I WILL NEVER recommend this place !!!! This one star is for on call nurses/pediatrics!!! So far the ones I had dealt with have been absolutely horrible ! Unprofessional! Rude! And sound like we patients inconvenience to them!!!!

    Office staff is a joke. The very unfunny kind. I love our primary provider and we've been seeing her since I was a kid... but it's not worth it. The instances of rude, indifferent treatment and slow/incompetent service have steadily accumulated over the last few years, and it's now become the norm. They're apparently dealing with too many inconveniences (a.k.a. patients), so I'm all too happy to relieve them of at least a few more.

    It's sad that my nephew had to change doctors because of inconsiderate accommodations by the receptionist at Doctor Gibson. Do better... After reading more reviews, conscious bias is at play...If you can read in between the lines.

    Receptionist to Dr. Gibson was rude. I tried to see the doctor after being 10 minutes late to the appointment (i drove all the way from Woodbine Iowa). Several times we have accommodated the doctor for being 20 sometimes 40 minutes late and yet this accommodation could not be made....

    This clinic is the most disorganized and chaotic healthcare setting I have ever seen. From having to chase down refills, to having their staff schedule me with the wrong provider and cancel the appointment with a few hours' notice, I truly have nothing good to say about it. I suppose their providers could be fantastic, but you would never know because the staff running it are so terribly incompetent. The sad thing is, it seems as though the staff making error after error don't realize that people's health actually is negatively effected when they can't see a doctor when they need one.

    I had the very unpleasant moment of having to speak with an after hours nurse concerning my child. I just have to say one of the most disrespectful unprofessional disgusting nurses i have ever spoke to. This clinic stands for providing the best care but unfortunately its people like this nurse that make you wonder how there even in the medical field considering that it requires caring and providing for others. Very sad to see its people like her who ruin it for others.

    The relationship I had with my doctor at Methodist was a very poor one. Every time I would come in to see doctor gartrell he would not listen to the issues I was telling him I was having. He would just sit there and bark back "yeah" over and over, even before I could finish a sentence he would cut me off with a "yeah" I was on multiple medications while seeing him and he always said he loved when I came in because I would research medications and stuff on my own time. A little while back he had back surgery which is understandable but it was still hard to get my medications refilled. After coming back from surgery he told me that he likes to make sure he's on top of everyone prescriptions even when he's out of the office. After about a month I called in my prescription and he had went on vacation the day prior. When I asked how to fill my prescription they transfered me to a doctor Williams who has harassed my wife about her period in the past and her issues with PCOS. When I asked doctor Williams about my prescription he said he would not perscribe it and I would have to go to the hospital? He also told me that there is no reason I should be prescribed the medication in the first place (he's not my doctor and I've never seen him before so I don't understand why he would make an assumption like that) eventually he filled my medication after me telling him what he was doing was wrong. When doctor gartrell came back from his vacation I was told I would not be seen in ANY Methodist locations in the future. So now I have no way of getting my medication or anything. I've lost two jobs and am about to lose my home all because doctor gartrell couldn't just do his job. I'm to the point of just giving up on life in general after all this. I was doing so well and it all came crashing down. Goodbye everyone.

    The reviews are true, long waits on the phone. At last after 30minutes the receptionist was unwelcoming and rude. In search of a doctor still. No luck here.

    Dr Walenz and her nurse and Dr Gibson and his team are beyond amazing every time I need anything! I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. Their attention to detail, timeliness, kindness and follow up is above and beyond the rest!

    Dr.vacha is the best primary I've ever had. She truly cares for her patients. She listens and diagnoses appropriately based on information you have provided her. She doesn't rush to diagnosis and takes the time to arrive at a logical conclusion. I always feel safe and in good hands.

    My Primary Care Dr. retired at the end of the year. We selected a replacement closer to my home. I could not get in to see him. I was in a lot of pain. I called Physicians Clinic at Regency where my other Dr.. had been. Reception staff was very cooperative in getting me scheduled with Dr. Welstead the same day. He did an x-ray and I have a broken rib. He was very compassionate, understood the pain I was in, gave me instructions on what i could and should do, sent a scrip to my pharmacy. Talked about a few other things. Told me to come back in a month. Always nervous to see a new Dr., but Dr. Welstead made me feel very comfortable. I have found a new primary care who I am very comfortable with. Great first visit!!

    Went in for a wells check with dr.Maria Vacha I must say she went over board and beyond with my appt she was great I’m glad I made her my primary dr never have I ever really had a primary doctor but she made me feel so comfortable and listen to me she gave me so much information and I loved that about her👌🏽❤️

    I have not had a good experience with this office in 3 yrs, I have to call the office every time I call a refill into the pharmacy, generally twice, it’s not my job to follow up on prescription refills every single time I call one in I only have 2=that need refills every 90 days and 1 that’s refilled every 60 days, and if I get called back about it it’s usually rude like I’m interrupting their day, but isn’t that the job they are hired for ! Your entire Covid farce destroyed this clinic !

    I started to see dr Hernandez within the last six months. She is nice. Although I have tried to get assistance with several things and it doesn’t get done in time. I left chi health to go to dr Hernandez.

    I was easily able to give this office 5 stars. I have had nothing but kindness from the ladies in the office, the nurses, and Dr.Jenkins. I have never felt more welcomed. Thank you for putting this patient at ease.

    We take our son to Dr. Gibson at the Physician's Clinic in Regency and we couldn't be happier. He's a great doctor, the nurses are good with the kiddo, and the availability is unmatched. We had several first time parent scares and were able to be seen same day, sometimes within the hour. We have seen the other two pediatricians in the clinic as well, and they have all taken the time to explain what's happening with our son and make sure we feel comfortable before we leave. I would highly recommend this pediatrician unit to anyone looking!

    I called into the travel clinic to see about a vaccine before moving knowing that there was a likelihood that they would not have it. When I asked about it the first person did not know and when a different staff member talked to me she very rudely told me that she doesn't know what it is. I understand not carrying certain vaccines but it is unprofessional and rude to get upset with a patient simply because you have not dealt with it before.

    Rudeness and lack of consideration with undertones of conscious bias should have no place in a hospital. Dr Gibson' s receptionist needs etiquette training or she should look for alternative employment.
