Stayed here for a few days during the college world series because there was NOTHING else available (we even looked at campsites) by the time we were able to book. We were exhausted and just wanted to get a good night's sleep. How dare we want something so extravagant! And here began our adventure at the Red Carpet Inn in NE. We rolled in around 10pm on a Thursday night after driving 8 hours with our 3 kids. Deciding to tough it out for the night instead of sleeping in our van (a cleaner option even after a full day of traveling), we entered the room. A quick scan of our new digs revealed dried urine around the toilet, dust everywhere, a very horrible funky smell, no fitted sheets on the beds, and a room that clearly had not been vacuumed in ages. Luckily, we had our own pillows and a couple small blankets that we traveled with, so we stripped the beds and tried to crash for the night. Unfortunately, the walls might as well be tarps hanging between the rooms for how much sound comes through. When the sun came up the next morning (which couldn't have happened soon enough), we left, bypassing the "breakfast" that contained about 1/4 inch of coffee in a dirty carafe, 2 biscuits and a crockpot full of gravy (said biscuits were still there when we returned 10 hours later), a juice machine and muffins that had expired a week earlier (I wish I was making this up). Some other highlights: - feel free to smoke in non-smoking rooms and the hallway - the workers "clean" the rooms BAREFOOT! - the "exercise room" was filled with work tables, power tools and sawdust - the bar advertised jello shots as a "special" - no bed bugs that we noticed! - They graciously provided us with three bathmats (instead of bath towels). You may want to consider just crashing in your vehicle at the truck stop next door. They tout this "establishment" as a "casual" hotel. I guess by casual, they mean they are casual about cleaning, upkeep, safety, hygiene, friendliness, food options, etc.

My daughter had her laptop and charger stolen from her backpack. We talked to management and filed a report with police. We called numerous times to get updates on a resolution. Nothing has been done and the general manager is clueless. He took our numbers and has never returned any of my phone calls, how convenient for him. I am placing a corporate complaint about this motel and it's management or lack there of! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this motel as obviously theft is an issue and doing nothing about it is its procedure.

What an absolute hole. I've stayed at some nice super 8s but this is filthy. Called to book and they said $75 but when I got there it was $99. Stained carpets, trash everywhere on floors, dirty towels used to prop doors open. Room smelled sweaty and the beds were worse. Big hole in the bathroom door, bathtub was grimy with cigarette burns all along the edge. TV didn't work either. Oh and world series week they wanted over $800 a night! Place needs shutting down.

The management is downright rude. The room was trashed. There wasn't a breakfast as they had promised online and when I called he may as well have spit in my ear as he spoke. Just an allaround poor and trashy experience.

Very friendly owners and staff. Great selection of channels with fast screens. They do serve a continental breakfast and free juice and coffee 24 hours! And if you are a smoker they do have a stretch of smoking rooms which is really rare but I liked it so I didn't have to go outside. So if you're looking for an affordable hotel room with good amenities. I definitely recommend staying there because of the awesome owners/staff!

Rooms are filthy and can't get clean sheets or towels. Agreed to the room rate for 6 months and it was raised after just a couple weeks. One good thing is there is a bar downstairs and the bartenders are both amazing!

Worst Super 8 I’ve ever been to. The room was disgusting with stains on the bed sheets, cigarette ash on the floor, dirty tables and sink area was clearly not wiped down by cleaning staff. Smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling and wires were just hanging out. To top it off, I have a dog and there is a $10 pet fee. This is a Super 8 standard fee, so tell me why I got charged $20. I have one dog, not two. Breakfast included coffee and that’s about it. No food, barely any creamer. I requested a different room and they were unable to accommodate me because “they didn’t have another room in any different condition than the one I was already in”.

Room wasn't ready at check in. Walked into huge mess. Had to argue with reception for another room. In the morning someone burged into our room!!! He had a working key and everything. When I approached receptionist about it he said "oh I don't know, very sorry" like it happens all the time!! Be careful here!

