I loved this place! I loved ordering my food on the little computer and paying right there without ever having to talk to another human! The space is beautiful. It was a relaxing environment. Even though there were several other tables it was very quiet. I was thrilled that I had the option to use spring mix as the base for my poke bowl. I will definitely be returning. Thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Food was great. Was greeted right away and service was enjoyable. Was not very crowded and felt the time from order to ready was great. Wasn’t really sure how to pronounce name in video but I think my son got it right.

Place is fantastic. Food was great, service awesome, and very nice atmosphere. I got the spicy chicken Roman. I think these might be the best I’ve ever had. The menu had a great selection of rolls too. I recommend checking it out.

Discovered this neat little place by accident and it easily became a favorite place to eat downtown. Love the laid back atmosphere, yummy food, and boba. Their brown sugar milk tea is to die for! It’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area, it’s within walking distance of a lot of places downtown.

A really great location, authentic Japanese food and the staff is super friendly and helpful with ordering I'm case you don't know what things are. The boba drinks are really large and they put a cute little cat looking cap on top. The presentation of the Ramen I ordered was really nice. It was extremely flavorful and I definitely recommend it.

It maybe just me as my taste could be more accustomed to the localized version of Ramen so please bear with me. I've had Ramen before at places like Jinya Ramen in Atlanta or Tindrum who recently started offering Ramen and I'd prefer the two Ramen places over this one. The chicken Ramen was supposed to be spicy but wasn't for me and it's kind of was missing some taste/ spices. The firecracker shrimp was actually on the sweet side instead of being hot. The shrimp was tasty but I was expecting hot.

They unlocked their door for us. I don't get much time with my 2 kids as a working single mom with 50% time. Tonight I had promised my kids some boba tea after getting off work late, I struggled to find a place that was open after 9. I called ahead of time and the Gal on the phone was so helpful, we got there within 8 minutes of closing time, the door was locked by a different employee as we parked. Kids were bummed out, however she saw us, and knew who we were, she opened unlocked the door and let us in and took our boba order, with a smile on her face and a warm welcome. We took our bobas and enjoyed the evening at the leahy mall. !! Thank you for making my kids night and this mom a superhero. Delicious Bobas!! Money is extremely tight, so this was a very nice treat! We want to try the food, one day I hope to be able to afford a nice dinner date with my kids there.

Great music they were playing afrobeats, rap and r&b. All of my favorites! I had a taro tea with popping boba in it which was on point. I also had the 3 Chashu buns which were really good. I would suggest adding a little bit more sauce but otherwise l loved them. I also had the crab rangoon which I say is average. That does come with a good lightly spicy sauce. And the teriyaki salmon which was yummy.

It was a slow Sunday night when we came in, which made me wonder if the food was as good as reported? Well, yeah it is. Great meal! My wife loved her poke bowl, and my spicy chicken katsu ramen bowl was awesome. Great portions, fair prices, awesome flavor. We’d come here again.

This is the best all round Asian restaurant I've ever been to. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the chirashi and poke bowls are excellent

My ramen tasted so good. I would have given it 5 stars. However, my half egg was cold, and the broth wasn't hot. I would love to come back and get a super hot bowl. Today might have been an off day. It was really convenient to just walk around the corner from the hotel. Look at it, delicious. Try it out.

Had my 1st visit of many here yesterday & …Ok so the only slightly negative thing I have to say is that this is the most I’ve ever paid for ramen 🍜 but it was worth it in every way! This establishment has quickly taken over as my fav ramen shop here in Omaha. I was simply mind blown. I ordered the seafood shoyu ramen & Chashu-Buns -it was absolutely delightful. I ate it ALL!!! I’ve never eaten all my ramen in one sitting while dining in before !!! I already plan to go back next Sunday & have shared this place on all my social media platforms! S/O to the 2 ladies that were working! They were so nice & helpful. This place is truly a gem. I 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying this place out if you’re at all in the mood for ramen. ENJOY!!!!

