Horrible. If I could rate this place a 0 I would. My tax return is someone else’s SS number ( for my deceased fathers pension). Try to speak with a live person, not possible. They expect you to do everything online. When you try online it says access denied. I wonder why.

Your dispatchers and the people that answer the phone about blocked crossing really need to take some classes on courtesy not that Union Pacific will ever care about that uncontrolled power railroads thing of the past just one giant Monopoly game to you people PS thank you for screwing up Boone Iowa but you have those people believing with the railroads a good thing LOL

My son wrote a letter to union pacific railroad and the address was sweeten creek rd., Asheville nc. I went there to ask about his letter and they said this is not a railroad office. Do you have my son's Nolan's letter. I would appreciate a response to him. You are his favorite railroad. He is 14 and in a few years he wants to go west and work for you. His letter was in essence a praise to UP.

The cafeteria here is open to the public and has a wide variety of options. For cafeteria food, everything is surprisingly fresh and the ingredients seem to be good quality for the most part. A little pricey though. I would not recommend the salad bar for the price.

Bedford Park, IL BNSF is horrible. Can someone explain why the Bedford Park, IL trains on 65th and Harlem Ave continues to stop on the tracks and block all the major intersections in this area? It's always a BNSF train, but they always say it's a Union Pacific track. Is Union Pacific using BNSF trains or is BNSF lying? Who is blocking traffic? Is it BNSF or Union Pacific? They also claim that they have no contact with UP, so how is it that possible?

Took a neighbor to the medical clinic there and found that they have an open to the public lunch area. Food was very good and reasonably priced. I know they don't advertise this to compete with other businesses in the area, since this is their mainly for their employees. We found it very good and place that I want to come back to you again just to visit for the food.

Really great at the hire/fire game. If you want a career recommend looking elsewhere, if you are looking to work a few years then change, this is the fit for you. They keep the low output performers and get rid of the people that are good at their job. Full disclosure: Left voluntary, neither laid off nor fired.

I always visit their employee's cafeteria. It's open to the general public Mon to Fri 11am - 1:30pm. They have an amazing salad bar. But you can get diner food like a hamburger and French fries. There's also a special 'healthy choice menu that has 1 or 2 entrees that change daily. You purchase everything separately as part at the end.

They have the best cafeteria. The salad bar is probably the best in Omaha. It's only open from 11am -1 or 1:30 pm Mon thru Friday. Outta open to the public.

I visit the cafeteria here every now and then. Great selection of foods, many of which are prepared in front of you, for around $7-$10 per meal. Also a huge salad bar with tons of options, would definitely recommend if you like a good variety in a salad bar.

I got sick in training and at first they stood behind me and gave me time to get better. And when I went back to do more training they were very nice and helpful. After that though I found out why they stood behind me. It was to stab me in the back. They just told me that I was going to be terminated over something I didn’t even do. Yup not to mention by working for them I went into debt

UP store is open to public. They have a great selection of things to buy that could be used for gifts. This is where I get my polos for work because they have women’s sizes and I believe their site does as well. The store and building are immaculately clean. My only complaint is that the cafe should be open earlier/later to compensate for the early and late employees. Security should be better as well not enough of them off staff.

Sitting at a crossing in council bluffs in a day when it's over 100 degrees for close to an hour without the train moving at all. It has more then three crossings blocked. Council bluffs has the worst trains ever

Union Pacific is an amazing company. My experiences with them have been nothing but positive.