Beware BEDBUGS in room 205, ! I noticed the front desk, they offered to move me so I did. I woke up with more bites. I told the management I was going to different hote and wanted my money back for unused night, he said NO. The place is the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in during 14 years of traveling for my job. They never had an exterminator come and rented the room anyway. I tried to post pictures of the bites but it won't allow me to, so I counted 35 bites for a one night stay. I have called corporate headquarters and hopefully they will look into this hotel. I could have put up with drunk people yelling in the hallway at 3 am and the grayish white towels but paying 400.00 a week to get bit by bugs is unacceptable and I should have gotten 100% refund.

Do not stay here. If you’re looking for bed bugs, disgusting dirty rooms, body fluids galore, then this is the place for you. If you dare to stay here, get yourself scheduled for tetanus and doxycycline vaccines afterwards and you should be alright.

We were looking for a cheap place to stay overnight. This hotel was right off of I-80. They were able to accommodate our 35ft RV. We got a smoke-free pet friendly room. Large grassy area for pet relief, but be careful of the poo left behind by previous owners. There was a $20 pet fee which I was not expecting. There were signs this hotel was a recently renovated older building. The cleanliness was adequate, but could use some improvement. Free breakfast included. I had waffles and my husband had the last of the biscuits and gravy. Good wifi. Believe it or not they had a bar, and Saturday night karaoke. This was a first for us at a Super 8. This hotel met our expectations.

The sheets were clean. There was a big fancy tv… BUT that doesn’t mean much when 1. the toilet is not thoroughly cleaned 2. The toilet has a leak and it is moldy at its base/behind it (given the level of discoloration/warping of the laminate, it is clear this issue is not new. How was it not identified and resolved?!) 3. There is an exposed electrical outlet near the ground (what if I had a toddler with me?!)

Sign said $ 99.99 so I called they told me no 129. They ended up charging me 149 after he denied my reicpt when I checked in. Do not go to this place sneaky, and not worth your time

Do not come here. First we paid extra for a king size bed and did not get one. The room was scorching hot and did not cool down even with the A/C on since they had it completely off. The refrigerator was also hot inside of it which we were unable to use. The nightstand had smears all over. The pillows are extremely small and dirty. The bed sheets had blood smears...

Man overcharged me. When I told him her charged me almost thirty dollars more than the rate he made an excuse.

Driving through I saw the 59.99 on the sign and figured let's try. Well that price is for a 7 day stay, and the room was actually 90 a night. The place is super dirty, out dated, and gross feeling. I've stayed in some pretty bad hotels, but I didn't expect this level of bad for 90 a night. Breakfast was a joke, as there was no milk for cereal, only a ladle full of gravy, and half a waffle worth of batter left with nobody around at all to restock. The floors were disgustingly dirty in the dining area too. Had this been a 59 a night hotel, I'd forgive it a little, but at 90 a night, stay elsewhere. You can tell management of this one doesnt care about anything and you will be better served elsewhere.

The rooms were disgusting, the entire place was unclean and stunk. I did not even feel safe at the establishment.

If I could rate this with a minus I would. Worst hotel ever. 59.99 a joke cost 90 before taxes. Little bugs in the bathroom, no handle on the shower faucet couldn’t change from hot to cold , stained sheets, mold in the fridge, hallways were very trashy. It was late and ready to hit bitter cold outside so we stayed. Checkout time was at 11 am. At 9 am someone was coming into our room with a key thank my lucky stars I used the extra lock on the top. NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE!!!!!

I refused the first room because it was torn up and disgusting the second room was not much better I dont think the cleaning staff has a vacuum the rooms and hallways look like they haven't been vacumed in years literal pilrs of dirt in corners of the hallway. I highly recommend passing by this motel for just about anything else

The carpets were filthy. You had to clean your feet before you put your shoes on. The wall had drywall patching that was not finished or poorly done. There were wires hanging from the ceiling in our room. I've stayed at many Super 8's. This is so far the worst. I can't believe Wyndham would put there name on this facility!!!