Great food. Ramens are great. It has a great flavor in depth. I love the noodles they use, it's more close to what we are accustomed to in Japan

Excellent ramen and poke bowls! In the trendy Capital District. Perfect for dining out before a show at the several surrounding venues.

The Chicken Tonkotsu ramen had a perfect balance of seasoning, and the meat was tender and delicious. However, the Akarui ramen was a bit salty, which was disappointing.

I've been to Akarui a few times now and I can confidently say that this is easily the best Ramen shop in Omaha. I've ordered their "Akarui Ramen" a few times and they get the balance of thing so right. The broth is flavorful without being overly heavy or salty. The pork is cooked beautifully and there's a generous portion of it. Overall, great food! The chicken karaage is also great.

This place has everything going right for it. Some of the best ramen I've ever had, as good as what you might find in other large cities like Chicago. I would highly recommend the Shio Butter ramen, but the Spicy Chicken-katsu my wife had was spectacular as well. We also tried the boba and fruit tea, both were great. The fruit tea was impressive, not too sweet like it should be. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Omaha is lucky to have this in town!

A very warm and chilled resturant. The ramen was just the right amount of spiciness that I like. The pork buns was the best pork buns I have tasted since being in Chicago. The staff was very welcoming and kind. 10/10 recommended.

My second dine-in visit. It's fresh food made flavorful. It's definitely my new go-to. Great atmosphere, good service and decent prices.

First time dining here, and I must say it was amazing! The pork bao buns and goyza were excellent! We each ordered a different type of ramen bowl, including a plain ramen for the youngest kiddo, and they were all delicious! The picky eater even enjoyed his plain ramen!! I recommend the brown sugar latte Boba, which was also delicious. I called ahead and made a reservation. However, it was not needed since there were not many customers at that time. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend!

Great poke bowl with good portion size. Fish was fresh and there wasn’t an extra charge for avocado. The milk tea is also good, not too sweet. I come here every time I’m in Omaha.

Classy Oriental Restaurant: we stopped in for lunch, just passed noon, to enjoy lunch for 3 adults and two toddlers. They host ample seating in the dining area, with two to 10 with benches easily around a table, and a (presumed) take out/delivery waiting area. We ordered an appetizer, Vegetable Gyoza (green wraps) & three bowls. 1 Akarui Ramen (egg topped) 1 Hungry Sailor Poke Bowl 1 Side White Rice 1, Make Your Own Poke Bowl (Single) ~Brown Rice (base) ~Spicy Kani (protein) ~Avocado (up to 3 veggies) ~Tomato ~Cucumber ~Wasabi Aioli -Side (up to 3) ~Sesame Seeds ~Tempura Flakes ~Pickled Ginger It was a very satisfying meal in a relaxed atmosphere, void of distractions, and tremendous traffic. Street side parking is available but the meters require feeding as well.

Hidden gem!! Akarui is a place you can visit alone or bring the family/a group. The food alone would be a reason to visit, it's absolutely delicious, however the beautiful atmosphere is a reason to dine in! Staff keep a cheerful smile while they help you choose what to eat. You'll have to return several times to taste everything good on the menu! Save this restaurant as your new regular Ramen stop!

Great service, very tasty boba teas and appetizers. Very spacious location in downtown and the vibe is great. The location justifies a bit the prices. Ramen was good but char su could be improved a bit by not boiling it but more roasted and juicy. Marinated eggs in soy sauce would’ve been a plus.

The food was great, but "What's Love Got To Do With It" was stuck on repeat in their sound system. No disrespect to Ms Turner, but I'm knocking a star off.

Not only did I have a great experience, but they welcomed my service dog and we sat comfortably by the window, where the sun was bright, and the sake flight, was just right. Not only was the karaage chicken delicious, but it was to perfection. The staff was kind, and and the atmosphere great.thankyou for your kindness.

Date night with hubs checking out new-to-us, ramen and poke place. It did not disappoint. Great prices and food. Laid back and stylish atmosphere. Easy parking in the area and is convenient to other happenings.
