😠 Sadly I had a very bad experience with this place. I ordered a vegetable stir fry and it came out in a “soup” carton and half liquid. The worst part was when he asked me how spicy out of 5, I said 3, assuming it would be medium and I can handle a decent level of spice. Well it was 5/5 so spicy my... Sadly I had a very bad experience with this place. I ordered a vegetable stir fry and it came out in a “soup” carton and half liquid. The worst part was when he asked me how spicy out of 5, I said 3, assuming it would be medium and I can handle a decent level of spice. Well it was 5/5 so spicy my mouth is still burning on fire even 5 min after I could barely eat half of it. Wow so horrible. I’m not even going to go in to complain or ask for another because this is a mom and pop place and I can tell by his personality that the older owner will just give me a blank look like, ok that’s your problem you didn’t like it. Now I have to go to another place for dinner.

This restaurant must’ve changed hands and we didn’t even know it. I tried to keep an open mind and give them the benefit of doubt, but something has changed in the last two years or so. We’ve been probably 5 or 6 times and Uber’d delivery a couple times and the amounts get less and less, while the price gets more and more. A Thai Beef Salad added 6 shrimp and a Thai tea came to $39. That’s quite high considering there use to be so much more to this salad. We used to come here and eat in. The salads were on a oval plate and was heaping with lettuce cucumbers, tomatoes and red onions with green onions or scallions. Now, you can barely see the lettuce. Nor is It heaping. The rice was so dry and hard, more than half of the rice was almost translucent. Myself being a rice l, eater born and raised, this looked to be day old rice that was microwaved. No moisture whatsoever. We sprinkled it on our wooden table and you could hear the “tink, tink, tink” of the rice hitting the table. Not only was their salad nowhere near what it used to be, but it was more sweet than the umami we remembered it used to be. The salad was sweeter than their Thai Tea. I’m just so disappointed and feel hosed.

I was driving from CA to PA and stopped here, not expecting great Thai food in Nebraska. This place is amazing. They make their own curry paste as you can see the ground up lemongrass and spices at the bottom. So good...this is the real deal if you know Thai food. Highly recommended.

The service was very slow, there were only 2 other people dinning but I think they were more busy with take out orders. The phone kept ringing and there were people in and out picking up food. After ordering our food the waiter (owner I think) never came back to our table to check and refilled water. We tried to flag him down so we can get a to-go box but he never once looked over and just kept on with his business. He was busy at the desk and there were other people who came in and waited a good 10-15 minutes before they placed their orders and I can hear all the whining, huffing/puffing and complaining from their table while waiting to pay which took another 7-9 mins standing in line. Overall the food was food and the boat noodle had an authentic flavor and you can tell its just a small family own business but they should get some additional help.

Fantastic fresh food. Amazing flavors. Pretty quick service. Just okay atmosphere. But you won't care because of the food. Really good sauces and accompaniments. The mango Rangoon is fire. Parking is difficult.

I discovered Laos when I was Googling for "Thai" food. This area lack Asian-foods so it's nice to see another restaurant catering to that need. I was really craving a beef Pad Thai, so that's what I went with. Ordered it with a 4/10 spicy and it had an OK kick to it if you'd like something milder-spicy (still comfortable to eat). The dish itself was pretty ok, nothing fancy. If you come here I'd highly recommend getting some Crispy Spring Rolls as well, you won't regret it. I'll make sure to try some house specials next time I come here.

Such a wonderful gem! Learned of Laos Thai from a friend's recommendation and can't thank them enough. The service and food are always top notch. If I lived closer I would be a regular for sure!!!

The best Thai I’ve had in Omaha. The tom kha soup is delicious, and we had the custard with sweet rice which was super good! This is going to be one of our favorites.

Incredible food. Had the drunken noodles, pad thai, fresh rolls, and chicken wings. I'm not sure about authentic since I've never been to Laos or Thailand, but I can say this food is top notch and homemade excellence. Very clear the sauces and such were made from scratch and the flavor was unique and not cookie cutter versions of the dishes. This will be my standby Thai spot.

Hands down one of the top 2-3 Thai restaurants in Omaha. We practically come here every week we can’t stay away. The yellow curry is PERFECT and it’s my favorite dish there. My husband’s favorite is the Tohm Kah coconut soup. He also loves a lot of the stir fry dishes. The service could be quicker however, we usually only see one chef and one server manning the whole restaurant. On busy days/times, you may wait a little longer for food. The staff is always very friendly and they recognize us when we come in. Highly recommend.

I typically tend to venture only in downtown or midtown Omaha for dining, but this outing was worth it! The restaurant is located not too far from downtown/midtown areas. The service was nice and the vibe was pleasant (relaxing, modern feel with a touch of Thai). The cuisine from Thailand seemed delicious. It was well presented. Nice selection for vegetarians (like me) and those who are not afraid to handle spices. Overall, a delightful experience. Go try it out.

Got a to-go order. Food was fantastic! I ordered the red Thai curry. So flavorful! Probably the best red curry I had In the thai atmosphere

Sincere! Food was delicious. I had the Thai Beef Salad very hot, the fried spring rolls, and the chicken Satay...you know the one with peanut butter sauce. Rather enjoyed this place and price was average. Definitely will be back when in town.

Loved my first visit and will be back! I had vegetable red curry and mango rangoon. Everything was delicious! I can't wait to try something new next time. Great service, kind people.

We went here for lunch yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Service was quick and our waitress was attentive and polite. The food we ordered was delicious and generously portioned. I had the Beef Ball Noodle Soup (Kuay Teay Naum Luok Cin Nuea) which was similar to Pho and very tasty. My partner had the Pineapple fried rice and will probably get three meals out of it with the leftovers! All in all a wonderful experience and we will be back.

My family was driving across the country and after having a nightmarish experience at Sidney, NE, we wanna get out of NE asap. We stopped by this Thai restaurant, wasn’t expecting much, but turned out finding an absolute gem! Every dishes we ordered exceed expectations. The noodle used to make the pad Thai and noodle soup was top notch, and I’ve tried many Thai restaurants all over the world. The waitress and I believe the owner was extremely nice people and had a good chat. A great experience, will definitely come back again when I get the chance!

I went here twice, the first time it was soo good, the second time after a week it was so bad, dont know if the chef changed or the first time we were so hungry we thought it was good, but the food was not worth the 20 mins. Waste of time. Everything was bland and gross

Food was great, took about half an hour to get our food after we ordered. Otherwise, service was also excellent. Very good portion size for the price

I was a little hesitant eating here because of the recent reviews but let me tell y'all, this place is awesome. Best drunken noodles and lemon grass stir fry we've ever had. Great food

Credit card is good here and place is a little old inside but the food makes up for it. The Pad Thai was really good with the garlic crumbs on top.

Be careful when ordering your heat level! I absolutely love this place and think their Pad Thai is the best! One time I ordered the heat level a 7 (out of 10) And we could not eat the food it was SO HOT!