At first denied us our service dog to where we had to wait outside for the cops to arrive to explain that they had no choice for two and a half hours. We get to the rooms and there's mold everywhere cracks in the wall wires exposed outlet covers missing. A lady with a grand canyon with 20 children took up the entirety of breakfast so none of us got to eat.

It was cheap, but unfortunately, for good reason. We thought the kids would like the advertised pool... CLOSED (in mid-June). Checking in, we were told we would not have the rooms cleaned every day... We were there 5 nights and they were NEVER cleaned. We had to go track down clean towels in the morning. The continental breakfast was okay.

I don't know who these people are writing reviews but what I experienced was a first for me. I found a condom wrapper under the bed when I dropped the remote. A guy 2 doors down overdosed and there was a CSI unit there and when I asked management why they said they didn't know they were even in the building! So we asked to be refunded for the next 2 nights they wouldn't but we weren't staying anyway. I called the motel next door and told them the story and they refused us because of the bed bugs that this place is known to have. We didn't have any problems with bed bugs though . When I confronted b.m. the manager he pretty much hung up on me. I'm giving it no stars .

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is filthy. It looks nice from the outside but on the inside, it is absolutely disgusting. The carpet is filthy, the rooms are filthy, there’s no plates over the electrical plug-ins, our bathroom door had fist holes in it on both sides with tissue stuck in it, there was a couch in the middle of the hallway, the towels are gray in color. If I could give it a zero, I would.

  • 1/5 Jacque T. 1 year ago on Google
If it was available, it would be zero stars! Lobby was dirty but I had hoped the room would have at least been cleaned... Nope, beds were gross carpet never vacuumed i was scared we would have taken roaches home with us. The manager could care less about his customers or the atmosphere. Really just a sad place. Didn't stay, he lied to me and my three children that the room would be refunded, didn't get that either. Don't stay here!!! This place should come with a WARRNING sign.

Horrible place to stay ever. Take your money elsewhere. The only good thing about its location. Requested NON-SMOKING room upon check-in at the property. The clerk told me that they don't have any rooms available. then he found me one room once I told him that I already booked it online. I asked for the confirmation that the room is NON-Smoking he confirmed it. Once I get into the room it was SMOKING, very filthy and did not look like they cleaned it after last guest. The general appearance was like the room is under remodel with dirt everywhere, lights not working, sheets not cleaned and towels caked with something unknown.

Guy at night very nice and made check in easy and fast. Rooms and definitely carpets need attention. Beds, blankets and pillows nice. Breakfast is not good by far, for the most part. Biscuits for gravy stale, bread was expired, no juices in machine. Need to also fix the door as anyone can go in there and it's kinda scary. 3 stars

Staff was great. BUT arriving in our room there were Cheerios on the floor. Also one of the lamps by the bed did not work. Also bar in shower/tub came right out of wall when using it to get into shower.

Just started working here and it's nice . We do not have bugs . Might need 2 be updated but still a nice place 2 stay . Rooms are super clean we work our asses off so that we know there clean . And the staff does not do drugs. Might of been the staff before me but I've never seen anything . But again I'm not there 2 make friends i keep 2 myself and work i don't get mixed in all that .

The breakfast was pretty decent. You could tell that thought and planning went into it. The service was great as well! They were so helpful and kind. But the room was not the best. It despretly needed to be updated and the whole room was a mess it definitely needed a good vacuum. The shower and sink we're gross as well there was hair in both (not mine or my wife's) and the toilet was broken. If they fixed up the rooms or actually cleaned them this place would get a lot better reviews.

🫤 When we checked in the lady was very rude. "What do you want?" in an annoying tone was how she greeted us. Then my key didn't work. While I was in line to get my key fixed another gentleman was at the counter telling the lady that the room she just gave him was not cleaned! She was like "oh, I don't...
