If you are looking for a facility that caters to every single need a child could have, then this is the place for you. My wife and I joined because of the outdoor aquatic facilities and the fact that they have "adult swim" times. Be sure to read that super fine print, though. There is literally never one second of one day that children are not in that area. Ever. It's either swim team, camps, or the ever elusive "programs." Currently, there is one pool that you can't use until after 4pm, so everyone is shoved into the main large pool, that inconveniently has lap lanes, all day, every day, all summer long, despite having lap lanes in the indoor pool. The pool deck, chairs, trash cans, etc are never hosed down and cleaned, so there are globs of sunscreen, gum, food, wrappers, and my favorite, Band-Aids, always present. The real nail in the coffin was the installation of a never ending barrage of speed bumps that are so tall, a sports car could potentially become high centered on them. Why the need for more speed bumps at this alarming height you ask? Why, children, of course! You never see Tommy or Sally on the stretch of road where these were excessively installed, because it's the back side of the building, so it seems wildly unnecessary. Time to prioritize who pays the bills, folks, cause it's not the kids that come for two-day camps; it's long-time members.

I think it is the best gym in town. Very clean, nice air quality, very clean and deep pool, does not smell like chlorine, and great sauna. I would not go anywhere else.

This is a very nice facility to hold an orchestra performance. Accoustics was excellent. Spacious entry. 3 stars for the temp. It was cold-30 deg outside. It was so hot inside I about got sick. There was no air movement. Very uncomfortable setting for an otherwise excellent performance by the Omaha Area Youth Orchestra.

Wow, what a great place. I'm 46 but I feel like retiring early here. Beautiful facilities & incredible people. Plus you don't have to be Jewish to live here

Thank-you Jewish Community, staff & visitors for making my fused art show so successful. I appreciate all the hard work Lynn Batten did to make it successful. The kind individuals who came through to see it & those that just happened upon it. I am very grateful to you all. Many thanks!

I love my membership at the J... The last three years being involved in the yoga program has literally changed my life. Great facility, excellent instructors, family friendly.

If you are considering a membership, just do it. Easily the best overall fitness/ healthy lifestyle center for families, seniors and those who are young and focused (no hotshots or meatheads here).

I've been to several great gyms over the years, but the J is by far my favorite! It's a beautiful, welcoming facility with a wide range of equipment. The prices are very reasonable considering how much you have access to for a standard membership. I highly recommend it to folks of all ages!

Family friendly, affordable (for all the things that come with the family membership), great facilities and welcoming environment. In my mind it has all the good things of planet fitness and lifetime, without the negative aspects of those gyms.

This use to be a great place to workout at. Unfortunately high-school kids have taken it over and it's now their new social hangout after school and now during the summer. They come in big groups and tie up lots of equipment not allowing others to workout. One will be lifting weights whole 4 other surround them playing on their phones or just watching taking up space. They are disrespectful of other members time and the staff don't care to address it head on.
