feel welcomed, and most importantly they took good care of me and didn't charge me for stuff they didn't do like they did under the old management !!

Don’t go here. Went for stitches for minor laceration. Staff was friendly enough but stitches immediately came loose when i got home and cut began to bleed. By this time the minor med had closed so only option was to go to full blown ER at Methodist. They removed all stitches and replaced them, luckily i was still numb from first go round. I was billed $700 by Methodist but i cannot get minor med admin office to return my call or reverse my charges from them. They also don’t seem to be too interested in following up medically on what went wrong to improve their medical staff competency. Have had to call and email admin staff and all they can tell me that it is out of their hands escalated to manager but will not supply name but only offering that they will pass my note along. I am going on 2 months since this occurred. Save yourself the headaches and seek real medical care from a qualified provider. Methodist Hospital did a wonderful job all the way around.

Please, do yourself & your kids a favor and don’t take them here. I’ve gone here a few times with no issues, however yesterday I took my 4 year old daughter in around 6. Waited 30 mins in the lobby while listening to them have a conversation, when the receptionist finally came out she was really rude. When they finally got us back my daughter had a temp of 102 and was falling asleep while they were talking to us. They looked her over and diagnosed her with a double ear infection and tonsillitis, gave us a prescription and sent us home. That night my daughter started vomiting blood, we took her in to children’s ER and they couldn’t believe the nurse practitioner didn’t send us in to the Er immediately. Turns out her ears aren’t that bad at all, her tonsillitis was so severe we had to have additional imaging to see if she would need emergency surgery. They told us we were very lucky as she wouldn’t need it. Also, they got the dosing wrong. At children’s they told us to only give her the antibiotic once a day, at Midwest we were told to give it twice a day. Not sure why. My daughter also had to stay in the hospital with an IV for fluids because the drs said she was so sick. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. We were lucky, it could’ve been a lot worse & they obviously weren’t equipped to see how bad the situation really was. Also while my daughter is so severely sick, the receptionist continually gave me attitude and treated us terribly. Never ever will go back and that’s sad because this place used to be my go to.

All fine, but I thought I would be seeing a doctor--instead it was a nurse practitioner. I think for $185 for a 10 minute evaluation, we should be able to see a medical doctor. They always used to have real doctors at this facility. They should at least inform you when you check in that there is not a medical doctor, then allow you to make an informed decision before you invest time in the waiting room and money for the visit.

I got in sooner than I would have at Crossroads Urgent Care, and I really liked the doctor Simone Assaad. The staff was super friendly and nice, too! I’ll be coming here the next time I’m sick.

I like this clinic a lot. The staff and P.A.'s are always very friendly and kind. They do a great job and really listen to your reason for being there. We have never had a wait and we have been there at different times of the day. Very pleased with the care my daughter has received.

I love coming to Midwest Minor Medical! The hours are great and I always have a great visit experience here. The nurses and doctors are very knowledgeable, as well as the staff at the front desk. I've come in a few times now, and they've never disappointed. They also call you a few days after your visit to see how you're feeling! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had to get stitches today. I’ve never had them so it was safe to say I was very nervous and upset. They were so nice and the Dr walked me through everything and was so understanding. It went so smoothly and I was out of there in less than an hour. Dr. Simone was amazing!!!! ❤️ (Sorry if I spelled the name wrong)

I have been to several clinics around town for various reasons, I can honestly say this is the only one that seems to genuinely care for the patients. The receptionist was not only friendly but also tried to help me find a cheaper alternative since I am a cash pay client. After visiting a couple of the other clinics, I came back to this one solely based on the attitude of the receptionist. The experience with the doctor was also a positive one, he went above and beyond the normal call of duty to help me with not only the issue I was there for, but also another issue I had been dealing with long term. He called several pharmacies and even compounding centers to try to find me a specific medication, but unfortunately it isn't locally available. But even after that he spent several days trying to find a way for me to get what I need. This was the best experience I've had with doctors, typically I won't even go unless I feel like I'm dying due to the terrible experiences I've had with other doctors incompetence and corrupt billing. Now I finally feel like I have a place to go to that will actually try to help. And unlike CHI, I recieved no surprises on my bill. They were upfront about the cash pay cost and even though slightly more expensive than the alternatives, well worth it.

So this is a late review I apologize, but I was in a motorcycle accident about 2 years ago and got pretty bad road rash that I should have gone to the ER for but instead went here cause it was down the street and the adrenaline was pumping through my veins so I didn't think at the time of the crash that I needed to actually go to the hospital. A nurse there named Stephanie I believe worked with me every step of the recovery process to make sure I was well taken care of and became fully healed, and I am truly grateful for the care I received. I highly recommend!

Doctors were okay but be extremely wary of the sketchy payment situation here. You have to preswipe a debit card before being seen. You are told you can set up a payment plan with their billing department after your visit is ran through insurance. The billing department is hard to reach and unresponsive with little communication with the actual doctors office. They told me that they cant actually do payment plans, and instead told me they will just take the money out of my account sometime within 2 weeks. I fought tooth and nail to ask for at least a 24 hour waiting period so i can make sure the money is in my account. Then i got the call saying my bill was 92.98. I told them to take the money out, that that was fine. But when the money came out, they took 198. I then fought tooth and nail again to get my 100 back, which didnt come out for another week and a half. Horrible experience.

😠 The building was in a rundown questionably unsafe neighborhood. The interior of the facility was not very clean at all. Not sanitary looking and very dated. Seating area didn’t allow for any kind of distance from other patients. One patient was sick and my partner got sick 3 days later. No face mask...
